With all of the love and synastry threads going around I've yet to see any about this aspect. I feel it is the #1 in synastry and glues the whole relationship together IF you have other harmonious synastry together. Also I really think it helps when there's a double whammy involved, both are on the same boat and share the same or similar feelings. Anyone else experience it? Did the relationship move really quickly?? Any opinions or thoughts? EDIT I'm aware of it ending just as quick as it started.DF has the trine and I have the conjunct and I think it absolutely explains a ton! IP: Logged |

i would not call it glue, because it can end as fast as it started. I had this - exact conjunct - with my last bf and it was "love at first sight" (for me, the venus person). very exciting aspect, but too many ups and down and breaks in the togetherness to make this a happy aspect, imo. we lasted 2.5 years, but not because of this aspect. the relationship did move very fast after we first met - not sexually necessarily, but in wanting to get to know each other right off, spend time together, etc. IP: Logged |

I had a double-whammy of sorts with my first love..My Venus square his Uranus
His Venus trine my Uranus
He hid his feelings a lot so I can't exactly tell you what he felt for me. It picked up immediately. I met him and I knew we were going to be something special. I'd never felt like that for anyone before, and haven't felt like that for anyone since. Wasn't "love at first sight" because I don't exactly believe in it, but more so lust at first sight.
The relationship did move very quickly. I went to one of his baseball games (he played for our high school, so this was when I first saw him), he messaged me on myspace (this was way back in the day lol) about a month later, after me going to a few more of his games. We immediately began talking as if we'd been best friends for years. We always had a great flow of conversation. Our "situationship" lasted for about 5/6 years. He was the first person I ever fell in love with and the only person to date. I've read a little bit about the Venus/Uranus aspect and many consider it the "love at first sight" aspect, where you automatically feel something for the other person. I don't know who would feel it more, but it always seemed as if I cared more for him than he did for me. I personally like it. I don't think I've had this aspect with anyone else that I've been romantically involved with or interested in ever since. I also haven't witnessed the initial passion and quick-paced relationship ever since. My Venus Aries loved the quickness of it all, and the constant change in what we were, how we spoke/if we spoke, etc. It was very hot and cold. IP: Logged |

Its an ultra magnetic aspect. Definitely a love at first sight.
For long term relationships, there must be some strong Saturn aspects in the synastry to counter balance the unexpected.

@IV XXIV I like it too. I mean obviously the whole synastry plays a huge role but I dunno why this one always stood out for me. A lot of what you said sounds a lot like DF and I's relationship. I didn't believe in love at first sight either until I saw him. I'm so corny I know  This is what his love does to me lol. It makes me sound so romantic and cancerish. Venus and Pluto are awesome too. That's like the only one we don't have lol. I absolutely agree with only venus/Uranus creating that. I feel all of the others create or stir up the passion and anger pots. I can't even imagine how hard that had to have been for you. You seem like you overcame it though which is always wonderful. I hate breakups. They are so physically and emotionally draining.

Doesn't make you sound corny  I remember, there were sides to me that came out when I was with him that I never knew existed! I'm not romantic in the slightest but I would've done anything in the world for him. He just "had" me like that. My Cancer mars ate it up as well... But I hated the vulnerability and control he had over my emotions. Thankfully, you and DF seem to have much better holistic synastry, so it wouldn't be as wacky as mine was. I have Uranus/ Venus DW with someone...
My Uranus 4 57 Libra trine his Venus 4 51 Aqua
His Uranus 23 47 Scorp sq my Venus 25 32 Leo
Unfortunately, he doesn't seem to be feeling it.
i definitely think Uranus is underrated in synastry. I'm pretty crazy for him and his Uranus aspects a lot of my chart so I think that is the culprit:

I have in my synastry an exact Venus-Uranus conjunction 0.00 degree and the two planets are also parallel each other ; a true conjunction. Luckily, my Saturn exactly opposes his Sun and trines his Mars. We have been inseparable for the past 16 years.
Maybe that's the secret combo because we do have some serious Saturn going on as well. Congrats on your 16 years that's beautiful. You hardly even see a year now which is just sad to me.

I think it is overlooked because people think it's a little scary. Most people think it means it won't last but it can also mean that things stay exciting (can even be kinky).As for the square, I'm rethinking my opinion on squares. I've been studying the charts of my friends and they are almost all in square and opposition to me yet we get along great. I think we need squares and oppositions to grow. IP: Logged |

My Leo and I mirror each other. He has Venus conjunct and his Moon sextile Uranus in Libra. I have Sun and Uranus conjunct Libra. My Venus Saggi Venus sextiles Aqua 5H Jupiter and his Saggi Moon conjuncts my Venus. Umm, BIG FUN.------------------
