Thank you for saying you enjoy the way I write and think--it means a lot to me and inspires me to do more writing (which is what I love to do anyway but if people enjoy it then all the more motivation! Actually it's a struggle for me paradoxical thing because in this too I must surmount the considerable barrier of pride getting in the way of my actually using the abilities I have for the good of others... if I'm wrapped up in the fact that it's "me" doing it--or not doing it--I don't get as much done... I need to just let it flow. And trust. All in good time. I have a feeling people can sense when something is done in the spirit of self gratification and really I do have a very sensitive ego in some respects (that Leo Midheaven wants ALL the Likes!)... I get emotional and hurt if people don't Like my stuff lol... yeesh. But that's just one of the issues with social media, pitting us against one another in a weird personality contest when really we are just here to enjoy each other all together and lift each other up! I'm really working on not seeing other's victories as my own failures and enjoying everybody's awesomeness as a victory for everybody. It's challenging because we've been programmed to compete by the industrial school system... helping your neighbour is cheating! But i think we're making good strides in that direction--all together.

Oh yeah! Jupiter is definitely the first thing I saw in you. When you first started commenting (or the first time I noticed you) something like the word "sage" came to mind. Keep writing and sharing. I think sometimes the challenge is to be open and honest about what you think. Sometimes you might be afraid that no one can grasp your big ideas, but those kinds of ideas are worth the rejection of many for a connection with a few.

Oh this is so interesting; the source of your optimism, because I have a belief in the connectedness in everything that fuels my love and faith . I have this concept of "oneness" that astrology has helped me expand on. My mystic teachers touch on the idea of man being God or finding God within. They also teach that God is One. So (my thinking) if God is One and we are God, then we are One, all different parts of the same Soul struggling to become aware. Once I was listening to a tarot reader (leaning more toward being a medium then relying on the definitions of the cards) do general readings by sign. He was very good, and also, I had kind of tapped into his connection with "spirit" ( my 12th house Merc was eavesdropping) so while he was reading I was hearing messages also. I kept listening to his readings even though I have no personals in Aqua, or Sag...at some point I realized that the messages the reader was conveying, the messages coming from "spirit", were for the same "One" soul or entity, and the sign simply determined how "spirit" needed to convey that message.

Anyway, not quite the same as you are talking about, but almost...

I don't know if it's Jupiter, but I love making very loose connections between ideas.

The greatest thing you'll ever learn--just to love. Not always an easy task but if there's one sign that REALLY gets your goat then that's the area of life YOU have to work on. It's always been this way...

One is my mother. I have come to love her and understand how she became as she was (and I believe that had I been raised with her challenges that I'd have been very low vibrational as well--not in the same way as her, but still ruthless and possibly on death row and deserving it), but I can't help but still pity her, and I'll never trust her. And, there are things about her I still hold in contempt, even as I love her. I expect I love her much more than she does me (and I bet I'll be the only who cries at her funeral, save maybe her own mother if she's alive for it). I know she holds me in contempt as well, but I don't care, I rather find it an amusing irony, because we both take pride in ourselves what the other would be ashamed to do/be. (She was approving when I smacked her sister down both verbally and physically that last time we met, however--but her giving me the thumbs up did more to make me question my actions than Granny scolding me. )

Another is a stellium...well, that one is just so complicated, much more than with my mom, so I'll say no more...other than she was going to kill her beloved dog for a man that I think brainwashed her somehow (though it boggles my mind on how).

Another is a stalker. If he ever showed up in my life I'd feel I was doing the world a favor to blow his head off--and I would if I thought I could get away with it, and I probably could if he's still as I remember him. And I'm not going to work on it, so I'll have to disagree with you there (as would the Scorpio stellium just mentioned). I'm just glad he's such an idiot.

I agree.

Leo might look like he is winning, but but a few years later, gets stabbed in a back alley somewhere. A true scorpio will wait however long to get his revenge. Pluto will always have the last word.

[/B][/QUOTE]

..and that is exactly what is sad about scorpio and what I don't like about them, that is their weakness and I find that a very childish mentally bc that mentally doesnt lead to real victory, the scorpio also loses in the process and I find it a waste of time and investment in your energy and thoughts. Life is short, just freaking let it go and invest your time and energy in better things.

IMO:
Mars in Scorpio has a bad temper and holds grudges and sun in scorpio holds grudges but I find they can control their temper much better but sun in scorpio is more vindictive than mars in scorpio, I guess mars in scorpio just blows up badly while sun in scorpio plans revenge and executes it at the right time.

Honestly I feel that is a battle that nobody really wins and both end up losing badly no matter how it may appear.

You're glad he's an idiot? Je ne comprends pas... and maybe watch what you write on the Internets?

But... i respect your right to feel contempt and stuff. Sorry for lecturing. I understand it's probably complicated.

