And destiny schmestiny... It's still pointless to do imo. It's like getting a free house.... You pick the country (sun sign) but you won't know if it's a good city or bad city.... Cold or hot. I chose nothing about my life until I grew up. I was born in a place, as a race, in a certain family, etc. I dealt with it. I made the most of it and I'll do the same with my children. They will be born... Whenever they happen to... And we'll go from there. IP: Logged |

No matter what the sign I've found that children always have connective aspects with parents. For example... My Sag daughter has Virgo rising same as me. Her ASC/Uranus cj my Moon, her Ceres cj my Vertex, Saturn cj Venus. SN cj ASC and Pluto. Her Mercury, Moon, Pluto and Sun in my 4th. Mars and Amor cj IC. I have yet to come across any children that don't share some important aspects with parents.

If I hadn't been given a pisces son, I would still think all of them were emotional wrecks that avoided because they couldn't make decent decision to save their lives, lied way to much, acted like everything was ok no back as they passive aggressively did horrible things you might find out about it a few years later. But now I see they get their self by being self sacrificing. They only turn to the darkside when they lose hope! It's easy to keep a pisces happy and healthy just spend alone time with them and show your interested and care about what they care about. They respond to love quicker than any other sign I've ever seen, they can go from hard n distant to open and hopeful instantly from just a 5 minute conversation...just show them you care! I saw a candle once that said, "Pisces will always be kinder to the world than the world will be to a pisces" I see what they are saying now ....since I've seen a pisces grow into a kind hearted young man. Their is no bad sign, the only problem is that most ppl don't have parents that help them understand themselves, help them foster their strengths and work through their weaknesses. If nobody teaches you those things you learn skills that are not always attractive...it's not a particular signs issue it's a human issue. Do a good job raising a sign thats hard for you to deal with, support them, grow to understand them and make them happy and your the one that will become a better person. I think it's one way destiny wakes some ppl up and forces them to outgrow rigid patterns of judgement based on incorrect assumptions.

My Aunt is Pisces sun and she cannot stand making any decisions. She makes them eventually but she hates it and it's a major drama.IP: Logged |

Ya...I've seen qualities like that in my son, it's those things you have to help them overcome. Set up situations where they have opportunities to make decisions and reward them for doing it. If they are raised with an aware parent their best qualities can be brought out instead of the worst ones. Personally I feel that is the best way to use astrology, regarding children at least. I've considered it. I do have preferences regarding children and behavioral traits associated with signs. I'd prefer either a Virgo, Scorpio or Capricorn if I had my choice, Sun sign wise anyways. I seem to meld best with those signs so it should make parenting a tiny bit more tolerable.IP: Logged |

I think people who plan things down to the little details like that are more than a little fanatical. Some do similar stuff with chinese astrology, they pick a good day/hour for a good chart, then bribe the doctor for meds that would stimulate early birth n whatnot. It can get pretty extreme. With your own child it's easy to do with my Aunt, she only trusts certain people with advice, others she thinks are not informed enough and she doesn't trust their input. She doesn't like for anyone but her chosen few to provide input or actually make a decision. It's complicated. She also has Scorpio moon so it's all about who has control. It's a process with her, I think.

NO, it's far better to plan a child you won't get along with.Don't be ridiculous. IP: Logged |

Well they say people are supposed to plan their families anyway so why not astrologically plan if you are going to do it anyway?IP: Logged |

I did not read this entire thread. Your kid(s) are to teach you. I taught my own mother. We gain wisdom from our babes.------------------ Claire "When going gets weird, the weird turn pro." -HST IP: Logged |

Ive considered it, definitely! At this point, I would be happy with any child born to my fiance and I at any time bc im not sure that I can even have children... But if I was a super fertile woman like some that I know I would choose to have a baby with a fire or air sun in about 7-10 degrees of any of those signs. Preferably with an earth moon, like cap for instance. That would put their sun in trine/sextile/or oppostion with mine and my fiance's venuses and a mid to late cap moon would trine both our moons. Tell me that wouldnt be a beautiful loving relationship between parents and child... I dont see a problem with it, personally. It's no different from choosing when to not have a child, ie birth control or abortion. IP: Logged |
