I was watching a video by Steven Forrest and he explained it quite clearly.Using a Venus in Virgo, Mercury in Libra example.

In my case,say my Venus in Scorpio gets suspicious about a lover not calling me back after I have tried getting hold of them many times.

My Mars in Libra calms the tendency of going into resentment by analyzing the many possibilities for their lack to get back to me timeously.

Yes. They are in semi-sextile.

I think your Moon in Libra,Cancer Venus is also a good example of mutual reception.

Libra Moon is rational and likely to filter things from an intelectual perspective- balancing the pros and cons.

Venus in Cancer deepens the expressions by putting in a lot of emotions. So it may add emotions to the manner of expression(air).

An example is that one could get quite emotional reading a beautiful piece of poetry for instance.Or get emotional about seeing something beautiful(as you stated).

The Venus in Cancer gets help from the Moon by being able to express and articulte its feelings.

So here you get a lover who is not just satisfied in responding to their partner's emotional needs(Cancer) or having their own emotional needs validated,but wants to infuse them with intellectual expression.Or have intellectual stimulation from their lover too.

The result is that you tend to refrain from getting over-emotional in love or about relationships. Preferring to keep things light-hearted and balanced.Keeping things from being too "sentimental" but beautiful.

It can be a very confusing mix as you tend to feel(Moon)more emotional than you show(Venus)or would like the lover to express.

This can often give your lover the impression that your feelings don't run deep(Venus square Moon).This is not true at all.

I know exactly what you mean.I see a lot of Scorpio in my Libra Mars and a lot of Libra in my Scorpio Venus.But there is more....

My Moon in water/Mars in air square can also feel like they "swop".

I just read a couple venus in libra interpretations and i was mindblown by how accurate pretty much all of it was!! Literally i am more like venus in libra than i am venus in sagittarius i deff show more libra in toward a girl that i am attracted to than i do sag wow and i do not have any planets in libra other than jupiter,
