I agree, except I think Virgo is more about Physics and Aquarius about inventions.

Virgo just "gets" it. How things are supposed to work. Which is what Physics is.

Now Theoretical Physics is Aquarius. Going beyond Physics.

Most theoretical physicists have strong Pisces placements, most commonly with Sun, Moon, or Mercury in Aquarius. I would argue that physics is more than just "How things are supposed to work" but thats a different topic

I wanted to become a Theoretical Physicist, though.

As a Virgo Sun/Aqua Moon I can confirm this

I agree that it would be Virgo.

Off topic, but you and I share placements! I also have a Leo Sun, Cancer Moon, Virgo Mercury and Libra Mars.

Yes, my bad, "How things are supposed to work" is logic. Well, do work, that is.

While Physics is the measuring of how matter and energy function in the Universe.

That was what I meant when I said that, though. Meaning Virgo is good at working with something that can already be defined in the real world.

Uranus deals with with the 90 percent of our brain we do not use. even though that is technically not correct but you get my point lol
Mercury is related a lot to the science-logic physical world.

I have MC/saturn in aquarius and Uranus and I've never been interested physics as a career even though I was very much into studying it in school.
Really because with physics and science is just too conversative. As they say if a theory isn't broken don't fix it. besides we grasp a clear understanding in most of our physical universe anyways. What else is there to really discover . Granted I'm logical enough to realize in my life I will probably never witness anything ground breaking.

So Im taking my Venusian-Uranian energy and applying that to creation. I'll create my own universe for everyone to enjoy.
That's why Im majoring in interactive design. Which is a mix of engineering, art, communications.

While I think the Virgo energy can help push someone in that direction I'm inclined to say it wouldn't be without certain sign pairings. Mostly Sag, Pisces, Aqua, and Aries in my experience. Otherwise the Virgo is too luke-warm and lacks an existential motive or pioneering spirit to discover the secrets of the universe.

Yes, exactly.
Otherwise, if the Virgo is interested in the Sciences, they could be inclined to go into Chemistry or Biology.

I guess we've been in agreement the whole time and I just didn't realize it lol I only slept three hours last night

For the record I personally put Mercury's exaltation in Aquarius. The idea of Mercury ruling Virgo AND exalting there makes no sense to me

Yeah, I guess we have, lol.

I agree with what you said about Mercury not being able to rule and exalt in the same sign, as it contradicts an astrological law, as I thought that as well, but I personally think Mercury does it's uttermost best in Virgo, in every way... so I think it should exalt there as well.

I know, right? Like this thread! It's swarming with Aquarius Mercury people who just want to talk about how "exalted" their placement is.

To me this proof of Merc in Aqua exaltation if anything, in my experience it's very easy for people with exalted planets to become arrogant - whether they know about them or not (I'm looking at you Moon in Taurus folks)

My husband has Mercury in Virgo and is extremely intelligent in some ways, but narrow-minded in others, so it doesn't sit perfectly well with me to say his mind is "exalted."

Not saying mine's the best, either.

My vote for exalted Mercury goes to Pisces.

We are talking about exalted mercury here. Not moons. Moon has nothing to do with the topic.

I dont go around giving my opinions and stating my moon is in taurus and is exalted and im almighty. thats childish and stupid. You are the one who came up with the excuse yourself.

Gemini Mercury - won't let anything bother them.

Virgo Mercury - anything can potentially annoy them, they don't like to let things go.

Aquarius Mercury - similar to Virgo Mercury only more stubborn.
