Dreaminess - Do you have much water in your chart? I remember you made the thread about not understanding Pisces Mercury. Maybe you don't gel with water placements.

neptune makes hard aspects to my moon, sun and mars and i have a water moon, pluto is on my venus and mars and my moon makes two hard aspects to my sun and merc.

Like i said in my Pisces Mercury thread its not that i dont understand them i just have a hard time hearing them bc i find them to be "blurry" in their speech.

Oh That's interesting. Normally you should feel like Scorpio types (mainly Moon & Venus) are some of your best friends - with a water Moon. I wonder why the ones you've met are superficial, or why you perceive them this way.
I can't say I've met a Scorpionic/Plutonian person who fits your description.
It could be a generational thing too. Maybe their Scorpio planets are in aspect to Uranus in Cap...
The ones I know are around my age or older - 27+ .. So their Uranus was still in Sagittarius.

It might be bc i dont care for the same stuff they care for and this is the reason why i belive the moon sign and aspects to it is very strong in someone`s personality. Both those girls i know have more water influence by signs in their charts than i do but their moons are in extroverted signs and their moons drives them. Like the girl with the scorp asc do have a libra moon and what she concerns her with is more libra–related than scorpio–related and the other girl have a aries moon with moon square venus and both of them care for very superficial stuff. The girl with the scorp asc once asked me why i cared so much for other people`s suffering, she didn`t get that, for her if she heard sad news yeah she thinks its sad but she don`t "care care" like i did, and that was a moment when i realised more that emotionally, or the person i am from the inside is way more deeper and sensitive than them. I dont get their lack of depth and they dont get my sensitivity.

Btw the best connections i have had has been with other water moons.

Another clue is that you'll never see a Thread about Aries being "controversially commented" with pages and pages, because those folks almost never get affected.

Scorpio fellas tend to get scorned pretty easy. (Male and female) No way that's a higher octave of Martian influence
( Oh, and I just read some veeeeeeeeery interesting old threads ).

Perhaps you should ask iQ about that

Just my opinion.

So you feel Pluto is related to Aries? And Scorp rules Mars? Hmmm...that is interesting.
Aries is on my DC and my Jupiter.....
But I have a saggy stellium that sextiles my AC/Pluto that could account for my sunny disposition.

That's an interesting thought, aries don't get as riled up as scorpio...well aries do when it's physical but your right talking about it and getting into heated discussions doesn't thrill an aries.

Yep!

Not that we're naturally good with crisis, etc. But we're forced to learn! Sink or swim!!

I was, well, "involved" with this woman and...
I can't get detailed but she always had this nervous laughter about how I wouldn't freak out when things got a little scary. Basically, we didn't want people to know about "us". It was close to being revealed.
She used to tell me that she wanted to get in my head.

Now, it wasn't at all that I didn't (and don't) secretly also freak out but energy conservation kicks in. I know that getting worked up is ultimately not productive to dealing with the issue.

It comes out though when I encounter small, frustrating things - making mountains out of ant hills.

They get dismissed as stupid though. Strong but stupid. I find most descriptions of Aries moon overly simplified and short. It's like they have nothing to say than that we are the child of the zodiac...

I've never thought about it but your right, aries is usually a very generic and simplified description of your zodiac sign, it's like the writers think you guys don't have a lot of depth....but you do.
Maybe you guys don't fight as much as other signs to be seen in a different way or respected for your thoughts as much as maybe you should or could.
Overall your easy to get along with as long as ppl don't intentionally cross you. If they do your more likely to physically fight not get all upset about the fact that your being given less respect than you deserve.
Aries don't seem to flustered by what others think about them....that's a nice quality.

I don't think I've ever known a shallow Aries. Though that said it's very rare for me to look up someone's chart unless I'm very close to them, and that's unlikely (though not impossible) if they're too simple. (It's not a snobbish thing, it's just if I can't connect to them save in superficial ways then then there's no connection to be had at those levels, and they usually get annoyed by anything of that nature, so we may enjoy each other's company on a superficial level with genuine sympathy for each other but not get that close.)

