i think cancer is a kind evasive sign so they wont be so direct, rather theyd protect their feelings and advance carefully. but do check the draconic mars cus the energy of that sign will merge with the ntal and colour it differently.  IP: Logged |

I have Venus & Mars in Cancer and no we're not usually blunt when flirting. I usually observe closely and read body language until I'm positive my crush likes me back, only THEN will I take action. I have a Sagittarius Moon so i can be pretty blunt, but I don't usually act that way when I'm flirting with a guy I like. I'm very shy, feminine and sweet and stuff lol IP: Logged |

Gotta consider Mercury too as it rules communication. Combine the Sun, Merc, Asc, and Mars signs and aspects and you should get a good understanding on how a person engages in action - which includes flirting.A Cancer Mars with an Aries Sun/Merc or some other forward sign wouldn't be as shy as another combo. Ascendant is also important because that's a general indicator on how we engage. I wouldn't consider Moon but I could be wrong. IP: Logged |

see I think he probably has a Aries rising by how he dresses and acts. He doesn't seem to think before he acts. He has a very boyish atmosphere around him ... I am usually right about rising signs. either that or he has other fire. could that be enough ? his mercury is definitely in Virgo. I need to figure out his actual birthday to find any thing moon related. His sun sign is in Leo though ..... Are leo's blunt in flirting ?IP: Logged |

My dad is a Cancer Mars (Gem Sun/Leo Moon) and my ex was a Cancer Mars with Pisces Sun/Scorpio Moon. I have met a few other Cancer Mars' as well and common denominator is that they are all very assertive until you **** them off, at which point they will hold that grudge until sun sets 5 weeks later..IP: Logged |

I've been reading up on Cancer Mars because the guy that I'm interested in has this. He also has Leo Sun/Mercury, Scorpio Moon, and Virgo Venus. Cancer Mars will not make a move unless they feel sure that the attraction is mutual and the person won't hurt them. They might show their interest in an indirect way, like being attentive and wanting to get to know you, but they are unlikely to show it in a direct way.From the moment I met this guy last summer at his work I knew that he was attracted to me. I saw it in his eyes. Every time I see him we talk for 30-45 minutes, and there is obvious chemistry, but he has not made any attempt to ask me out. I really think it's his Cancer Mars. His Virgo Venus and Scorpio Moon don't help either, because all of these placements are cautious when it comes to relationships. I actually like that about him, because any man that falls at my feet when I first meet him doesn't get my attention or my respect. My chart is mostly Scorpio, a packed Libra 8th house, and Sagittarius Mars, so I like a challenge. My ex was a Cancer Sun, Aries Moon, Gemini Venus, Virgo Mars. We were completely platonic friends for a year, and I knew/sensed that he was interested even though he never really showed it. One day out of the blue he kissed me and declared his love for me...I did not see it coming. I was ready to give up on him, because I'm used to guys being direct about their intentions, but Cancers are more calculated in how they approach situations. We were together for over 14 years. Cancers don't handle rejection well which is why they are so cautious to begin with. I know several Cancer Sun men and they require A LOT of patience to deal with their ever changing moods. They are worse than women with PMS, and extremely passive aggressive. I can only imagine what a handful a Cancer Mars can be, but like I said, I like a challenge.

A leo girl I know who dated 2 cancer sun said that she has to make the go out, like telling them: let's do A, B, CEven the Cancer Mars girls I know are really elusive and they'd hang out if you ask but never initiate. Too bad i tend to meet the ones with Mars onmy south node  ( worse is that our composite Mars would square neptune and uranus I really wish I could find a more direct Mars to hang out with. My Sun is very hidden because I have strong Uranian influences and the standard Cancer energy doesn't really sit well with me. Or it might just be that I am in denial

My ex boyfriend had this placement. He had retrograde Mars in Cancer and it drove me nuts ... his mother and his sister were always doing things for him, running his errands and his life, and it turned out that he expected the same of me. No thanks.IP: Logged |
