I'd agree Pluto is so close to 5th, it would be considered in 5th house, that's powerful to have the ruler of a house in it's house.

Sounds like you like Pluto energy but not in he typical straight forward way.

You both may have handled the challenging aspects better than most.

They can be dangerously delicious and oh-so tempting. But they are very problematic in the hands of volatile personalities coming together. Because they surface issues -especially in the long term.

The more couples stay together with challenging aspects,the more used to them they get and other relationships just feel "tame" in comparison.

This is my experience as well. Woman Mars in hard aspect to man's Venus leads to the woman pursuing the man and apparently men still like to chase, few men like that, unless their Mars is strongly aspected too in the synastry and/or their profile is more submissive. Woman's Mars in hard aspect to man's Venus is a very common aspect in unrequited scenarios for women, due to them pursuing the guy.
