I'm a non-denominational Christian and I believe everything Christians believe (e.g. Jesus is the Son of God; Jesus died to save us from sin; God is the almighty father and creator of all). But I also like the idea of reincarnation--which Christians aren't supposed to accept--and some other stuff that Christians don't believe. I am very accepting of other religions and I don't judge them. Can you tell from a chart if someone has contradicting beliefs? I'm asking this because I got so ****** at my teacher today. He said pagans are evil when they're not. My best friend is a pagan and I defended her beliefs. I don't think it is wrong to defend someone like her. If Jesus didn't judge Mary Magdalene, then so should we not. I swear, most Catholics are so prejudice--one reason I stopped being one. Sorry if I'm venting. I just need to let it out. IP: Logged |

So the retrograde doesn't affect it? IP: Logged |

Jupiter retro helps you think for yourself when it comes to this stuff I have it too. I'm don't follow any religion but I have my set of beliefs and some elements are present in religions (for example, reincarnation). You also have a Yod with the Moon, Mercury (or Venus or you have 2 Yods, not sure) and Uranus as the apex. In the 8th house, which rules the occult. You may feel very tempted to explore this sphere even though you're christian. Well, you already got into astrology ^^

I used to be like you, Solar_Leo, juggling beliefs. It was stressful for me.I have 9H Jupiter, with a splash chart like yours. You have Venus conjunct Mercury, I have Venus parallel and sextile to Mercury. You have Pisces SN (spirituality), Virgo NN (more structured religion, perhaps.) I have a 6H sun in mutual reception with 12H Saturn...and we both have water moons (not liking the judgement part of religion.) Just saying, I've been there. I think, within ourselves, we can't really have "contradicting" beliefs. Outside of ourselves, people have set up camps representing beliefs that are supposedly polar opposites, but if they don't manifest as polarities within us...that's just the way it is. I think it's just a matter of embracing our idiosyncrasies, giving ourselves the freedom to think about life as much as we want, and drawing conclusions about it from our personal experiences. Jupiter in the Aquarius in the 9th sounds to me like someone that expands their beliefs in a way that goes against what is expected , but your jupiter is sextile saturn so that explains to me why you still have traditional beliefs.Since Jupiter is doing a grand trine with the ascendant and mars, you naturally spend energy defending the social rights of others in having different beliefs.IP: Logged |

I feel you. Lol. It just really ticks me off when people aren't accepting at all and they judge others according to the surface.

I was almost converted to atheism once because I thought that Catholicism was too restrictive. But then, something held me back. I guess that Saturnian influence explain it. I just couldn't make myself believe that there is no God because I feel that there is and I know that there is.

I'm curious, what are YOUR beliefs? Not those your parents brought you up in or the ones you were conditioned to have (Christianity). What are YOURS? The ones YOU have come to feel to be true? People are giving up religion in favor of either Spirituality and a unified belief in God or going straight to Atheism. Either way people are shrugging off the chains that were put on them in the Age of Pisces. The symbol of Jesus is the fish and Jesus was known to wash the feet of the poor (Pisces rules the feet.) Jesus had a very Piscean message: Universal love and acceptance for all. The age of Pisces could have been the Spiritual awakening of humanity but we weren't ready yet. If we look at how the Age of Pisces happened, we can easily see its lower order taking predominance. Illusions and delusions about God were rife with different religions fighting one another claiming their God was the only one. This type of behavior is not conducive to God and is why more and more people are abandoning religions. Not to mention the close-mindedness about many modern phenomena and topics (Equal rights, Scientific discovery, Space exploration, E.T.'s, interconnectedness of the world, unification of spirituality, new age movement, etc.) Thus you we are seeing (and you are feeling) the vestiges of the last astrological age (Pisces) fighting for dear life against the unstoppable onslaught of the new one (Aquarius) and this is happening inside of you. Virgo North Node is exacerbating this conflict as part of you is realizing your old beliefs are becoming incompatible with the coming Age. ------------------ Leo Sun Scorpio Moon Capricorn Rising Leo Mercury Leo Venus Libra Mars Sagittarius Jupiter Pisces Saturn Capricorn Uranus Capricorn Neptune Scorpio Pluto Virgo Chiron

I believe that Jesus saved us all from sin and gave us ultimate freedom by doing so. But it doesn't mean we should sin again and again. I think the freedom he gave us was to do the things that we want as long as its right and it doesn't defy the will of God or the 10 commandments. I am compelled to believe in past lives and all the spiritual stuff, but again, the Bible does say we don't get many lives. So I'm not sure if I believe it. Maybe just fascinated with it, I guess. Also, there's divination, which I know I'm not supposed to practice, but I'm drawn to it. I do it, but I don't rely on it completely, because I still believe that God is the only one who truly knows what exactly is gonna happen. IP: Logged |