'Course being deep doesn't automatically mean one is caring and sensitive, some Scorpios and such use their deep insights for evil and their sensitivity is entirely self-serving or even self-absorbed (that is they can expertly manipulate others to their own ends caring only for their own feelings while still aware of the feelings of others). It can be difficult for them to sympathize with stupidity and weakness as well, much like people would find it hard to sympathize with someone who banged their head against the wall all the time and then whined about constant headaches, or even just whining constantly about the weather as if there was a point. Yet even Scorpio can be too fearful to transform and these are the more shallow types as they forever shy from transformation (and these can make for some of the strongest Puritans rather than sex gods by the way, or so I read in some book by Linda Goodman once upon a time), and if they don't follow their nature then they don't transform and thus gain no depth (though they typically end up suffering anyway).

And then there's my mom...in my perspective she's done things to be a model or manipulator of men that I'd have too much self-respect to do, but she takes pride in having been tough enough to suffer through it and get men to do her bidding and from HER perspective it's me who does things that she couldn't as she has too much self-respect. Granted, I can grudgingly admire her self-discipline that allowed her to do what she did at times even if I'd have never done the same, and she can grudgingly admire my independence (in the same way people can admire how someone blind can navigate through impressive use of their other senses but not actually be envious of them). Yet she and I both have our reasons and philosophy for doing what we do. I reject her reasons but I won't call them shallow, though I understand why others would call her shallow if they didn't know her like I do (and she's not going to show you her hidden self, I'm amazed at how the majority of people are so easily fooled by surface appearances, unlike me and my mom).

I did once have a BFF who was Scorpio, and many would assume she was shallow. To an extent she was, but then she was 15 and younger. She keenly felt the dangers of the world as well as how unloved she was by family so I think that drove her to seek ways to bond with others and thus gain a sense of safety and security she lacked (which led to seeking conformity to some extent and if she had to do it by hurting others so be it, the world had no sympathy for her, why should she have sympathy for anyone else?). Heck, she was in the process of transforming when she was 15. Had she survived it maybe she'd be something of a saint today making lives better for many abused kids and the homeless...or maybe the bitterness would win so that she did all she could to squash her own weakness & vulnerability (believing then she couldn't be hurt anymore), and become spiteful who thought weakness deserved to be exploited (just as hers was by others) and the world needed to pay for its hypocrisy, which she'd do with a vicious sting where it would hurt the most.

(without any intention of making generalizations) The "depth" of Scorpios, most of the times, is a self-destructive behavior ( supported by sensitive people ) but the most important thing, they are not aware of this. Let me tell you why I'm saying this:

• They are worried about money 24/7
• They love Psychology ( and also Theosophy )
• They are highly introverted and Subsistance Economy rules, in fact (in majority of times) their whole life. Because as a Fixed Sign, they have a pre-conception about life.

• You have to work hard for "x", life is always like "x" or "y". When you go to college you have to do this and that, be friend of "x" and "y" and the Last Name of your future Husband/Wife has to be 'x', 'y'. Which means, 90% of them are highly influenced by what is called => Social Class Segmentation.

~ In other words, they are not free. (Ask yourselves, Why do Sagittarius is 1 step ahead Scorpio in the Wheel of Life?)
There's always something (material) They are worried about.
Health doesn't matter for them, as long they have the "Gold", They take care of their Health only when the illness rise to its peak.

===========================
Don't think I say this because "I feel like saying it", it actually makes me sad to notice this again, and again.
Economy, Theosophical and Cultural Pre-Conceptions are what enslave Man and Woman.

However, there are people that can be controlled with ease (or at least more than others) That would be the Key, to notice the big difference between Aries and Scorpio. Because when Aries (again, most of the times) tends to own its life, the other side of the Coin is still in the "Eat-or-be-Eaten" game of Society, Economy and the mundane world.

===========================
As I said, don't think I say this based in pure emotions or because "I have something against someone". And it's clear (at least for me) which is the True Ruler of Aries. Because it's the one that lives (and let others live).

Like yeah i know Scorpios/plutonians can have alot of depth and insight and all that, but what i dont like is the constant descriptions of them, like how they can`t be fooled but are very good at fooling others, how they can get almost anyone to do what they want etc bc this isn`t true in my case. I have had strongly influenced scorpions/plutonians in my life that have cried bc they got played by someone they cared for and wanting help to get out of that hurt, wanting or trying too hard to make people do what they want but it ended up not going their way. And even with the pluto–venus aspects (i have that btw, in a hard aspect) they say we can attract almost anyone and that we have some kind of a "magical" effect on others and blah blah i mean they always make it ought to seem that every pluto aspect/8th house/Scorpio placement is so special to have in a birth chart.

