Or pluto conjunct ascendant.Do people always tell you look different or you are changing? I can pass by people I knew a year ago and they wouldn't recognize me.

I have a close conjunct AC/Pluto. What you say resonates. I'm Gemini Mars though, so I already have a natural ability to adapt and change. And Venus Aquarius, ability to cold turkey let go and move on. ------------------

Pluto in 1H conj. ASC here -- Yes. But people mostly say I look alot different in pictures than real life. I do go through various phases and "changes" in the way I dress/makeup so that might be related..IP: Logged |

I have been called intense but I am definitly not underweight or thin.
I used to be overweight but now im more muscular and play sports

I seem to go through complete metamorphis about every 10-12 years....my appearance doesnt change alot but everything else about me does, my job, my style, my home.

Yep, I have it in Scorpio. I'm into dark shades of lipstick too, but not dark enough to become a goth. I like to call it the classy dark since I am also a Libra  I have big eyes too, but people say when I get mad those big eyes get kind of intense + scary. IP: Logged |

Pluto on the ascendant is known to put on weight and to do it subconsciously as a means to appear bigger figuratively
I would think pluto in first would be the same?
I don't see how being thin would be a pluto trait since you will project a weaker appearance. I see saturn as a planet that would make someone look bony.
Maybe its different for the conjunction

Lundan, well as you say wanting to look a certain way is understandable but it's not the same as actually looking how you want. I've been trying to gain weight since my teenage years but it's so not easy. 1st house often describes actual appearance. That's why I connect weight issues with Pluto there. As for which outer planet is responsible for our weight..yeah, it's not clear-cut. I also agree that more than any other planet Saturn in the 1st house will make you thin. Saturn 'kills' whatever it touches but then Pluto too )) in a way. Jupiter will add you weight. Uranus..a bit of both whenever you want? )) chameleon. Now I wonder what Neptune in the 1st does to appearance.. But ultimately genes decide. IP: Logged |

Scorpio ASC conjuncts Saturn (from 12th) and I have Uranus in Sag in the 1st. Chart ruler is in the 11th.People I don't see for a long time, recognize me immediately. I think if I change, it's just small features here and there.
Photos yea... In some I look the same, others can be a bit different. I always think I look better face to face than in photos. I have always looked younger than my age and I have been always between skinny and fit (fast metabolism + doing sports all my life). I blame Uranus here.

I have not changed my appearance as much as changed my complete life direction several times as i become more authentic to who i really am.
