Mercury, Venus, mars in 12th. I share a little and then, poof, it disappears.

lol this is a perfect example of how this Mars sign operates. We store a wealth of information that we keep on reserve only to use to our complete advantage later

So, if I'm trying to get back on someone's good side who has Mars in Gemini, and they've already mentioned being wary of me, sweet talk them?

How could anyone be wary of you, cchampliss?

I guess it depends on the situation and the person. I don't really hold grudges, and my one Gemini Mars friend does not hold grudges. We both have mutable moons. My other Gem Mars friend has a Cap moon and she holds grudges and there's no point trying to get her to change her mind.

Oh I guess my point is, I think Mars sign alone can't tell you if a person can be sweet-talked or not.

LOL but let me clarify what I meant. I stated they have the deepest bond with words of any placement and get more turned on by words than touching not b/c I feel we would rather talk to someone we love than be physically intimate. What I mean is that the conversations and mental stimuli prior to physical touching greatly affects the intensity of feeling. Nonetheless, a more accurate statement would have been that Mars in Gemini have "the deepest bond to intellect", rather than just words (which are merely a sub-category of intellectual use).

"For me it's not like mental stimulation has to pave the way to the bedroom every time, but I find intelligence sexy, and that's not just a matter of vocabulary or specialization in something, but how a person speaks. Emotional intelligence is part of it...artistry is part of it....and humor... "

I'll talk about mental-stimulation not needing to pave the way every time in a minute. However, what you said about it being more than just good vocabulary, specialization, etc is already the typical mindset of most MinG ppl. It's automatic, think about it. If you have a decent vocabulary but HOW you express your thought seems inefficient or doesn't resonate, then the avg. MinG will not be attracted to that. Likewise, the avg. MinG looks for the ability of someone's intellect to reach others emotionally b/c we ourselves are good at that. MLK had MinG and note how emotional intelligence was a natural factor in reaching ppl with his intellect. That doesn't mean MinG itself is so emotional, it means this placement has the emotional intelligence to affect the emotions of others with the skill of our minds. Something like artistry is naturally a part of all this, as there is an art to doing any of these things well. A hint at MinG's connection to this can be noted in the expressive/beautiful (artful) way many of us move our hands. Also pretty much any Gemini anything likes some wit/humor. So within MinG's love of intelligence/adept mental abilities, all forms are automatically intertwined. I don't think any of us MiG folk focus solely on words or the mind without all the things which color them.

As for intelligence/mental stimulation not needing to pave the way every time, I'm going to say Pisces moon (or other factors) makes these things secondary or lessened. Mars in Gemini is a trait in my family (with my mother, brother, and I all having it) allowing for ample observation of this placement. I also know other MinG ppl outside of my family. Intelligence/mental stimulation absolutely has to exists every time no matter how fleeting (and fleeting typically doesn't cut it). Unless there is no intention whatsoever to bond with the person. However, for my family and I it must be there before any of us even go on a date with someone much less end up in a bedroom with them lol. That's why we are all single majority of the time (few ppl ever match up to our standards). However, going long periods without anyone doesn't bother any of us much (not even my Pisces Sun/Venus brother) but, like me, his Gemini Mars actually rules his entire chart.

p.s.: Note that needing a mental connection before getting with someone does not apply to MinG men who have a tendency to sleep with women in exchange for a place to stay, food, money, etc. They of course look for a mental connection to those they actually like/want to be with but not so much when being a man-wh@re for survival lol. Sounds crazy but I've noticed some (not all) MinG guys will do this to get by since this Mars can emotionally detach from sex.

Faith, this Gemini Mars has a Scorpio moon and is upset because I called someone else "juicy".

Thanks and hmmm that's odd me too (Rx Gemini Mars / 8th house moon). Except my moon is in Gemini. Then again Gemini actually rules my 8th house so that changes things up quite a bit

The high standards I mention would be more appropriately reflected in a MinG person actually turning down a fancy dinner if the person was boring and unintelligent. It is not at all a material high-maintenance but a cerebral one. Gemini Mars isn't so concerned about being wined and dined as they are about being able to learn from someone or have an interesting mental connection. You have to remember that a fascinating mind has no class or definitive identifier. That's what makes MinG so picky, not really b/c they have impossible standards elsewhere or anything.

In the case of adapting to long-term relationships that may not be constantly interesting and poetical, I think any sign/placement can depending on situation. However, think of how (stereotypically) a Virgo doesn't have to try to be attuned to details. Whether things are exciting or boring they are just that way. That's how I am but with witty, poetical, and intellectually clever Gemini Mars traits (and I like others who are the same). I naturally write TONS as if I'm doing an essay, novel, etc. It's just my nature and I like that in others as well. I once knew this Virgo guy with MinG and Scorpio Asc. I knew for a fact that a long-term relationship with him would never and I mean NEVER stop being intellectual/poetical in nature (b/c that's just how he was). The poetry wasn't even literal in his specific case, he just spoke a certain way and did some real interesting things with words. Which to me is as good (and possible more interesting) than a literal poet. I just never went that route with him b/c he was much too crazy in other departments that I can't say here lol.

^ So I guess we do agree because I was saying, my husband has those attributes that appeal to my Gemini Mars whether he is actively trying to appeal to me or not.

@cchampliss - Glad I could help

Same just with my Mars in Gemini brother instead. We are both Scorpio Asc born at the exact same degree (nearly 2 years apart) with MidH in Virgo, 8th house moons, and Mars in Gemini as co-ruler of our charts. I always win the battles though ...(well, 85% of the time).

I have Mars in Gemini and I agree w/ everyone else that spoke about the random bursts of "asexual" periods. I can go long periods without sex b/c simply thinking about it is enough. Sex & dating in real life usually never goes quite the way I want it to anyways & I hate emotional drama.

Other traits:
-I like a little bit of talking during sex but not excessive...if not done right it's way too corny.
-I express my interest best thru text or online
-The chase and the initial stages of dating someone is THE BEST PART about dating hands down... Better than sex sometimes if you ask me (I'm sure other Gemini Mars/Gemini Moons can attest to this) My curiosity is heightened when I don't know someone yet, therefore I'm immediately engaged.
-All 4 of my relationships ended due to losing interest and boredom
-I love learning, and also teaching. So if I try to teach you some random fact that has nothing to do w/ anything, just go with it

Oh, and a guy w/ a sexy is voice is, sexy

My second cousin has her mars in Gemini, and she tells me that she likes to talk dirty when she does the deed.

I dated a guy with his Mars here before, he was cute. I was still a virgin though, and I would flip out easily over feeling pressured into sex. Especially back then, I did not like getting the moves put on me when watching a movie.

Now that I'm more mature, I tell the guy to pause it.

But now that my libido is higher I don't mind so much anymore.

I often find Mars in Gemini men to be attractive.

I had a friend in high school with her Mars here. We fell out as friends, due to there being a double standard that it's okay if I'm third wheel but not her, and having the same taste in guys. We have gone our separate ways.

Oh yeah my friends ex has his Gemini in Mars. I couldn't help being attracted to him. I have morals though. He is a very easy person to talk to and relate to.

Oh man, my friend stayed friends with him. So around that time being around him was like being around forbidden fruit.
He ended up asking me out. I told him I like him as a person, I have a boyfriend, and I learned a long time ago not to risk a friendship over a guy.

I think he ended up unfriending me on FB, cause I never see him posting, and nothing shows up when I search his name. Maybe he deleted it.
