Does anyone notice that the vertex's placement in the SR chart has some sort of significance and also tells you some of the biggest themes for that year?For example, in 2013, I had vertex in the 7th house in conjunction with the Descendant. I met someone new I liked.
In 2014, my vertex was in the 8th house. There were a lot of painful changes to my life that were out of control.
Now, in my 2015 SR chart, I have vertex in the 7th house again conjunct both the NN and the Descendant. I just met someone new I like and I have a real desire to be in a relationship. Is this a coincidence or is the vertex quite important in the SR chart? IP: Logged |

Hm. I checked Solar Returns from significant periods in my life. The house placement of the Vertex in a given year seems to have more importance than the sign it's in.What I noticed was the Vertex house placement seems to hint at some important thing that happens that year. You don't necessarily know what it'll be until it happens though. I have my Solar Return Vertex in 7th house this year. That's a weird placement considering I'll probably be single tomorrow. Just recently noticed the prominent role Vertex played in the year someone got pregnant (at least true for my family aned friends)IP: Logged |

I had Vertex in the 5th house in my SR the year I met my love. He had Vertex in his 5th house in his SR as well.

For my mom when she had: Me: Vertex in 7th house conjunct DESC in SR (n 11th.) opposing Pluto exact (which would then end up on my MC. lol with her SR ASC being my MC exact) my middle brother: Vertex in 7th house conjunct DESC (4 degrees), in natal 4th conjunct natal Moon exact
my little brother: Vertex in 6th house opposing Mars exact (VX in natal 9th, 5 degrees off her NN-MC).

my brother`s girlfriend:
Vertex in 7th house (n 12th) conjunct Mars and n ASC by 5 degrees, also has NN on the ASC in SR (opposing my brother`s n Mars exact).
Who else is guessing the baby is going to be a boy?

@CeridwenThat's interesting. It's mostly 7th house Vertex when usually children is assciated with the 5th house and family with the 4th. Who would have thought lol Now I'm scared because I'm only 18.. jokes, I think I'm fine. IP: Logged |

O.K.My SRVertex is in my 6th house, falls into my 5th house and is conjunct my nUranus. That SRNN in the 5th house falls into the natal 5th house does not help me in this case. Can I use SRSaturn conjunct SRDC as an astrological birth control  ? IP: Logged |
