It's the house of Gemini, communication, neighbors, community, etc. How we communicate to and relate with the people in our community, extended networks, etc. If I'm understanding the house correctly, although I will acknowledge that it's a bit obscure to me. Just a lot of pervy people seem to have uranus harsh aspects.
And indicators of child sexual abuse (maybe moon in 8th idk I'm not an expert) since most women go into porn to try to feel powerful over men since they were powerless as children

I've read that 8H Mars can represent childhood sexual abuse being experienced by the one who has this placement, this is one of the things I hope is not true of my cousin who has this aspect (though if it were and the family found out...)And yet I can't help but be skeptical. It's so easy to be abused as a child, you don't need an 8H Mars for that. When I was a runaway, the kids sexually abused were legion, and so were the adults trying to abuse or sexually exploit us on the streets. And then one just has to look how prevalent the desire and markets are, some nations practically advertise their child sex tourism to foreigners with money, and presumably that market doesn't include many who are sexually abusing their own kids or those local (and it would generally only be available to the wealthy anyway). I suppose it's conceivable that someone with an 8H Mars could be talked into things that got them pulled into such more easier than others, or maybe get a rep from their hijinks and experimentation or talk that invites attack/abuse, but I doubt it would make it that much more likely than anyone else and thus doubt that the astrological claim on this is justified. I would expect things in the 8th to be hidden as well but thats just not the case with the venus in 8th ppl i know. Im talking about ppl who strip or work in provocative enviorments, men included. They are much more secretive about personal love affairs but the other stuff is just work to them. This is not what I think or feel about venus in 8th its what i literally know. Also they do go about it quite sophisticated. For example if they strip, they will be the stripper ppl wonder about, you know nothing of them beyond the stage and they will not be at the side of every patron. quote:

Stripping for one even though thats much different from porn (no stds to worry about, seduction based vs sexual technique, etc.). I know one venus in 8th that did it for 10+ years off and on. I know a girl i went to school with who only works at places like hooters, tilted kilt, whisky blue, etc. I know a guy who slept with women in exchange for somewhere to live and also tends to behave quite provacatively if his livilihood depends on it. Not so sexual otherwise. Ppl forget that the 8th house also involves money and cleverness (not just sex). so when venus is here beauty "assets" and sexuality mix with money. Esp. if venus is in a money/luxury loving sign like Taurus, Cappi, or Libra in which they will not only do provacative work, but excel due to their mix of natural sensuality and business skills (a rather rare combo). In fact, these signs may heighten it but I feel all you Venus in 8th have that combo in some way. Your beauty (venus) is linked natally to money, your will to survive, and sex/sexuality as a means of power or a tool (8th house). There is something very important to remember about folks in taboo or provacative industries. Contrary to whatever fantasy is projected, these folks are not simply obssessed with sex, are kinky, have ego issues, etc. so those placements shouldnt be the focus. Again thats the projected fantasy (for obvious reasons). They are business men and women. Behind the scenes of even porn sets it is business like anywhere else, perhaps worse and ypu wont even know the name of such people unless they are near the top of their profession. And who better to excel than a Venus in the 8th who understands the merging of beauty (venus) and the profitable underworld (8th house) better than anyone. Last note: unfortunately the pattern of the abused taking this route is still pretty true.
Anyone of any astrological combo can be abused but venus in 8th tend to have venusian things harmed by the darker parts of the 8th house world it inhabits. Paul, after your post a while back about hating yourself and wishing you weren't alive I don't think its a good idea to be focusing on an aspect of life that is from the same darkness that you said killed JFK.
This topic just gives power to evil and yes porn is evil and everyone who watches it is a victim to evil. It will never be okay so stop focusing on these things when you should be focusing on the light.

I don't think that is a Venus in 8th tendency either. It is something else touching the Venus and I agree asteroids should be consulted here.
