It is three or more planets in a square, quincunx and trine interlocking aspect. Also called a 3-4-5 Triangle.I'll be posting interpretations shortly. For starters: quote: Quincunxes often describe a sense of humour – the ability to see the funny side of life in almost all circumstances – so they regularly appear in the charts of comedians. This is particularly emphasised if the quincunx is involved in a Pythagorean triangle (three or more planets in a square, quincunx and trine interlocking aspect) the type of humour is shown by the planets involved in the configuration.

So, does the a-squared with the b-squared equal the c-squared of the planets involved?IP: Logged |

Yes! A+Then you worship the answer. (Joke -> because Pythagoras and his crew worshipped numbers...) IP: Logged |

WAIT so does my triangle of Moon quincunx Pluto and Moon quincunx Chiron and Chiron trine Pluto count?Because that would make so much sense EDIT: Oh wait it's a sextile! It's a Yod! I never understood what a Yod was. Edit: Ok I found two. Sun/Mercury trine Moon, Moon quincunx Chiron, Sun/Mercury square Chiron
Mars trine Moon, Moon quincunx Pluto, Pluto square Mars. I'll be your guinea pig

Whew, that's great, because I am having trouble finding information on this. So far I've just found "sense of humor." (In first link.) You are obviously funny. Now... What else can you tell us? Do you have any hunches about how these play out in your chart/life? IP: Logged |

Hehe.. Let me see..Mars trine Moon, Moon quincunx Pluto, Pluto square Mars. Mars in 1H, Moon in 9H, Pluto in 4H I rebelled a lot growing up to meet my emotional/spiritual needs... I made a lot of comical mistakes and have funny stories to tell from it? I definitely got myself into a LOT of trouble, so I became very good at getting myself out of it. That would be the "Problem solving" suggested in that article. Sun/Mercury trine Moon, Moon quincunx Chiron, Sun/Mercury square Chiron
Sun/Merc in 5H, Moon in 9H, Chiron in 2H The best I can come up with is that I experience a lot of emotional pain that I make light of and express through art. I am good at using the pain constructively now. Problem solved. I DO think most things can ultimately be laughed off.. I do it to myself, so naturally I would do it to others. I've had problems with it in relationships because it could seem like I did not empathize, but I just had to learn to communicate the underlying empathy better.
This is fun!

the magi also call it mystical triangle. In fact in Mr Sags and my meeting chart the tightest formation is such a triangle, consisting of Sun, Moon, Saturn and pluto. Yeah I like it exhausting. lol Moon 1 Capricorn Pluto 0 Capricorn
Sun 2 Gemini Saturn 2 Virgo IP: Logged |

I've been told funny and humorous all my life! It looks like I have many mystic triangles:Sun/Moon/Mercury Stellium in Pisces 3H (quincunx) MC (trine) Chiron in Gemini 6H (square) Stellium - I guess this would be 3 triangles cuz it's a stellium...? I definitely love to joke around, say funny remarks and make ppl laugh! This helps me a lot at what I do at work as well - I see different patients everyday and my motto is to make their visits as fun and enjoyable as possible. No one likes to visit hospitals right?? Stellium in 3H (trine) Pluto/Vesta conj. in Scorpio 11H (square) Vertex in Leo 8H (quincunx) Stellium - do we include Vertex?? Then I have another 3 triangles here. I love dirty jokes and use them all the time!! I think I have more tolerance for these types of jokes than some girls.. LOLOL I wonder if it's the Pluto and 8H influence... HAHAHAH Stellium (square) Saturn in Scorpio 12H (trine) Vertex (quincunx) Stellium - 3 more triangles! Would these triangles contribute to my sarcastic remarks?? LOLOL Neptune in Capricorn 1H (square) MC (trine) Chiron (quincunx) Neptune - now this triangle.. I don't know what this means... I think this is all I can find for now.. I kept the orbs tight (under 3 degs). IP: Logged |

But...but....your chart is like 80% Pythagorean triangles! Whew, glad I told you then. Welcome to our club. IP: Logged |

YES You are funny! See, astrology is always true. Maybe 80% was too high...six of your planets form these overlapping triangles...so, 50%. Cannot find information but here's something about the numerology of the 3-4-5 (trine-square-quincunx) pattern: http://www.asiact.org/archive/numerology/13triangles.asp

Fact-finding.... quote: ....President Kennedy is also born at an amazing and perhaps peculiar time. Both Mercury and Uranus are stationary, not moving on his day of birth, from the Earth's vantage point! Mercury had just turned stationary direct a few hours before his birth. Uranus had just turned stationary retrograde a few hours before his birth. How many people that you know are born right on the day of a station? I suppose not many. JFK had both planets not moving! When planets are stationary, their influence on Earth--for good or ill or both!--is enhanced enormously. And these are the planets of conscious thought and intuition, communication and the higher mind. JFK was also born at an almost precise Jupiter-Uranus square, from 23+ Taurus to 23+ Aquarius. Keep these three planets--Mercury, Jupiter and Uranus--in mind as they will surface later on in this story in a remarkable way..... The Assassination of the President TO ASSASSINATION CHART In astrological circles, the birthchart for the assassination of JFK has been studied meticulously--particularly back in the 1970s, when I first began my professional work in the field. One of the most astounding features of this map is the Pythagorean Figure or Triangle (3-4-5 triangle)--composed of Jupiter at 9+ Aries, Uranus at 9+ Virgo and Mercury at 9+ Sagittarius! Now remember earlier in this article I mentioned the power of these three planets at JFK's birth? Think about it! The President goes on a long trip (Jupiter) and as he is riding in a motorcade (Mercury), shots ring out in shocking (Uranus) fashion and he is gunned down, presumably by one or more marksmen with rifles (Uranus).

Yes. But, I don't think the Pythagorean Triangle is spooky. I don't feel spooky, do you? But....I think it's interesting, this triangle is in the event chart for the assassination. AND it's in the composite between JFK's natal chart and the event: Sun 3 Virgo Uranus 1 Sag Jupiter 1 Taurus Jupiter = chart ruler and dispositor of Uranus Also, composite has: 7 Taurus Saturn 8 Leo Pluto Converted into 3-4-5 Triangle with tr Mercury, 8 Sag JFK's draconic Mars at 7 Leo. I forget which point of these triangles is the apex...I wonder if that's the apex, the planet that is trine one and square another. A little off topic, I can't believe how tightly Mars is conjunct the ASC in this chart, and Mars is in a t-square with the sun and Uranus. Another odd thing, Kennedy was a Gemini, his heliocentric Mercury at 1 Cap, tr helio Mercury at 1 Cap when he was shot. Well I could go on and on...wayyyy off topic. IP: Logged |

Are these configurations hereditary? Or just common? My mother, daughter, and son all have tight 3-4-5 triangles: Mother: sun-Mars-Uranus Me: sun-Mars-Pluto Daughter: sun-Saturn-Uranus Son: sun-Saturn-Neptune ETA: Only one of siblings has this; a few overlapping triangles including the sun. Keeping orbs tight. ETA #2: Transits here & now~ 16 Leo moon 15 Cap Pluto, 14 Cap Mercury 16 Aries Uranus
