Do you know some celebrities that made you think "Holy christ, he/she has a really difficult chart, how can they be so successful?"If you do know any, I'd like to know about it, so I can study their charts! And I mean - REALLY difficult, like with many t-squares, stelliums, afflicted planets, intercepted signs, oppositions and squares all over the place, and afflicted house-rulers (especially in 5th and 11th house) I got all of the above, and feel my life is pretty…..uhm… difficult! I don't know about the whole chart but a really nasty placement to have is Saturn in the 4th house.Sorrows and affliction in the home and childhood. It's like there is a dark cloud over your entire childhood somehow although of course you may have had some good moments too,but overall there is a lot of pain there, sad experiences, loneliness, abandonment, etc.I have this placement,in Capricorn no less, which has some pluses as far as being responsible, practical, etc but it can be emotionally cold.It does not make for a carefree childhood.I remember a friend asking me 'Did you have a happy childhood?" I thought of hers, where she had a loving closeknit family with nothing bad ever happening as far as I could tell--I did not have that.So it was like no..... Some celebrities I can think of with this placement are---Madonna,Marilyn Monroe, and Judy Garland.Madonna lost her mother at an early age,and I think she is still affected by it----we all know about Marilyn Monroe's childhood, raised in an orphanage, etc, just super depressing.A sad and lonely childhood can take a lifetime to heal, for these people it really never left them,so with those kind of circumstances to overcome,it could be hard to see how successful they became. So I would look for lonely cold old Saturn in the 4th house----the house of the home, where you should be happiest----IP: Logged |

Yeah at least I don't have that placement… but I have mars in the 4th, which points to conflicts in the home, and that is awful too. I also have saturn in the 6th, and I always have trouble with finding a nice job… I have so many squares and oppositions everywhere in my chart that all my rulers are afflicted, except venus, but I have venus in scorpio which is enough trouble in itself anyways. But I'm gonna look up on madonnas chart! IP: Logged |

Saturn in the 3rd house is pretty annoying.Constricted Arms, constricted mind, slow speaker, but good concentration and depth of mind. IP: Logged |

Oh god yes! I can at least attest for tSaturn in 4H, that also keeps rx ing over and over my IC. .. It's been very painful emotionally, especially dealing with my parents and their neverending conflicts. I feel as I will never be free from this sh1t but apparently after the 4th things go towards brighter pastures...I have been standing face to face with my deepest fears about future and also old memories. It's been horrible

I don't have a good example right now, but I'm always a bit surprised when I see a successful celebrity with a weak or badly affected Jupiter. I know the connection is not that straight-forward, but still.IP: Logged |

Umm! Her Jupiter and Sun conj. my Mercury and Vertex. Her Mercury conj my Mars exact Her Moon, MC and Venus conj. my Sun, the last two by <1°. Her Ura and Pluto conjunct my Pluto (I'm 1 year older than her minus 2 weeks) Interestingly enough she does nothing for either my moon or my venus, which must be why I never followed her much. Back on topic, she is one giant Mercurial square looking for a place to happen... All Gemini and Sag (and most anyone else) from around late 63 through 65 have some inner planets aspecting off that Uranus/Pluto opp Saturn thing going on, especially since Saturn went retro right in the middle of it. By her time,Saturn was on the way out of it, but Mars was there giving it just a little more strength at the end. Edit: and back off topic... In late 63 Kennedy was shot. The world knew everything was about to change (Uranus moving to conjunct Pluto) but tried to hold on to the way things were just a little longer (Saturn in opposition, and in Pisces at the end of the Piscean age). ^Agreed on MJ. Pluto-Merc in 4th - verbally abusive family environment. Pluto-Sun in 4th - tyrannical father--Childhood-- Have you seen my Childhood? I'm searching for the world that I come from 'Cause I've been looking around In the lost and found of my heart... No one understands me They view it as such strange eccentricities... 'Cause I keep kidding around Like a child, but pardon me... People say I'm not okay 'Cause I love such elementary things... It's been my fate to compensate, for the Childhood I've never known... Have you seen my Childhood? I'm searching for that wonder in my youth Like pirates in adventurous dreams, Of conquest and kings on the throne... Before you judge me, try hard to love me, Look within your heart then ask, Have you seen my Childhood? People say I'm strange that way 'Cause I love such elementary things, It's been my fate to compensate, for the Childhood I've never known... Have you seen my Childhood? I'm searching for that wonder in my youth Like fantastical stories to share The dreams I would dare, watch me fly... Before you judge me, try hard to love me. The painful youth I've had Have you seen my Childhood... IP: Logged |

Steve Jobs didn't have it easy either. Grand Cross, unaspected Moon, afflicted, RETRO Mercury as ruler of ASC and MC.. He and I share some stuff, especially that Jup-Uranus conjunction in the 10th.. Hmm if only I'd be interested in technology.
