I have virgo sun in 4th, I don't really know actually… but one thing is for sure, cause I found out while I was studying…I cannot work at home, my home feels as a "sacred" place, where I'm only home for relaxing… my home is a place to relax, and if I'm going to work, it needs to be outside the house. I don't consider myself a homebody, though I love to relax and I feel safe in my home, but I actually prefer not to be there to much, cause there always seems to be some problems also. My brother has a Taurus sun in the 4th, which is the apex of a Yod. He's mostly always been more involved with family/family matters than friends, a lot like me though mine's in the 3rd. He's not incredibly close to family anymore since ours has become so dysfunctional. But I would say Sun in the 4th definitely makes a big core of your life centered around family and home. Not me, I have almost nothing to do with my family, and I got 3 planets in 4th house…Actually I never understood why this placement should bring you closer to your family, cause I'm far from it, and I like my friends 10 times more than my family. IP: Logged |

It seems to me like with someone with Sun in the 4th it's all about home.Astrology really is quite literal isn't it.I guess it is not true in all cases but it seems like the home and home/family life would be very important to them,like they just wouldn't feel secure without a solid home base.Like they feel most themselves at home.They could travel all over the world but coming home is sweet relief.Home is all important,the center of their world.
I may be wrong,but that's just my feeling.
It would be interesting to study the charts of writers and songwriters who write about home and see how many are 4th house suns.Also people who have home-based businesses---
'Home is where the heart is'---I wonder if the author of this quote has a 4th house sun.I don't even know where that quote came from.
They also tend to have some Cancerian characteristics,once again---could be the ultimate homebodies!
Although they may get out and about they always like to get back to their nest.
Jennifer Aniston has a 4th house sun and I always thought of her as being really extroverted all the time and all over the place but a 4th house sun shows she has a quieter private side and is a homebody at heart!IP: Logged |

I have 5 planets in 4th house including Sun, but I’m not attached to home, family at all. I feel very comfortable in solitude and I do look inwards. I don’t find it difficult to socialize, I even enjoy it at times but I’ve realized that it’s not my inner need, I don’t feel empty if I stop doing it. But I’m not focused on security, home, family, anything like that at all.IP: Logged |
