Thanks for the insight Lotis and the link, Chiemi. However, those cafeastrology interpretations don't do justice to semisextiles, IMO. It's hard to believe an aspect related to 12 and 12th harmonics is that "minor", since the zodiac itself is an integration of 12. A semi-sextile is more like a conjunction between two adjacent signs. To be honest, I'm beginning to doubt if there are really such things as "minor" aspects after all. Of course, we first look at the first 4 harm., but the so called "minor" aspects can be very "specialized", so to speak. It all depends on the POV; for example, I've started looking in depth at some 7th harmonics comparisons for my connections with whom so called "psychic" elements are involved: dreams, telepathy etc. The 7th harmonics (septile being an astral connection/astral abilities) should figure strongly and so far, it does. So if you want to study this issue, the septile, which might be minor at first glance, becomes a major aspect and tells us more about these connections than the natal aspects within the first 4 harmonics.

I have Venus semisextile Uranus to the minute.

I love weirdos. I also have Aquarius on the DSC. Small wonder that my husband has sun conjunct Uranus.

I have Mars semi-sextile Jupiter.
Both planets are domicile and in an angular house (4th House).

The sign behind often feels they can learn something from the sign ahead, the sign ahead's way of being strikes them more 'advanced' in some way (not to be confused with better). The sign ahead is the theoretical 2nd house to sign behind. So to the sign behind the next sign may appear to 'have' something special that it takes to get ahead. Meanwhile the sign ahead looks back towards the sign behind with understanding and compassion for their foibles. They 'get' why the sign behind is the way that they are, may see them as vulnerable, and want to protect them in a way. The sign behind is the 12th house to the sign ahead. The sign ahead tends to be accepting and tolerant towards the sign behind.

I like this, and it makes sense. Thanks Lotis

I would also like to add that since the signs are right next to each other, they exhibit a lot of very similar qualities from each other, but have their major differences as well, so this is another reason why it's a semi-sextile, and not a sextile.
