Violets,

"When I'm really mad, my verbal skills are undoubtedly less refined than a toddler's."
How refreshing!

Though I guess some more stuck-up-types might have some problems with it.

You have Mars intercepted in 9th - was your college education interrupted?
Maybe something in that regard coming up for you?

"I should go back to martial arts after I have the baby. My Mars loves that stuff. "
Yes, it is important to release that energy constructively, I think that would be good.

Let me think about it, well when I had sa Uranus conjunct n Mars, I met P. lol and yes, Uranian it has been ever since.

Anyway ant the transit was cool, too, as I mentioned.
For me Mars rules the 4th house and Uranus was transiting the 3rd house, which it also rules.
I guess it was fitting that I was moving out (Uranus in 3) from home (4th house ) to complete my education as teacher in training (3rd house again).

For you Uranus will be IN 9th house and aspecting the 9th house ruler as well.
Could mean different things, as I said taking up education again, developing a completely new and liberating life philosophy, moving far far away, and it would influence your relationship as well (uranus rules the 7th house), might spice up things a bit.

I am possibly the reincarnation of my mother`s mother (who died a 5 years before I was born, interestingly on 18th february, and in numerology her dying-day - number is the same as my life-path-number - that and from childhood on I was told just how much I look like her, though she was a little more unbalanced than me apparently, and well as my mom remembers she LOVED to sing. WEll I cant hold a tune, but she obviously could and was entertaining the neighbourhood with singing songs from especially old musical and operettas. Well I heard my uncle sing once, when he was drunk, and he sings like an operasinger! methodwise, and he has never ever had one single hour of singing lesson. I could become envious. lol)

Anyway no, I wouldn`t say I am her reincarnation, but there`s always been that strong connection felt even though I never met her.

Ugh. Many people never escape my hometown. It's a very negative place that tends to feed the worst in people, and it's hard to be successful, or even leave.

I've always considered myself so lucky to have been able to get away (the economy is terrible there, drug trafficking and gang activity meets with rednecks and hillbillies, and there are no public resources for poor people, which is over half the population).

It's a dismal, sad, and depressing place full of people who are too proud/arrogant to be compassionate.
Thinking about it is kind of depressing, but I had better prepare myself, I guess.

@ Ceri

I'm confused about my Mars being intercepted in H9...? My natal Mars is in H6, but what you said about school is true.

It took me forever to get through any college, and when I met my husband I actually stopped. I have one more class to complete, lol.

I have Chiron in H9, and it's always been a sore point for me. No one helped me with college, and I'm a bit bitter about that, because they had the means if they had chosen to do so.

It's funny, though. I've been quietly planning on getting trained for a completely different field, after the baby is born and when I have time. It wouldn't be school exactly, but maybe related a bit?

Now that I think of it, I have specifically been considering taking the classes/exams to become a real estate agent (9H!), lol.

My husband and I have dealt with so many real estate agents in that state that I believe I might already know the laws by heart.

Also, Uranus will be transiting over my Juno/Chiron...hopefully that won't be terrible on my marriage, but maybe we'll end up buying a home there or something, I hope (sort of).

Violets,

Aries is intercepted in your 9th house and Mars rules it thus.

"

Why donīt you complete it now or next year then? Would be a good way to deal with the square energy constructively.

I could...but I really am considering an entirely different field. Working in social services is really draining, and I don't feel as though I have the energy for it anymore, with a family. It's too bad, because it does bring me a lot of joy, but it's a lot to take home with me (which I tend to do).

But I will keep that idea in mind, to just finish that last course!

In case I haven't said so yet, I really want to say Thank You, Ceridwen, for helping me look at this transit (and thank you to everyone who has shared their stories/experiences with Uranus square Mars, and similar transits).

It's really so helpful to put things into perspective, and so interesting to hear about my Midpoints, and the baby's due date!

This has been a lot of fun, and I really appreciate everyone's input and humor.

@Faith @Violets

I didn't realize you both had kids!!

I get the cougar joke even more now.

I would love kids of my own someday. Maybe 3 or 4.

Violets, wishing you the best during this transit and pregnancy.

That really is interesting. I don't have that sort of connection with anyone in my family, other than knowing that we share the same genes, history, etc.

But my husband always held that sort of connection with his grandfather, who also died well before my husband was born (when my father in-law was young).

Wow!

Maybe your love of music is connected to hers though? And how amazing, about your uncle!

My mother-in-law published an extensive geneaology (I can never spell that word right...ever...I quit) which is an actual book she published and distributed to her many relatives. I just retrieved it to double check her birth year.

I had the year wrong. The actual chart has more in common with my daughter, especially my mother-in-law's Mercury conjunct my daughter's Saturn in Gemini. There's a chance she was a Pisces moon; my daughter's draconic moon is in Pisces...so, maybe a connection.

My mother-in-law's draconic sun is conjunct my sun by about 3° I see now (for the first time), and her draconic Mars is in Gemini like mine.

Weirdly my own mother had the same combination in draconic: Cap sun, Gemini Mars. In my mother's case it's an exact quincunx, just like I have, only her degrees aren't conjunct mine.

Anyway, this is just sticking my tongue out to all those non-believers in draconic charts out there --->

Just saw this.

Yeah maybe I'm a cougar in my heart accidentally when a really hot guy walks by and I temporarily forget my age, going into a time warp....

But I would never tell anyone that even happens as I find it embarrassing, when I realize what just happened.

That's cute that you want kids, cchampliss. Lucky kids!

When my mother was pregnant with me:

Transiting Uranus early Scorpio
Transiting Saturn late Cancer, early Leo
Both t-squaring her pr Mars 29 Capricorn

Everything was okay in pregnancy and almost okay in childbirth. One serious "glitch" but I was fine.

Tr Uranus is on my Jupiter now, squaring my sun, sextile my Gemini Mars...obvious effects are over-talking, going off topic, and so on.

Think I will quit this thread but wish you luck as always

^ That and those gifs and now I understand your home town a bit better.

P.S. My money's on the **** ****(coz you keep hinting at the cold - or am I imagining that? Your pics suggest that too, but they're from your current place, so can't be the right clue). Still. [****/****]-ish someplace? (IF we are allowed to guess, that is ) Want to include **** & **** but I just pictured a big W for some reason. Going with the first two mentioned... Am I anywhere even close?

*phew* Glad.
Were both mum and baby in danger btw?

----
As for the transits...
tUranus & tSaturn t-squaring Pr Mars! I'm wondering which one was good cop, which one bad cop in the glitch and your subsequent survival... Did tUranus mess things up and Saturn steadied them? Or did tSaturn provide the traditional 'obstacles' it does when it squares Mars and tUranus stepped in as a Wild card rescue?

<Am I over-simplifying?>

Nah, don't worry. You're not being ungrateful. The job opportunity and your history with the place are two different things. You're having to reconcile them in your mind. I know how it feels to want to escape a place that sucks your soul (*forgive the melodrama*). Not literally, but YouKnowWhatImean!
It's a struggle coz it feels like a victory and defeat at the same time (?). Victory as in, the job, of course. On the other hand, subconscious defeat to your instincts against going back. Feels like a step back in progress, even though it isn't. It really isn't - you're still winning. Stay happy, V.
