its feels transformative but in a very positive way. it is still intense and sexual, but its just not the negative side of all that. the bright side of love seems to become deeper but in the best way possible. i know someone with venus trine pluto and she had a passionate true love with someone in her teens. they didn't make it but still. I can confirm this.  Venus in Cancer trine Pluto in Scorpio here.
I also feel my emotions are triggers for deep transformations and I have a natural instinct to follow my gut which is always right. I used to be super jealous and possessive with my boyfriends when I was a teenager, so I think these issues can still be present with the trine, but they seem easier to deal with. Nowadays I am free of those issues. I grew up and gained more self-confidence. I am not possessive at all or even jealous even though I do have Moon in Taurus opp Pluto. I think this Venus aspect helps me with charisma too and I find very easy to influence/convince people if I really want to. IP: Logged |

yeah.. sounds great. kind of like metamorphosis from beast to beauty. when we overcome the negativity and embrace the gifts. but without the beast we cannot be the beauty. IP: Logged |

I'd agree with that, I feel it emphasizes sensuality and at a younger age - angst and emotionally destructive behaviour - or maybe that's just because mine are in water. heh IP: Logged |

Hah, I actually just wrote a blog article about Venus-Pluto aspects! It's so funny that every time I write one of those articles, a subject about it seems to pop up on here.But, check it out in my signature and see if it resonates. And it's no coincidence that I call Venus-Pluto aspects "the love spell" in the article.  ------------------

Funnily enough, just found out that I have this aspect with a long term friend of mine; but it's a DW.My pluto trines his venus, but my venus opposes his pluto. Our venus' sextile too. However, I think my quickness to put him in his place overshadows our ability to really take advantage of the trine. In our younger days, our relationship felt really deep and intimate. He was literally my no.1 and trust him with everything and him me. IP: Logged |

thats what I'm experiencing now. my pluto opposes his venus and his pluto,saturn, and mars sextile my venus/mercury. double whammy seems so intense! the opposition gives some spice while the sextile gives a little more harmony. lol. IP: Logged |

venus trine pluto is definitely intense when it comes to love and passion.
im getting on with a girl right now and she said shes never experienced anything with such intensity. her scorp loves it.

I have this, along with the moon (conjunct Venus). I think it can add to emotional warmth. I think it added to the way I would write my way through emotional things, I used to do that a lot. This would help me to approach the other person (if there was one) with a level head, or allow me to wait things out. I also have Venus sextile Jupiter. I can briefly have mean thoughts, but I don't sit around wishing karma on people. I'm not thrilled when what's considered karma, catches up with someone. It can be upsetting when someone is having a good time after they really hurt you, but I've found that finding out they're also in pain, or dealing with stressful circumstances, doesn't make me feel good at all. It doesn't do anything to make my life any better, you just get to stop resenting the idea of all of the fun they might be having. IP: Logged |

Unfortunately, intensity is pretty much a given thing in any aspect where Pluto is involved  , but another good word to associate with this placement would be "transformation." People with Venus Pluto aspects look towards relationships as avenues of personal transformation and growth. Depending upon the nature of the relationship, this transformation could either be positive or negative. Be thankful that its not as harsh as a Conjunction that some of us have to deal with .
