Me and my SO have Moon-Ascendant double whammy!
His moon trines my ascendant exact and my moon squares his ascendant around 3 degrees. I think he is able to read my emotions very well, and I always react positively if he holds my hans etc. But I don't know if it's the same the other way around..I feel that I have a hard time reading him emotionally. Often it leads to insecurity, as I'm insecure whether he would like me to "touch" him or not? Does somebody else have experience with moon-ascendant aspects, and how did you solve the square in particular? IP: Logged |

Moon trine asc is nice but the conjunction is betterMoon square asc is very bad. In the cafeastrology.com synastry factors list it has one of the worst ratings, i think a negative two. I also have had this aspect with two people and we would always always argue. We couldnt even have a conversation without arguing. I admit that quality about our friendship did reveal itself more over time than right away. Ive also had the moon conj asc with two people and the aspect is described as a feeling of soul kinship. Thats exactly how it felt--very connected very nurturing. Id imagine moon trine asc is like that but much weaker a feeling ------------------

I think the individual sign the moon's in should be taken into account.I have both Sun & Moon sq my Virgo Asc. While I swoon over 99% of the Virgos I meet, I'm more reticent of the Moon placement. Ultimately I realize I don't like the energy coming off them and decide it's best to cut off contact. Of the squares (Gemini & Sagittarius): I clash with the Gemini, but it's the one I find most mountable. Moon in Sagittarius conjuncts my own moon, while squaring my Asc. They need a lot of space which isn't cool with me - peas in a pod and all that - so this leads to indifference. As a moon in Sagittarius, I bond easily with Sagittarius Asc. Of the Virgo & Pisces Asc both irritate me in their own ways, but Pisces were easier to patch things up with. IP: Logged |

I agree!! We have the conjunct very tight orb and it's incredible!!  I'd also imagine the trine being weaker.

My Libra Asc trine Her Aquarius Moon.Her Leo Asc trine My Saggitarius Moon. The connection is there but it feels very soft and soothing. I invited her over for breakfast and We end up spending 5 hours talking about everything. This is great for friendship but I rather have the conjunction for a love affair. We shared some awesome aspects: Me: Libra Asc, Virgo Sun, Sag Moon, Cancer Venus, Leo Mars, Scorpio Pluto. Her: Leo Asc, Leo Sun, Aquarius Moon, Virgo Venus, Gemini Mars, Libra Pluto. Sun conjunct/quintile Venus
Sun conjunct/square Mars
Moon opposite Mars DW
Moon sextile Moon
Asc trine Moon DW
My Pluto touch all her personal planets.
Her Pluto conjunct my Asc and quintile my Moon/Venus. Mars, Venus, Mercury on her 12th house.
Pluto on my 12th house.
Her Mars on my 8th house. Composite Sun/Mercury on the 12th. Pretty much says it all! ------------------
