Libras always rub me the wrong way. I like them initially..like that first impression..but that quickly goes downhill as I hang around them more. I don't want to bash Libras and explain what I don't like about them, but I would like to hear some thoughts on why I might not mesh well with them ...I have NO air in my chart..unless you count my Gemini Chiron. I'm all fire and water with a tiny sprinkling of earth. However, I LOVE Aquarians ..Any Aquarius placement will pretty much guarantee that I'll get along with you. Especially Venus or Moon in Aqua. Geminis..eh..they take a little warming up for me, but I do find that I get along well with Gemini men. The women are just OK. But Libras, man, I can't do it. Both the men and women really annoy the living hell out of me. Why? Why would I get along so great with Aquarius and sometimes Gem but not Libra? And it's not just Libra sun. Libra ANYTHING is a turn-off for me. My placements are... Scorp ASC Capricorn Sun Sagittarius Moon & Mercury Scorp Venus Pisces Mars Pisces Jupiter IP: Logged |

Lol... In my case is the opposite.I can't stand Aquarius and freaking luv Librans. You should look at your natal chart for answers. I have a ton of asteroids aspecting my ASC so anything libra makes me go wild. Asc. err? Gemini fall into my 12th house and I love gems! I also really love libra, but I don't get along very often with the Aqua/Leo axis which falls into my 3rd and 8th/9th house. IP: Logged |

You're a super cool mercurial girl. How could you avoid those witty beings.

On a more serious note, would you, by any chance, have love asteroids (VALENTINE (447), EROS (433), PSYCHE (16), JUNO (3)...) in Aquarius and other less love-y ones (NEMESIS (128), LUCIFER (1930)...) in Libra ? Also, is your IC in Aquarius ?IP: Logged |

I'm not sure how long ago it was but there was a thread about planets falling into 12th houses in synastry and it morphed into talking about certain signs falling into your 12th and not feeling comfortable with them. Like for me, I'm not really fond of Leos at all even despite having a leo ascendant (@ 29 degrees) I just don't care for them. Actually I don't want anybody's planets in my 12th house. Just doesn't feel right to me. IP: Logged |

Mmmmm.... It may be something else. My 12th is in Virgo(My sun in the 11th though) and I love Virgos. In any case, Anybody putting their moon on my ASC & Juno is welcome here. ------------------ "If a man does not work passionately - even furiously - at being the best in the world at what he does, he fails his talent, his destiny, and his God." I agree, but other people love them. Depends on the chart, I suppose. IP: Logged |

Oh man, I'm so with you on Libras! They drive me crazy and I'm an Aquarius sun and mercury! I should get along with them, but I just never like them enough to get close to them beyond the social niceties of being acquaintances. I had a lot of Libra moon friends growing up - but that placements was always the thing that drove me the craziest about those friends.I'm mostly fire and water as well, with two prominent air placements, and two earth placements - one being moon. I wouldn't go blaming it on the 12th house. I have a 12th house Libra stellium and love Libras. You'd think I'd mesh well with Aquas, nope can't stand them most of the time. I'm not an Earth fan. We all have things we like and things we don't, that's human nature. If anything I'd blame it on that Cap sun with the two being so different. IP: Logged |

Peluches...My Lucifer is 17 Libra, exactly opposite my NN. I have eros and valentine in Pisces in my 4th house but my 4th house/IC cusp is in Aquarius. I can see why I might really like Aquarians..I feel at home with them. Also, my dad has Aqua moon/ASC so I guess it is familiar. IP: Logged |

