Does anyone have any idea what this is all about? Is it referring to the cross that you have natally? Here's an excerpt of what I've read: "The Mutable Cross means we are wholly personality-driven, with no experience of our Soul. The Fixed Cross means we are awakening, and although we are still largely personality-driven, we’re beginning to awaken and have some Soul Awareness. Those on the Cardinal Cross are fully awakened, in the fact that they have completed the process of Soul Integration; the fusion of Soul and personality is complete, and they are Soul-Centred Beings." I have all three... so I'm awake, asleep, and half-asleep all at once? Can't put much stock in this. "No experience of our soul" doesn't sound credible to me. IP: Logged |

If you divide the Zodiac into four in any direction, you will have a Cross. Those four Signs will either be Cardinal: Aries/Libra, Capricorn/Cancer Fixed: Taurus/Scorpio, Leo/Aquarius Or Mutable: Gemini/Sagittarius, Virgo/Pisces.

Thanks Ellyn I am aware of the groups, I meant how do I find a cross in my chart? By looking which groups do I have? And I must all four of the signs to have a cross? I may have both a cardinal and mutable cross

If one views the cross as a horizontal and vertical line, the vertical line of the cross is seen as longer than the horizontal. One could take this to imply that the life of the soul (which lives in the now) extends further than the time-space line of the horizontal. All three crosses exist in the same time-space, but the changing from the mutable, to the fixed, to the cardinal represent the soul's journey as the veil's are lifted from the 'past'. Depending on the soul's evolution, the cross as defined by a journey is dictated prior to incarnation but the soul still needs to experience the transitions as a human being. Personality as defined by human experience is a very difficult projection to understand and therefore transitioning from the mutable to fixed doesn't usually start to occur until at least between 25 years of age. And movement from the fixed to the cardinal doesn't begin integration until at least 30-40 years though usually the older the soul is, the earlier their transition will be. If you want to understand the crosses more and how the individual moves from personality centered to soul centered, you should read up on two things that are inter-related and though connected, are expressed in different perspectives. The first is the 'veiling' of the Moon, whereby the energy of Vulcan is required to eliminate the Moon as a personality veil, and the second is on Esoteric Astrology's three initiation's and how the vehicles of the physical, emotional and mental need not just be understood, but controlled before the soul can inherit it's true philosopher's stone. Note: The explanations on the crosses are my own understanding and may differ from other theoretical explanations so don't take it as the official definition. IP: Logged |

the angles are essentially your cross. I don't have a cross because my asc/dsc is mutable and MC/IC is fixed.IP: Logged |

Ellynivx was just outlining the Signs and their mutable/fixed/cardinal attributes, not that one was more spiritual than the other. The crosses of the soul don't tie directly to the signs of the zodiac - every sign is as spiritual as another, it's the level of consciousness being expressed through the sign. IP: Logged |

By the Classic Planets, you have a Cardinal T-Square.
Only Pisces/Sag in the second. IP: Logged |

Ohhhh t-squares...that's what I was talking about too. Silly me. ETA: Though if I count the minor planet Haumea, I do have a mutable grand cross. And if I count my MC, I have a fixed grand cross. IP: Logged |

You just reminded me of my error. I was thinking of t-squares when the OP was talking about grand crosses. IP: Logged |

I'm actually not familiar with the genre.I'm assuming that's what Cross refers to in this form of Astrology. Because if it is Angles, he has them Fixed. IP: Logged |