All these descriptions describe the potential. But it's always up to the individual how they get in touch with this potential and how they manifest it.

Plutonic/ Scorpio traits absolutely need to be claimed and earned, as the other posters already said. When you see an evolved/aware person who has consciously integrated this energy, it is unmistakable and these descriptions do fit.

Also, since the energy is incredibly intense, many people hide from it, suppress it, think it's wrong, too much, preventing them to "fit in"- so they jump to the opposite, personifying "anything but" Plutonic traits. This way the energy gets inverted, so it can't be detected as "attractive" or positive by the outside world. It needs to be embraced first, for that to happen

Fingers crossed your friends embrace these placements in their charts and integrate them consciously!

P.S. Also, Scorpio/Plutonic energy is not superior to other placements. Strong Neptunian, Saturnian and Uranian energy can be equally intense and profoundly influential, just in a different way - and it still needs a lot of effort and self-awareness so that the person can manifest it in its fullest potential.

Possibly over-hyped by astro forums. One thing I will say is plutonians never stay the same or at least they won't once they're willing to transform themselves. Just like every other star sign no one person fits the absolute positive points of their sign. People really do have to develop those traits. Just as all Cancers aren't born naturally nurturing, all libra aren't born diplomatic and fair, all Sagittarius aren't born worldly it takes time. You're frontal lobe isn't even fully developed at 22...

Right here ^^

This is what I've found to be true.

And it isn't fair, really-- someone may have an 8th House

moon, but that's not going to be much like the description,

if they also have a 5th House stellium.

She`s not a leader she is more of a follower and just follows the crowd she`s in even if she don`t want to do what they want. She also have an 8th house mars btw. Another girl i know with sun square pluto, mars sextile pluto, merc trine pluto and with a 8th house moon i mean come on when i read about those placements, aspects damn almost none of it matched well with how she is. She is easily fooled something an 8th house moon supposedly isn`t, her perceptions are way off and is easily manipulated. Even when she tries to manipulate its so obvious that it ends up not going in her favour, and aren`t scorpios/8th house/plutonian people the masters of manipulation? or it seems like they are the masters of everything..
Why are descriptions on scorpios/8th house placements and pluto aspects so overdone and overrated? I have even met and known naive (yeah, NAIVE) Scorpio moons WITH PLUTO CONJUNCT THEIR MOON EVEN.

I COMPLETELY agree with you! Nothing special about them at all!! Even me,a Libra girl, looks more scorpion than them! LOOOOL

I was born on the libra-scorpio cusp (oct.20th) if a cusp even exist, with a stellium in scorpio (venus, mercury and pluto all conjunct altogether) in 2nd house, and another stellium in 1st house, and according to my entourage,I am the epitome of a scorpio, which I am not (sun, mars and rising in libra).

Nonsense b**t! I have a friend (guy) with pluto in 1st house in scorpio, which is conjunct to my venus and mercury by synastry,so he is supposed to have the upper hand,pFFFF,nonsense! I am the one with the upper hand in our friendship,to the point that he worships me,to the disppear of his gf who's jealous of me for no reason. His mars in cancer is not helping in his attitude (too childlish),pfff, you are so right, they are OVERATED!!

My mom has moon conjunct pluto,I can scare the **** out of her whenever I want,a word or a look or both and she is shaking! LOOOL

An ex with venus in aries in 8th house also got scared of me whenever I was calling him on his nonsense. He tried manipulation, poor boy,I mastered in that topic in high school :-D :-D,I gave it a taste of his own medicine but bitter. Today after a year,he forgot his ego and has the nerve to write to me on social media! Laughed my ass off with my bestie, and of course, didn't bother to answer.

I think that we put so much emphasis on them because of astrology books, besides that, they are not so special. Just like Aries people, they are more like Cancer zodiac to me,sensitive. My father is Aries, hurting his ego is a game to me,putting him back to his place or knocking him off his pedestal also.He is a real tyrant to his children, according to the rest of the family,I am the only one of his child who can stand up to him and shake him for years.

So seriously...?
