What aspects give a person that alluring, magnetic--almost hypnotic affect on people? Some people are just spellbounding--they MUST have some sort of aspect! You know, that I can't get this person out of my mind--or that feeling of being addicted to them? Or even that energy you feel when the person instantly energizes you... IP: Logged |

i think it greatly depends on the synastry. while you might be hypnotized by someone, they could go totally unnoticed by someone else.for me, i find myself instantly intrigued by people with neptune touching my moon. but in general, people with venus or neptune on their asc are probably pretty alluring to most. Good point...it'd be good to know what are the synastry aspects for those more personal experiences-- And then the ones the masses feel (ex. Neptune on ASC). IP: Logged |

Magnet, think about it. What planet when it is conjunct the Ascendant gives a magnetic personality? Uranus------------------

venus conjunct ascendant = attractive and magneticvenus trine pluto = magnetic pluto conjunct ascendant = intense, not necessary good if pluto is badly aspected I find charisma more mind-blowing that being attractive. you could have elusive charm like venus-neptune fellow. But i awas so impressed the day i saw guy pearce for the first time in L.A confidential exuding so much confidence like some sort of intellectual charisma, kick ass smart eyeglasses, with perfect determined with that clear-cutted diamond face. even his walk attitude in the movie Rules of engagement just full of grace when he first appeared in the scene, so badass... he has moon conjunct mercury in the 8th house so he must be this combination that bring that boss streak. Some people with great jupiter could be good also.their optimism draw people to them. IP: Logged |

Ketu in the firstRahu in the first (Ketu in the first is stronger for this) Venus conjunct asc tends to make the person's face attractive which can sometimes be mistaken for magnetism. IP: Logged |

I am very pluto and mars influenced so a mysterious mars-Neptune opposition or Neptune in contact to personal planets along with scorpionuc aspects (mars-pluto, Moon-pluto, etc) in someone's chart gets me every time.. especially if he already has Scorpio or Taurus placements. Mars in hard aspect to Neptune wouldn't probably be first pick to a lot of people, but I've read that this aspects adds a flair is mystery to a person even though they're susceptible to lying. Surely you have. Marilyn Monroe, George Clooney, Christover Reeve, Jennifer Aniston Elizabeth Taylor.... All these people reached iconic status because of their magnetic quality upon the masses. IP: Logged |

So what aspect/s do they all have in common? IP: Logged |

In the cases above? These all happen to have Ketu in the first I think, but the birth times of a couple of them are in debate. IP: Logged |

@ visions - I have mercury conjunct moon in the 8th house, as well as Jupiter trine sun, moon, and mercury. I don't feel like I have a lot confidence and I would say I am meek. I feel very pushed down in life by others. IP: Logged |

With MC, I use tighter orbs---but who knows--perhaps! IP: Logged |

While I agree that it would be more of a synastry matter, I'll still add some of my 2 cents I have Neptune and Uranus trine my Ascendant Pluto opposite Ascendant Venus semi-square Asc Mars opposite Neptune Neptune/Uranus conjunct MC Venus sextile MC Mars trine Pluto Moon opposite Pluto While a lot of these placements aren't in the exact aspect (square, conjunct, etc) that were listed above, I've found that I do tend to come off as what people have listed. Have you ever had a feeling that someone kept looking at you, and every time you'd look at them, they'd look away? And you just kind of knew they were going to or wanted to say something to you? I get that all the time. People always come up to me and talk to me, even if I've got headphones in or I'm with a group of people. If they need money, directions, or just to vent about their day, the weather, how long the train is taking. Many smile while walking past me when we make eye contact. I've met many people who kind of just stared at me, and it made me a bit insecure after a while because they just kept staring. I thought I might have had something on my face or just looked horrid that day. Then, I noticed they would try and get my attention. Drop hints that they wanted me to join into their conversation, or make jokes and look at me to see if I've laughed. I've never understood why, but I just chalked it up to a synastry aspect. Guess I know now. Lol. IP: Logged |

It could be a combination of aspects and usually most likely is. It seems to be people with prominently placed Venus, mars, Pluto, Jupiter, and Uranus. Of course major aspects from any one of these to the big 3 (sun, moon, rising sign) will make one more magnetic, and aspects between each other will top, etc.IP: Logged |

Wonderful thread...Perhaps, Venus and Mars conjunction specially if it conjuncts ascendant or aspects ascendant. Or Venus conjunct Pluto aspecting ascendant... or Mars conjunct Pluto aspecting ascendant Also perhaps ascendant conjunct pluto and jupiter tightly.

lalalinda, I applaud your way with me. #Flattery I think I've posted on quite a few threads with similar subject. If the person in question is only attractive to, let's say, ScorpieScorp, then it's a matter of synastry. If the same person gets "I get that they're magnetic but I am not attracted to them" or "they are awful (personality) " or people have any other bias towards them, I am likely to look for the natal markers. 1)Sun - Sun conj Venus, Leo Rising & Moon, Sun conj H1/7 ruler = Sun is The Charisma. Not entirely on subject, but while we're at it... 2)Pluto - on Asc, on Sun, hard aspects = the great magnet and also the great repeller 3)Neptune - on Venus, on Moon = the shapeshifter whose energy you enjoy because you can project all you want 4)Mars - Agent Provocateur, in aspect to Sun, Jupiter; Neptune, Pluto 5)Venus is lovely, but not divisive. You need a strong impression. Uranus is awesome to those who love Uranus. A. Jolie - Venus Sq Uranus, exact. Something to ponder over. There. Your devilish plan is working, lalalinda. IP: Logged |
