People who are into it are very diverse, astrologically. Some are heavy Plutonian or Neptunian, some are not. For some is a way of rebelling against social norms, these are people with a high Uranian signature. But you can't really pinpoint an aspect or sign to it.

My chart has some indications, including Aries Mars opp Saturn and Pluto and a Lilith-Lucifer conjunction in the 1st squaring all of them and while I have an interest in it, I've mostly been inactive in the lifestyle, with the exception of a few romantic interests which either fused out or turned vanillish. Sex is complicated for me, being in charge simplifies things, so it was a no-brainer, but I can easily go without it. I thank the stars I'm not addicted to it, that would've been hard.

The one that intrigues me the most is a gay male dom who told me more than one woman wanted him to be her dom. He explained he was gay, but that was why they chose him--and not in a they wanted to be humiliated through rejection or some such, but that they didn't want any erotic element involved at all. At least one wanted it 24/7 (I forget the term for it), in essence be his slave (again, no sex, though maybe spanking might've been a possibility, I don't remember).

I'd have loved to see if I could've gotten any of them to talk about that. My GUESS is it's wanting to be a little girl, but it's so strange that I don't really know.
