Apparently, we are cousins to Scorpios but i don't know.

I also have Pluto in the 1st house, Moon conjunct Pluto, and Sun in the 8th house. Not trying to say i have Scorpionic attributes but i do have some really intense emotions and i do crave intimacy. I also have been told many times that i have a very intimidating or intense look lol.

They tend to view words, communication, writing, speaking as powerful mediums /instruments of transformation. So they tend to be very aware of the intrinsic power of the tongue.

As such,you are not likely to find them spewing rubbish or talking out of their a**. They seem to choose their words wisely and be keenly aware of gestures and any unspoken dialogue.

These people may also put a lot of value in transportation systems,the use of cell phones,social networks or media.

They may see these above examples as instrumental agents in uniting people, engaging people and transforming lives etc.

They may come across a lot more thoughtful and painstakingly deliberate in addressing others,but they are still very Gemini.Their minds are very busy and they love playing with words.

This is probably an important attribute to Gemini sun /8th House. Actually , maybe any Sun in 8th house. To understand things at the core comes easier.

Gemini is an eloquent sign, + is also sometimes regarded as the most human sign. The thought process thinks things thoroughly. I find this is like a natural filter I have. I can generally leave things at the surface that are not really of concern but in my personal life I never have and never would accept anything "fake."

If I believe in something, regardless of what is it, I go in all the way. What is "true" is important to me.

I have indeed met myself. Gemini 8th house sun Scorpio rising :-)

Do I act like a Scorpio? Hmmm... There are several Scorpios in my life, including my daughter. I... understand them better than most. They sometimes understand me and sometimes are very confused by me.

I still surround myself with books, communicate well (so I believe), can be witty, air headed, etc. Where the 8th comes in for me is this. I'm always looking for connections and deeper meanings. The trivial bores me. Detail work is torture though I'm good at it if I must. Knowledge is power must have been thought up first by an 8th house Gem... Or a third house Scorp maybe...
