Idk I looked up ESFJ and the first word I saw was "popular"... Growing up that was not the case at all. Was I known, yes. Was it because I was a "cheerleader"? Haha nope. In high school I was more of a cool nerd or a well-known nerd. Literally people would call me "smart-girl". That's what I was known for. But I didn't have the latest clothes or shoes, I was just a nerd with a cool personality haha. Could you consider me popular now... I don't know. I have friends and I can be social with random people (lol) but it's not like my phone is ringing off the hook all the time and my social calendar is filled. I honestly feel it's more of a balance. More than anything I need space. If I feel like I've been too quiet, I need to talk and go somewhere and do something, and vice versa. I could be wrong but even that test agreed. Btw I don't put too much weight into these things, they're fascinating and I think it's cool that they can gage someone's personality by asking a few questions but I'm not tied to any one "type". Maybe I'm an ISFP lol idk------------------ Asc Gemini Sun Scorpio 6th Moon Pisces 10th Mercury Scorpio 6th Venus Scorpio 6th Mars Sagittarius 7th Jupiter Scorpio 6th Saturn Aquarius 10th Uranus Capricorn 8th Neptune Capricorn 8th Pluto Scorpio 6th IP: Logged |

It's hard to put it in words.Don't take descriptions and tests too seriously and better not stop on one site. There's lot of info out there, including forums. Of course, it would be good to research ENFJ too. If you ever get serious about discovering your type, I recommend you to study functions. If you're an ENFJ, it would be: E (extraverted feeling) N (introverted intuition) F (extraverted sensing) J (introverted thinking) ISFP? Hm. I'm sensing strong F from you but I think it's more likely to be Fe. Which would leave these types = ESFJ & ENFJ (Fe first), INFJ & ISFJ (Fe second). ------------------ Anomaling around since 1911.

[/QUOTE] AA Yeah I totally understand I'm not one to get too wrapped up in labels so it's fine. I'll look in to ENFJ more as you suggested. Also, when I said ISFP I was just trolling. I was saying the opposite of what the test classified me as (ENTJ) to drive home the point that I wasn't too worried with what the test said. If you don't mind my asking, which type are you classified as? And what are your placements? ------------------ Asc Gemini Sun Scorpio 6th Moon Pisces 10th Mercury Scorpio 6th Venus Scorpio 6th Mars Sagittarius 7th Jupiter Scorpio 6th Saturn Aquarius 10th Uranus Capricorn 8th Neptune Capricorn 8th Pluto Scorpio 6th IP: Logged |

Auntie, they tell me I'm an INFP.Only slightly introverted though. It's like 52% introverted. Based on what you've seen of me...what do you think? Should I believe them or make up my own thing?

Of course you are an INFP!!! This will be $100 I can believe you're an INFP. You could be also an ambiverted ENFP. Have you ever explored INFJ? quote: If you don't mind my asking, which type are you classified as? And what are your placements?
I've settled on ENTP. Virgo ASC, Cap Sun, Libra Moon, Sag Merc.------------------ Anomaling around since 1911. IP: Logged |

AAWhen you say you've "settled on ENTP" do you mean you read all the descriptions and came to that conclusion, or that you took the test? Just curious, because if it's the former that takes some serious self-awareness, not to mention a level of self-objectivity I never thought humanly possible haha ------------------ Asc Gemini Sun Scorpio 6th Moon Pisces 10th Mercury Scorpio 6th Venus Scorpio 6th Mars Sagittarius 7th Jupiter Scorpio 6th Saturn Aquarius 10th Uranus Capricorn 8th Neptune Capricorn 8th Pluto Scorpio 6th IP: Logged |

FYI if anyone is looking for a good MBTI test, this is my favorite one: http://kisa.ca/personality/ It's a little lengthy, but it's free and in depth. Woo! IP: Logged |

Whenever I take these tests, I find myself not having an actual answer to the question, so I just pick the one that I like the best. But in reality, I'm not any of those answers. Not consistently. And every time I take these tests, I get INFP. I've read up about it in great detail, and it kind of blows my mind because it seems like INFPs never really feel anything, and just tend to mirror (very precisely) what they've learned is the correct emotion for the situation. Apparently, they do this so well that they fool themselves into thinking that they actually feel that way. (Not saying this is a fact, before anyone gets upset) So, it turns out that the way I respond to the questions on the test is exactly how an 'INFP' would respond. You know what I mean? It's not actually me, per se, but it's like 'stuff I agree with, in theory.' Which is the same as the 'mirroring' concept I was trying to articulate. Which is INFP. (So I've read)

Um I think everyone does this... they just feel that the "right" thing is a different answer. So that is why you ended up an INFP and someone that things the "right" thing to do in a situation is something else would end up as another type. Also this isnt really a personality test, its more a test of HOW you approach the world. In astro terms more like ascendant, MC issues. Yeah it tries to determine if you are a thinker or feeler, but it has more to do with how to solve problems. Like do you hide you friend on the run from the law knowing its the wrong thing but because he is your friend or turn him into the police? Etc. Bad example... lol. IP: Logged |

Lolz yes that makes sense. I didn't exactly mean that though, I know I probably didn't explain it well. :P Hm, I think it depends on what they did IP: Logged |

Thank you I just laughed because my result was ESFJ. Almost the exact opposite of my usual INFP. Well the F is not negotiable, I know that for sure. Not sure how they chose the E, either, since it was exactly 50/50. IP: Logged |

I appreciate your insight, athenaia! I do relate strongly to the reading here: http://www.16personalities.com/infj-personality However... quote: This becomes especially apparent when INFJs find themselves up against conflict and criticism – their sensitivity forces them to do everything they can to evade these seemingly personal attacks, but when the circumstances are unavoidable, they can fight back in highly irrational, unhelpful ways.
Do I? But I see Martin Luther King Jr was INFJ, and not to brag tooooo much, but his chart is a lot like mine: both Cap suns in hard aspect to Pluto, both Aqua Mercury, Pisces moon, Gemini Mars, Taurus-Scorpio nodes, and a Neptunian Venus. Hmmm

Hmm, I took the test twice. 1st result was: ISFJ (which I have NEVER gotten before. S? Really? That`s new. lol) Second time was INFJ again
Introverted (I) 79% Extraverted (E) 21% Intuitive (N) 55% Sensing (S) 45% Feeling (F) 85% Thinking (T) 15% Judging (J) 64% Perceiving (P) 36%
I suspect my job as teacher to be responsible for the stronger J-part. Interestingly when I took such tests in earlier years or during holidays, I usually rather scored higher as INFP. IP: Logged |
