Is it normal for a Leo (especially a male Leo) to act like they don't care about their ex's because that would wound their pride? Like they always have to be the best and come out on top, even in the game of love. I got dumped by one and the way he acted was really uncaring and selfish. Guess Leo guys only do seem to care about themselves... IP: Logged |

From experience, yes. Defense mechanism 1000% and they don't want to harm their pride. A Leo ex of mine acted like a cocky jerk after we broke up, only to find out later through mutual friends that he was actually very hurt. IP: Logged |

I don't know if it's typical of them. I suppose it could be! Leo really is very warm hearted, generous, caring, loving, fun, and protective. That is, if you're in their world. If they've decided that for whatever reason, that you're not to be a part of their world then yes, they will be quite selfish and mean. The reason is because now you no longer have significant impact on their life so why should they care? What difference does it make to their life? My take is that this is a situation in which he doesn't intend to even be friends(?) A situation in which respect was lost for some reason. Maybe you can fill in some details if you want. It's kind of nice, though...They clean the slate better than any other sign, from what I've seen. Both the men and the women. So if you talk to them about an ex, it's almost always "what ex? who cares???" and they are convincing. You get the impression they have a lot of space in their heart just for you.

Big, fat yes in my experience.I broke up with a Leo man I dated for only about 10 weeks. He acted like he did not care at all, cut me off and went cold and then months later showed up at my door at 2am crying!!! Then never spoke to me again after that. Very proud! IP: Logged |

I've dated a couple Leo women. My Leo Moon is the draw with them. They do move on completely after the breakup. But the highér types keep it classy. They like to be proud of you afterwards, thus proud that they dated you, even if it didn't work. It's a way of displayimg the Leo loyality. IP: Logged |

If it's astrology then it's something affecting a lot of people. There are a lot of threads with this theme now, and different parts get blamed, be it their Scorpio Venus or Cancer Mars and others who don't want to be quoted (so I won't cite them), and they always get a lot of agreement, but I think by now these placements aren't the reason because it seems like about everyone is doing them! Perhaps it's the same thing that's causing the many disruptions in the work place: a Cappie moon conjunct Pluto, square to Uranus & Mars along with Venus conjunct Saturn and squared against Neptune (hope I'm recalling it right), all during a Mercury retrograde. I had a Leo woman ignore me because I didn't want to cheat on my girlfriend with her. She didn't even want to be friends. Acts as if I was in the wrong.IP: Logged |

Posts like these are a little hard to read especially if you're in the situation currently with someone or have been in something similar because it makes you realize why they acted the way they did and just weren't honest about it. And then, just thinking things might have been different had they been more open and less prideful. And then, realizing people come and go and then we move on. IP: Logged |

I imagine a Leo breakup going something along the lines of Beyonce's "To The Left" song:"You must not know 'bout me You must not know 'bout me I could have another you in a minute Matter fact he'll be here in a minute, baby" Not saying that they are arrogant. But they are confident and optimistic and I don't think breakups would be as hard on them as opposed to other signs.

LMAO! I feel like this is more of a Sag song though! (And maybe Gemini) I have a Leo moon, and very close with several Leos, my mom being the most significant. Breakups are difficult. The Leo energy is extremely loyal and romantic, with a "mate for life" feel to it. So when that bond is broken, it's heartbreaking. The pride does keep them from looking like the loser though. So although it may *look* easy, it's definitely not. Possibly because they tie their relationships so far into their own egos? I could see that being a reason. I hate quoting celebrities, but Taylor Swift said, "The worst part wasn't losing him. It was losing me." And that's exactly what it feels like for a Leo to go through a breakup. IP: Logged |

I'm feeling a similar energy between Leo women and Scorpio women. The Leo intensity is more outward (like an erupting fireball) and Scorpio intensity is more inward (like a blackhole).I'm normally attracted to Scorpios, but I think I could dig a Leo. IP: Logged |

I'm a sappy Pisces sun/moon. But I have a little fire in me too- Venus Aries and Mars, Leo Rising. I've only been broken up with once. The rest of the times I was the one who called it off.But after breakups, I'm like as Fergie says in her song "Clumsy", "I like serious relationships and a girl like me don't stay single for long Cause everytime a boyfriend and I break up My world is crushed and I'm all alone The love bug crawls right back up and bites me and I'm back!" Sorry all my responses are lyrics! That's usually how my brain works, lol! IP: Logged |

Calm down there Faith, I'm just saying. Hard or not, I'm fine with finding these things out. It's always informative and insightful to see why people act the way they do. In doing so, the resolve is always mine in the end.

Just peeking in to say that it's funny how many Pisces Suns and/or Moons we have here, with Leo Asc. Anyway...I'm debating on whether to share my Leo experience (the one I'm not married to, lol), and my Leo Asc experiences. Mercury Rx has made my brain lazy. That's my story, anyway (and I'm sticking to it). IP: Logged |

Why just peeking? In case it's not clear above, this isn't a tension zone, cchampliss & I are buddies. ETA: Oh I see you may just not feel like talking. But I know you don't like bad vibes so I thought I would clarify, no bad vibes intended here... IP: Logged |

No no, I didn't think there were bad vibes here! I'm just being lazy (and I've noticed that Mercury really is taking a bit of a toll on my ability to express myself coherently, so I've been kind of zipping it more than usual lately.I should be back in full swing when Mercury goes direct.
