I get the sense that Saturn and Neptune are the least favorite planets around here. So it might be surprising that I’m looking forward to Saturn conjuncting my natal Neptune. But it will happen latter than I anticipated because of Saturn’s pesky retrograde from March 3 until July 21. Why am I looking forward to this? Because the way I interpret this transit is that Saturn will bring into focus all that Neptune has been obfuscating. How would you interpret this transit? The last time this transit happened I was 15, and because of retrograde again at 16. It was significant time in my life. I totally redefined myself, totally changed my friends, my look, and my attitude about everything. In retrospect the whole thing was rather Plutonic. Of note the transit takes place in Scorpio and also sextiles my Pluto…trines my Moon to boot. Also what kind of orb would you use for these two planets…2…3 degrees? Actually the transit just beginning about now, but will back off by the end of March. More Neptune: speaking of transits that repeat a couple times in a row, this March Neptune will finally leave my 6th house for the last time. This is the 3rd time it has conjuncted my Dsc. Does anyone have experience with Neptune transiting the 7th? I think the timing of these is curious…or possibly serendipitous.

It can go both ways...Saturn can bring Neptune into focus/manifestation, or it can "debunk" Neptunian yearnings and restrain their expression. I have several friends with natal Sat/Neptune conjunct and though they are all creative they tend to have to focus on "nuts and bolts" and the more mundane issues in life... The last time I experienced this transit was a truly creative period when my dreams were manifesting...but it was very hard work with restrictions being imposed from without and within(confidence crises etc)... As the transit passed, I became pregnant and Saturn took over my.life for a few years...as it conjuncted mt SN, squared my jupiter, then proceeded to trine uranus, square sun/pluto, and conjuncted MC. Other aspects will come into play and probably differently now you are an adult. . IP: Logged |

I was going to say, it all depends on how it's Aspected. With your Pattern, it may be different than for others. One Degree, you really feel it. IP: Logged |

Ugh. I had forgotten about that. As Neptune is going to transit over my Sun, opposite my Moon, and square my NN/Neptune, Saturn will also be conjunct my NN/Neptune around the same time, squaring my Sun and Moon. At least Neptune will trine my natal Saturn, and Saturn will trine my Venus/Asc. Round about the same time, anyway. Not looking forward to it at all. But...fingers crossed and all that. IP: Logged |

At 16 I experienced a major paradigm shift in my life. I became a totally different person and broke free from what I loathed only to be replaced by people experiencing LOTS of difficulties that I had to take care of. Since my birthdate is something like, three days from yours, this transit applies to me as well. Since things are more stable and I am not experiencing anything I want to break free of at the moment, maybe this time will be different? Right now T Neptune is nearly opposite my sun it's been like this for a while in my fifth house trying to enter my sixth. It will be quite a while before it enters the seventh. I haven't noticed the opposition it makes to the sun much since I am so used to the Neptunian energy in my life. More of the same. It doesn't stand out but I have become more acclimated to my surroundings and less reliant on artificial sources of comfort. IP: Logged |

Yeah, when I say I'm looking forward to it, I don't mean I think it'll necessarily be pleasant, but it is needed at this point in my life. And I just don’t think it’s for nothing that it’ll be relatively soon after Neptune enters my 7th.Neptune has been in my 6th house for 13 years, and I need a change. It hasn’t been kind to my work or health. This concerns me for what Neptune might do to my personal relationships and partnerships (I’m pretty certain family and friends are covered in other houses) except I don’t currently have any personal relationships and partnerships. If Saturn reveals rather than restricts, could it make Neptune's transition to the 7th clearer? I’m intuiting that this is the point in my life when I must become more Piscean and in tune with 7th house concerns…partly because my NN resides here. I have this urgent sense of now or never. SSS: it sounds like it acted on us similarly last time. IP: Logged |
