Interesting topic...I still think Pan-Horus befits Taurus as a modern ruler more than Ceres. Pan is a god of shepherds and flocks, whereas Ceres is an agricultural goddess. To me, Ceres seems to have more in common with the Persephone mythology and the agricultural sign of Virgo. However some folks have been putting Ceres through the paces as a candidate for (modern) rulership of Taurus. https://solarsystem.nasa.gov/planets/dwarf-planets/ceres/in-depth/ Has anyone experimented with Ceres? Any thoughts? ...as mankind explores the heavens. Something about these three feels both incomplete or unresolved. Perhaps because these esoteric rulers seem to much more accurately reflect our modern 21st + centuries experience and expression. And so do these three signs- but perhaps aren’t fully reflected due to the reluctance to let go of previous era’s versions of society(sun), resource handling(saturn), wars(mars)… Nothing really else to add, just felt called to speak on this 😭💀

My feelings on Ceres have been growing to see their rulership as over the ‘cycle’ rather than a sign itself. Ceres’ orbit is nearly spherical and takes about 4.6 years to get all the way around. 12 signs divided into 4ish years.. and each quadrant holds a typical seasonal transit. Two of life and lush, two of decay and harvest. And naturally the myth around Persephone being away for the winter months— etc. IP: Logged |

Ceres is part of the Moon goddess triade, with Persephone and Hecate. Persephone/Kore is the maiden, Ceres is the mother and Hecate is the wise crone. They are the remnants of an ancient religion before the introduction of patriarchy. Virgo is now solely depicted as the maiden, but I wouldn’t be surprised if in much older times, Virgo was associated with the entire Moon triade. Healing and magic, attributes of Hecate, have also been connected to Virgo. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triple_Goddess_(Neopaganism) https://www.crystalinks.com/triplegoddess.html https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hecate

I agree. In my own point of view Isis rules over Libra (at least for now).