Quite simple, actually. He may be contemptible and potentially dangerous, but he's also incompetent. If he were smart as well then he'd truly be dangerous.

Granted, it would be better still if he was kindly, saintly, etc, etc, but I'll take what I can get.

And he's just one example why I don't buy into how awesome, indomitable, and unbeatable Scorpio is. (Granted, I probably shouldn't have expressed just how negatively I viewed him--for legal purposes only just in case he ever does enter my life again, as opposed I should pretend life and the universe is all positive and loving where the beasts and such within nature, which includes us, is all an anomaly rather than an underlying aspect, right along with the beautiful.)

For that matter, I've actually cut Scorpio some slack, because on one level I think many of them are more fragile than usual, and thus took more crap from them or overlooked certain behaviors than I have others...not because there was something sexy (necessarily) about them, or I had no choice but to submit, but because I figured they were more easily hurt and found the pains of life harder to get over. I'm thinking of changing my policy on Scorpio, however, because either astrology is much less significant than I used to think and thus they don't have it as an excuse OR astrology is absolutely true and thus Scorpio is right to be put on a pedestal...and that means I can hold them to HIGHER standards rather than lower, which means no more putting up with what I do from them today (as long as they don't cross a line).

That said, some of the best people I've known have been Scorpio, just as some of the worst have been.

I love this story... yes they're all coming from the same one, I agree... It's such a simple thing that we are all one but so complex and elusive somehow so much of the time. Can seem trite and simplistic but we all source from that same thing... the tao... or whatever

Sage! Ah too nice

I believe Scorpio.

A typical scorpio has suffered a lot in life, has died and has risen, has seen the worst in the world and has still moved on.

And Leo can not say that.

Wow...I'm surprised people are still commenting on this thread, its been 3yrs since my initial post.

As per my initial post, the Scorpio ended up winning.

I didn't know what to think because The leo was a scorpio Asc so I thought that would give her a bit of an edge.

As shameful as it is to admit..I actually liked the Leo in my initial post but never trusted her Scorpio friend and knew it whould be a matter of time before a major argument broke out between the two of them.

A partnership takes two people, person #1 that drives person #2 into the ground. Scorpio would always drive Leo into the ground.

They had a big argument Scorpio left the country and miss Leo made herself available to me once Scorpio left the picture but life changes happened and I wasn't interested anymore.

LMFAO, it seems like even mods here are heavily biased towards the most overrated sign in astrology. The answer is simple, Leos.

Scorpios are scared to death of Leos, I've seen it. Even in recent history, I have seen Leos get the better of Scorpios time and time again. The misconception is that water puts out fire but fixed fire evaporated fixed water. Fire is universal, water is found in few planets. Going to my examples:

Joe Rogan annihilating Sanjay Gupta.

Barack Obama making Joe Biden his lapdog for 8 years while also blanking Hilary in the Democrat primaries (something spineless Bernie could not do).

Tom Brady getting Garapolo booted from the Patriots after Jimmy tried to get his job in sketchy ways.

It happens countless times.

Now a water sign like Pisces can catch Leos by surprise, such as Eli Manning getting the better of Tom Brady. The truth is though, the only signs that can go toe to toe with Leos when they are in war mode are the earth signs, especially Virgos (sign following right after knows the weaknesses).

Maybe the air signs too but Leos and Air signs, outside of Aquas, love each other.

Scorpios are afraid of Leos because Leos endanger their privacy and need to be in the shadows. The Sun reveals all which is why Scorpios are so weary of, envious, and afraid of Leos. Leos almost always get the better of Scorpios, it's a fact. Anyone denying it is just a bitter water sign.

In fact, the fact that Mars is even domiciled in the most insecure and spineless sign of the zodiac is an insult.

Hmmm. I almost want to create a site or astrology blog and call it Scorpio Circlejerk

What I will do is gather up tons of crap on the internet pedestalizing the sign and put it up for the world to see just how bad the bias is. Even mods on here run astrology blogs where they hype up the All Bark No Bite placements like Mars in Scorpio.

You complain about Scorpios but you are doing the same, putting Leo on a pedestal (he wants to attract attention like wayward children) the difference is that you make an effort to do it while Scorpio does not.

No I do not do any of this. Scorpios make A TON of effort to do it, they dedicate more time to it than I ever could. I kind of have a theory as to why too, maybe the signs who are losers in life are not the ones living life and the ones spending countless resources on the internet to hype themselves up.

What other sign hypes up its ****** season.

I get it, you have a bias and a dog in this fight and are likely a Scorpio, tough **** if you have hurt feelings. I do not know why one sign thinks it is above criticism. Meanwhile, this thread has shown just how biased and partial the mods are towards one sign.

Facts are facts.

Leos beat Scorpios, it's a fact of life, not sure why people are desperately denying it and hyping up the most overrated sign of the zodiac.
