It's right on the cusp, actually.  I was asking for the precise degrees of the cusp because I thought they were the exact same as her PLUTO. But... I don't think we can keep cracking our heads on such small details, because her birthtime is not exact anyway. I mean, 9:30 ? Sounds too exact to be 100% true. I think it was rounded off, anyway. In the first chart, Marilyn's Pluto is on the 12th house cusp.In the second chart, the day of Marilyn's death, Pluto is in the 11th house. In the third chart, Marilyn's birth chart is in blue and the chart of her death is in red. No placements changed. IP: Logged |

I think what Ami means is that Pluto's symbol has changed sides (from 11th to 12th). I know the little bar showing the placement has not, but it's right on the cusp, and we want to know in what house it is more likely to be in. IP: Logged |

You are right, P, that the birthtime is not exact. I am hung up on the 12th House placement being different than the 11th. She seems more of a 12th House Pluto, to me.------------------

Ok Back to the chartsChiron conj Jupiter on her day of death. Jupiter multiplies what it touches, for better or worse and it is touching Chiron. Let's see what it does to her chart. ------------------

WOW Jupiter/Chiron in transit squares her Sun/Merc. She has the combust and the combust is one of the hardest aspects in the chart. The person has a hard time detaching from themselves, so everything HURTS, like slights, insults etc.This does not bode for foul play, per se, but her own pain ------------------

To see if there was foul play, put in the asteroids Ixxion and Nessus. I will think of more later------------------

There is a lot of Uranus going on but we need asteroids to see if foul play happened, I think.Also, the asteroids Prey and Plunge. ------------------

Ami, The first chart uses Equal House System (each house cusp throughout the chart is set at the same degree as Ascendant-- it's just 'general' approximation). See how the MC (Midheaven) 'looks' like it's in the 9th House, when it's actually the 'top' of the chart? (That's how the Pluto looks moved into the 12th House.)The second chart (and chart on this page) uses the Placidus Houses, which shows where the actual cusp of each house is. (Look at the "red" writing, says Equal or Placidus.) In Placidus, since Pluto is ON the cusp at the end of the 11th House, the chart would be read and interpreted as though it were in the 12th House. I have it partile in 10th and my mother has been awful too.  I don't know it's 'comfort' but I do feel preyed upon by everyone!

Astra  I think this and people disagree. We cannot change the hard things in our charts. We CAN maximize the gifts and we all have them. I have Nessus in the 8th oppose Child. I was sexually abused by my mother. That was a LOT to suffer and I still have the effects but I use it to help others. I wish I never had it. No way was it really worth it, to be totally honest, but I do use it in my writing, astrology and counseling, as well as in my music because it made me a very deep person and this kind of redeems it. That is the way to work with your hard things but they cannot be changed, per se They just are ------------------

Thank you for your explanation Ami Anne and very sad to hear about your ordeal.
You are using it as possitively as you can and I understand your struggle just because I've been there too. Shall we say, bitter sweet gift... Thanks Astra !I have a Grand trine of ASC( which technically doesn't count but practically does imo) Chiron and Venus. Someone pointed this out to me cuz I am the last one to look at my own chart lol However, it kind of defines my life. I really would not want what I experienced. There is nothing I can "do" with it that would make it "worth it" but God had other plans. Each chart is given by God imo I take my strengths and try to be happy with them. I try to feel good about myself from my strengths I have SO many things I screw up on lol I was wondering about charts with a few houses really full and many empty, as I have. I think you have certain areas of focus and the rest kind of goes by the wayside lol Do you want to put your chart up in Beginners? I am doing a professional chart, so may not be able to look much but I will see what I can see ------------------
