I think they remain friends with their exes because of their inability to shut the door so to speak. Unlike Scorpios, they can't cut someone off and never look back.

I have a Taurus ex who remained friends with his exes. I cut him off sharp and he still managed to contact me two years later to "remain friends" because I was the only one of his exes who wouldn't accept his friendship. I was the one who "broke up" with him and although I felt bad for hurting his feelings, I don't remain friends with my exes.

I have a Pisces ex who also can't let go of his exes, he's still friends with them (except me). He has an Aqua Venus and a Cancer Moon. Fixed placements make it hard to fully let go of someone you once had feeings for.

They usually remain friends with they exes and don't initiate anything. They're not the type to keep people around as "options". They can be friends with you but have zero "romantic" feelings for you. Usually, if they still like/love you, they'll let you know. They're pretty sraight forward. If they don't tell you, then the feelings may be gone.

However, as a fixed sign (Scorpio), I know that once I lose the feelings I had, I can't go back. The feelings never came back again. The feelings only "resurface" if they still "love" you (you'll know).

The fact that they're friends with you is irrelevant. Watch their actions.

You also have to take into consideration their Venus and Moon which have a strong impact on their emotions.

I have Taurus Moon. I don't know if that is the reason I can easily slip back into sexual relationships with my exes. I know I can't be in a committed relationship with my exes, but if the sex was good, it's much easier to have a fling with an ex than a stranger. In fact, that might be the only time I sleep with someone with whom I know things aren't gong anywhere long term. This isn't a habit of mine. I just know this about myself. That is why I stay away from my exes.

From what i've heard there wasnt alot if sex between them, very platonic, that why he called it 'unhealthy' relationship and he was unhappy..

I think it's a kind of stability. When I feel neglected in a relationship, I take a strange solace in something which caused deep feelings but is now less painful. The good bits without the churned up emotions. It's like a prop.

I personally have never stayed friends with someone I hAd feelings for as the exit of the relationship is never smooth - it's more my mind enters those memories as a safety mechanism. But I've noticed Taurus males do it quite well - I think they divest of feelings better and so it can be a comfort and sometimes there's an attraction still but more an ego boosting one than a deep one.

right before they broke up he referred to 'the woman i am in a relationship with' lol like.. Not girlfriend or anything

By "friends", do you mean that they call each other and hang out most of the time?

Because I wouldn't be down with that.I am a little possessive and jealous.It wouldn't fly with me

But if say they are in contact "once in a blue moon", then I think that is better.People should know boundaries.

I wondered as I have 6th house sun but as it's conjunct my DC a lot of my sense of self is experienced through others and losing them can be a very disorientating to my identity.

I wonder if a 12 house feels some form of dispersed self but I don't really know much about 12th house

Weird - I avoided using any specific terms like boyfriend. Maybe in that case, from what you said about it being secretive, it just didn't seem appropriate to the relationship.
