I have a lot of worrisome Uranus transits coming up this year, and I'm wondering if anyone has experiences with the ones I have coming up.I am due to have a baby in late August. At that time, T Uranus will be conjunct my Juno/Chiron in Aries, and square my H6 Mars. Has anyone had experience with T Uranus and Juno? T Uranus and Chiron? T Uranus and Mars? I wonder if Uranus transiting over my Juno will simply indicate a change in my marriage dynamic, due to the addition of a new little one in our family (my son was born while T Uranus was exactly conjunct my Venus/Ceres, also in Aries). Anyway, just wondering. Being pregnant always brings out the worry for me, and complicated upcoming transits don't help. Experience, good or otherwise, is welcome. Don't quote, please. IP: Logged |

On the day my children were born tUranus injoncunt my sun and mars and sextile my moon.I can remember that I went to the doctors to get some drugs against the pain.I have not experienced contractions at this time of my life. They brought me into a separate room and "prepared" everything. After that the doctor said:"Now we will wait for the husband." I said:"Screw that guy. That thing is painful!" My personal doctor and husband came when everything was finished. Two children within 5 minutes. Can that relate to an tUranus? IP: Logged |

^ Yikes! Especially with a quincunx being so close in degree, I don't see why that wouldn't have had an effect on your pregnancy. I had better not be having twins, lol. IP: Logged |

T Uranus on Mars could it be surgery or c section required. Like a sudden surgery. When my son was born T Uranus was Square Natal Uranus exact. And was opposite Natal Mars Virgo exact. It was a sudden C- Section..Jupiter was also transiting my fifth house which is fitting. T Uranus was also transiting my 6th house. Also T Uranus was also squaring my natal chiron exact..what I think the only worrisome thing that may happen for you/ something you may not want/like is a C-Section. IP: Logged |

That is very helpful, Julz. Thank you! My Mars was affected by my son's Aries stellium in 2011, and also his Moon. My labor was fast, but super painful, as the nurses made some errors in judgement, waiting to call the doctor, and waiting too long to give me the epidural (so I didn't get it). IP: Logged |

OMG Violets, that's horrible! Be very diligent and state your wants/needs, complain too! this time around. The doctor delivering your baby should be your regular ob-gyn the person whom you've been getting your monthly checkups with. Also go to a private hospital they tend to treat you better and offer you more privacy and more one on one attention.(not a state one), all hospitals have open door policy and are obligated to take your insurance since this is a pregnancy. My doctor had me in labor from 4am to Noon I wouldn't dilate past 3cms so they decided to go with a C-Section..weird enough those labor hours I felt no pain just weird pressure on my hip bone area. Plus my baby was breech would not turn all those reasons where considered for a c-section :-/ My doctor recommended, lots of fluids (minimal sugar), no intake of fried foods (roast/oven cook your poultry, avoid all sea foods, keep up on folic acid and ask your obgyn about omega vits before taking should you want to take any) and walks on a daily basis..she said had I followed that it would've made a difference in my delivery option. As far as vaccinations go, I know they give I can't recall the first hepatitis vac upon birth the rest take your time with them and really spread them out i was done with all of my sons vaccines by the time he was 2.5 years, its what I did, he is perfectly fine and healthy..the whole autism and vaccines is something I discuss with my sister from time to time..some of these vaccines contain some amount of mercury (or some sort of chemical name that I can't recall but its not good in young people)so spread out your vaccines since the baby is so young, talk about his with your pediatrics see what they say/suggest also. I hope this time around its painless for you <3 as it was for me. Try not to worry you and your baby will be fine. <3 Have you had any weird cravings? Mines were beef jerky and spicy foods I tried eating that stuff a couple months after pregnancy since i don't usually eat those foods and omg it was nasty haha IP: Logged |

Violets,I don`t think it will be that bad. Uranus will come up in births quite often. Hmm I had Tr Uranus square my 12th house Mars a while ago. It was during my teacher in training year (also had my Saturn-Return that year). It was very workintense year, of course, sometimes exhausting, and feeling some pressure (mostly mentally due to my own mental setup), but I also remember it as a wonderful exciting experience, and we have been a bit of a close knit group there, and it was the only time in my life (well second only time) that I was part of a larger group, and sure enough it was a vivacious temperamental group, but it was so much fun, too. There were just so many changes happening and the pace of living so fast, that it was a little dizzying, but ultimately, very good experience. Which Tr Uranus usualy is for me. especially in conjunction or square aspect as it seems. Had it conjunct and squrae my Venus, conjunct my Moon and square my Venus and Mars so far, and those time periods were among the happiest of my life! IP: Logged |

Thank you, Ceri. Now that I think of it, I've been through Uranus conjunct Venus, Uranus opposite Pluto, and Uranus square Saturn, all within the last eight years. Nothing much bothering my Mars in a number of years, other than the whole Mercury/Mars/BML annoyance a few months back. Fingers crossed. IP: Logged |

Oh I forgot, Tr Uranus has also been opposing my Pluto, conjunct my IC and right now is back for the last exact squre to my n Saturn on 16.57 CAncer. But Uranus is my friend, I donīt always appreciate his methods of rocking the boat so much and turning my world upside down, but when I learn to just go with the shaking-up it usually becomes a thrilling and just amazing ride, and I like remembering those times. Not a dull moment! IP: Logged |