Yeah. My guess is that you would dislike all air signs (because of the lack of air in your chart) if it weren't for your Aquarius IC. It's much, much stronger than a familiar feeling. Your IC represents what you really are, deep, deep inside. Other people may easily see your Sun, Moon or ASC in you, but once they get to know you really well, they will notice the IC energy. Or they might not even notice it because it's so deep and intimate. From my experience, the IC energy is how the perfect mix of all your placements gets combined and expresses itself in your mind. For instance, I do have Libran, Virgo (my ASC) and Aquarian characteristics (without being a typical Libra/Virgo/Aqua) with a strong Pisces emphasis, but they will all get mixed up and my Sag IC is what will define my most intimate personality. Libra and Pisces will make up for the dreamy, philosophical side of Sag. Aqua will be the carefree side, etc. That's why a ASC/Moon/Sun - IC conjunction is so nice in synastry. Also, your South Node in Libra (along with Lucifer) might make you feel 'pulled down' by the Libran energy. It might stop you from growing and evolving spiritually, in a way. Let me know if this resonates. IP: Logged |

Frankie, Based off of your particular combination of planets I think I can see why you don't like Libras. IMO, you are probably a down to earth and authentic person and you get put off by libra's superficial and flaky nature. Libras are all nice and fun on the surface but they can be the biggest social snobs and become slaves to popularity. They'll do anything to be seen as cool or hip. Of course this isn't true of all libras, but there is a definite trend there. I'm the same way.... As an Aquarius i'll initially feel chemistry with libras but get put off by the things I mentioned above. IP: Logged |

My reasoning for this (I'm only speaking for myself here) is that the 12th house is the part of yourself that nobody has access to but you, and the only way to describe it is it feels intrusive. They often like to comment on personal stuff about me when I didn't ask for their opinions, because they see things about myself I'd rather not share with the world, specifically the negative things. And they point them out lol Maybe I'm just basing this off of my experience with an old co-worker, who used to confuse me on how he felt about me as I was never sure. I still have dreams about him & I feel like I still have a tie to him, I even asked for advice here on how to break it. So it's not necessarily them as people, but more so how they make me feel. I understand what you mean, babybull. It's tough to pinpoint what exactly could be the culprit when there could be a number of different explanations. I still think it boils down to human nature but that's just me. IP: Logged |

I can see similarities between Sag and Libra - they're both fixed in their opinions, but sensitive. Maybe it's just a case of two yins (or yangs, whatever) instead of yin and yang.I'm not sure I agree about the 12th house because I have Taurus in mine, and it's hit or miss if I like Tauruses. Also another possibility is that those who have an issue with a sign that falls in their 12th house may not trust them. They feel like they can't "see" them for who they really are..if that makes sense. Like the last two guys I was talking to had their Jupiter in my 12th and I just couldn't trust them like...at all. Jupiter is about integrity and honesty and for me, I just couldn't see that side of them. I know it may sound far fetched, but again I'm just basing this off of my own personal experiences. I think cap sun, plain and simple. Caps and Libra are not alike! LOL Just being generic there. I say that and my sister is cap married to a Libra but my cap sister has Libra moon, sooooo... 12th, I think it matters how active it is in your natal and in what way that will determine if you're comfortable with that sign or not. Very easily could cause you not to see them clearly, for who they really are. IP: Logged |

My 12th Is in Sagittarius. For the most part, I am not a fan of sags, but I have a friend at work that is sag Sun with cap moon. We get along great. I am cap asc, maybe that is why. IP: Logged |

I will second that motion. I have many Libran friends and even tried dating a few but that worked out for about 2 minutes. And one 1/2. I find them entertaining on a VERY superficial level and are cool to toss words with. BUT, I must thank Libra for becoming a member of LL Without that particular man I wouldn't have gained the knowledge I have, not saying that is a lot in comparison to some on here, but still!

Love this. My DC is aqua and I am loving the Aqua ICs. I have no air either, just the DC, and I'm the same way with the Libras. I have close Libra friends and a great Libra moon friend but I see the superficial thing happen so much and I don't have it in me to go along with it. My IC is scorpio. I realize it's just an air sign's way of being social and I'm just not meant to be social or please people. I actually admire their ability to bring people together but it does rub me the wrong way often... Mars has a lot to do with my chart, so that could explain something. it's in my first house squaring pluto . My moon is in Aries, ruled by Mars, and my Venus in Scorp is also sorta ruled by Mars..
