So i have this aspect natally.. And i read different things about it some say it's a good aspect other say it's challenging.. I know a square is concidered a challenging aspect, but does it apply with squaring the midheaven? Also on astro.com i can't see a square to my IC, also not with 150orb, i thought an aspect to the MC is also an aspect to the IC? My midheaven is 14.54 degrees leo my venus is 13.31 degrees in scorpio and my IC is 14.54 in aquarius..IP: Logged |

I also have this aspect. Venus in 12th house (Virgo) square my MC conj. Moon (Gemini). I read that this aspect might be positive, as it can strengthen artistic talents, provided they are already present in the natal chart. If Venus square your MC, it must square your IC as well, it’s just that astro.com barely takes IC into consideration in their charts/analyses. My experience with this aspect is not very positive however. But my case might be a bit particular as Uranus is conjunct my IC, making square to my Venus and opposing my MC/Moon which in fact might be the main source of the problem… In fact, so far this aspect manifested in a way that my love and professional life have always been in conflict… I will give an example: I am in a relationship (Venus) that doesn’t work very well and at some point I get a great career opportunity (MC) in another city or country (IC). The relationship breaks and I go far far away because of studies or a job... I have the impression that my career opportunities just don’t go very well with my love situation, there are always some problems, some obstacles, and the change of job and dwelling place are necessary :/ I hope I am not completely doomed with this aspect and that at some point my love life and career will be more in tune. Mine are squared by sign. Not sure if it's close enough by degrees. Midheaven 24 degrees Aquarius, Venus 12 degrees Scorpio. The way I relate and find pleasing may not match what I find ultimately fulfilling in my career or contribution to society. Although I think there's a lot of potential in it working very well if I work with it. Channeling my deep intense passion into something individualistic doesn't sound so bad. I can kind of see the conflict it manifests. I'm a musician, but I hate selling myself. I don't wanna convince people or beg them to listen to me. I hate using technology and social media to promote myself. It seems superficial to me. But perhaps social technology (Aquarius) is the key to my success. My venus wants people to like my music for what it is, without me telling them to. My midheaven does trine my sun at Libra 27 degrees though. So my ego is very well on the same page as what I'm supposed to do/become. I think that compensates some for the venus square. IP: Logged |

Same as Gemmi, more or less. Professional life/obligations get in the way of personal/romantic life. (Though that's probably something a lot of people experience, without necessarily having this aspect.)Also, I think on astro.com it says this aspect can make for a pushover in social situations, and that definitely applies to me. I am too pleasing and afraid of upsetting people, especially those in authority (my Venus is in Libra, square a Capricorn MC). IP: Logged |

I can relate to this... I moved to LA last year and my natal venus (cancer 1 rx) squared my new relocated MC (Aries 2) . I am a comedic actor - which I love doing but don't like disgusting, toilet humor that is becoming more and more...plus promoting via social media, ugh...hate it. I ended up moving back to east coast and I feel much better. However, my status has decreased, less people reaching out, not in the game anymore.

I have Venus trine MC & Saturn trine MC & Pluto trine MC. I was a astrologer in a past life. Subconscious mind I remember this. But to have hard aspect square Venus MC makes career in beauty & communication with the voice as a singer and songwriter guitarist & producer hard.IP: Logged |

I have Libra Venus square my Capricorn MC. The way I interpret it is that my relationships tend to be one of the biggest hindrances to my professional development/career-building. In my case, my Libra Venus gets a sort of tunnel vision when I'm in a relationship. Work will NEVER be as interesting as hanging out with my significant other, which of course can cause real problems if left unchecked. Squares aren't all bad, they just require deliberate action to be resolved.I haven't quite figured out the remedy for my Venus/MC square yet though lol IP: Logged |