@ JulzYeah, one of my concerns is that, similar to when I had my son, we will be living in an area where I happen to know the doctors are not all that talented (I grew up there). There is mainly only one hospital in the entire valley. When I had my son, the delivering doctor was just the on-call doctor, as it was a Sunday. The cord briefly wrapped around my son's neck as he was coming out, and he was born with a fractured clavicle bone in his little shoulder. The nurse was horrid, and rather sadistic imo... But my little guy is fine, and I am thankfully fine as well. As for weird cravings, I never drink milk, but where we live now there is a creamery, and the local milk tastes so good to me! Lol. I mix a bit of honey in with it, and it's perfect. And sugar, which I normally stay away from . I asked my husband to get me a Dairy Queen sunday on his way home today, lol. I walked a lot and stayed in good shape during my last pregnancy, and I had to avoid sugar, as I was borderline with gestational diabetes (no risk this time, according to my blood work). My labor lasted only around four hours (and that was long enough). IP: Logged |

That's true, lol. I remember a lot of renovations to our home while Uranus and Pluto were mucking about with my Saturn/Pluto square, and since Uranus entered my H9 I don't think I've stayed in one place for more than a few years! It is disruptive, but yes...never dull, haha. IP: Logged |

Violets, you have a Saturn-Pluto-square and that was triggered by Tr Uranus and Tr Pluto? I think I already mentioned it but I am just before the first exacting of Tr Pluto opposite my saturn, and it is the one aspect I do really dread. But at least there was or is no simultaneous challenge to Saturn and Pluto. (I have already been through the one to my n Pluto) But the fact you survived this gives me hope indeed.

Wishing you the best!!! Wow, I'm so happy for you! Please don't worry about transits, I mean....something is bound to be a square, something is bound to go wrong in pregnancy or childbirth, but usually it's okay overall. Don't forget it's usually fine. IP: Logged |

Sort of, yes... Not exact, thank goodness. My Pluto is at 8 Libra in H3, and my Saturn is at 12 Cancer in H11 (cusp of H12). I think at one point, one of those natal planets did get stuck in the stupid Pluto/Uranus square (I think it was my natal Saturn). I think you're right, if we can just go with the flow, and the changes of Uranus/Pluto transits, it's much easier. It seems to be Saturn transits I haven't quite mastered yet. Me and Saturn, we don't hang out much. Also, come to think of it, my Venus is at 3 Aries, and my Vertex is at 4 Capricorn. I think I have way too many Cardinal placements, lol. IP: Logged |

Thank you. I'm sure I will worry about the transits, lol. It's what I do. But it is nice that other people have had hard Uranus/Mars transits during pregnancy, and been fine. Fingers crossed. IP: Logged |

Transits aren't worrisome. People are.Looking too far ahead if you are anxiety-prone is a waste of thought and energy, especially when it comes to asteroids. I know you have a baby coming and you don't want any unexpected monkey wrenches, but let's be honest, a lot of the time that is just how life is. Monkey wrenches you did not request. What's new? I bet you I could find some Saturn, Pluto, and Neptune transits for you to worry about as well -- if that is what you want to do. But that's not the point, is it? A baby entering the home always changes things a bit with the couple. There are adjustments. That is what Uranus transits represent - change. Generally when people worry about this it is because they are seeking security/stability and are not confident in their ability to be flexible. What do you think could help you be internally stable, but gain confidence in your flexibility? So .... if you are due to have a baby in late August, what do you think -- will it be a Leo or a Virgo? Yes, Uranus has already transited over my natal Juno position. I moved in with my (now) wife then. Yes, Uranus transited over my natal Chiron position. Some health adjustments and no unexpected mortal wounds. I'm still married. Visualize - for you and your baby - peace, well being, and mutually beneficial outcomes. You don't have to get specific. Just visualize you, baby, husband at peace and blissfully happy with each other. Do that as often as you start worrying about astrological transits or anything else. Do that in a peaceful, relaxed state and reinforce it verbally -- and you will have a good outcome for you all! Tell your husband you are a bit worried, and have him join in with you in this visualization exercise. I guarantee you if you focus enough worry on certain particulars other ones will blindside you, thus fulfilling negative expectations. 95% of what we worry about never happens anyway, but we will fog up our minds with such anxiety we'll not be able to see the positives right in front of us. ------------------ The Declinations Guy Modern professional astrology & rectification IP: Logged |

Oh! Sorry, delayed reaction... Tr Uranus in Pisces was square my Mars with my son. Easiest pregnancy, easiest birth, but Uranus was conjunct my moon for much of that, and out of orb for the actual birth (5 degrees separating, I think.) I know, I'm a hypocrite, I worried nonstop when I was pregnant. Thank goodness I wasn't even into real astrology or my youngest son's chart would have given me a heart attack when I saw it, in those early sleep-deprived days. He's got a grand cross on the angles. And he's fine. NURTURE versus nature. IP: Logged |

Hi, Kannon. For future reference, this is all I took from your dissertation on how I should approach my pregnancy. Thank you for the five sentences regarding your personal experience with the transits I mentioned. I won't be requiring any further advice, but thank you. IP: Logged |

I've been looking back at the ephemeris, and how you've described your Uranus transits is very much the way that T Pluto/Uranus hitting my natal Pluto/Saturn square felt. Everything was moving at such a fast pace, and at the same time, my husband was going through a Uranus square Uranus transit (his Uranus/MC is conjunct my Pluto). We were preparing to sell our house and move, so that he could feel less miserable in his work. There were a number of disagreements about where to move to, and how we wanted to go about doing that...it was not easy, with the combination of transits happening. During that time, Neptune was also transiting over my H8 Sun, activating my natal T-square with Sun/Moon/NN/Neptune. I am very happy that my family made it through that intact! It was mostly very difficult on a psychological level, but it did pass. IP: Logged | |
