This is in reference to the Scorp sun/Pisces moon man I mentioned in a recent post. I have a big crush on him (yeah yeah, I know, I post about crushes often..what can I say? Lol)... and I let him know this about two months ago.I work with this guy. Once he found out I was attracted to him, he began wandering around my work area but would never say anything. He'd look at me but not smile..just walk around me doing nothing in particular and say nothing and then walk away. I'd smile sometimes and this went on for a MONTH before I got the balls to approach him. I just started casual small talk and he didn't answer much but he actually said that seeing me in the mornings made his day. Aww..sweet. Weeks go by, he musters up more conversation but not a lot. He doesn't seem to know how to talk to me. He seems very shy. He has started smiling at me and yesterday he invited me to have a drink with him at the bar tonight. He has asked me this before and both times I said yes! After saying yes, he walks away! and has never given me his number. I haven't asked for it because I'm having trouble gauging his level of interest. Well today he didn't come by to see me at all!! Needless to say, we didn't meet up for that drink..again. SO....Mars in Virgo. Is this how yall pursue an interest??? Are you super slow in the chase? Cautious? Shy? What the hell? I have never ever knowingly been involved with anyone with Mars in Virgo and it is just one of those placements that doesn't make sense to me. I have Mars in Pisces and even though we're opposite, he sounds like he's pursuing with Piscean energy..hard to grasp! IP: Logged |

Well, as a mars in Virgo, along with three other placements, Venus included. Combined with his Scorpio I'd say that he's just observing and feeling you out. Virgo is an observer, an analyzer. It's difficult for me to isolate just virgo mars from the rest of my chart. So what I tell you may not necessarily be only that. That said, sometimes we're like inquisitive little boys. We'll poke right there and just watch to see what happens. To figure out what our next move is, if we even intend to make another move at all. Shoot, maybe it's other things in my chart and I'm way off. I've also been straightforward. Maybe that's part of it too! Being mutable. I'll play off of the feedback that I'm getting, even the subtlest of things that "normal" people may miss. IP: Logged |

I have Mars in Virgo and the ex I had the longest relationship with--it started as a crush--was also Virgo Mars. We both waited for the other person to chase us (not just with each other, but in general), but weren't attracted to people who chased us. We were both attracted to people who were hard-to-get, but we needed the hard-to-get person to be the one to make the move--an unpleasant bind. I am not a fan of this as a Mars sign. Another ex I had huge feelings for has Mars in Aries, and he just makes the move and bravely asks a girl out. With Scorpio Sun, Pisces Moon, Virgo Mars, your guy will have to be very mature to straightforwardly get into a relatuinship without tons of mixed signals, advancing and retreating, etc. that said, with his placements, it does sound like he's interested--can you invite him out for friendly group drinks or something, then let him move from there? Mars in Virgo native hereIn dating, I quietly purse whoever I'm interested in but I'm also very receptive, so I sit back and observe. See where you're coming from... IP: Logged |

Mars in Virgo has a innocent charm, we notice things about you, things that might seem irrelevant to someone else. Stuff that'll make you say "Awww, you really remembered that?" IP: Logged |

Mars in Virgo here, I pursue and I pursue hard (when I'm genuinely interested) It's in the 12th along with my Venus in 12th I do not take no for an answer because if I am the one to pursue I don't stop until I've gotten what I want a YES! lol; this only applies when I want someone. usually I get them 10/10 (seriously guys I'm not kidding I sometimes cringe at the way I pursue UGH! maybe its the Cap Moon? talk about competing). Mars Virgo strategize their moves. IP: Logged |

It is most unfortunate when one has to gauge out the feelings of another through these weird mating rituals. I say that you should pull back. Be nice and amicable ofcourse, but dont force the issue. If he really is into u, in time he will let you know and follow up on the drinks part. The fact that he has not on both times, suggests to me that he does not take you seriously. IP: Logged |

Mars in Virgo are a bit passive and prefer for the partner to be the more (pro)active one. Of course, this would be modified by other placements and aspects. This Scorpio guy may not believe that you like him, who knows what's in his head. He's observing you ever since you told him you like him... he may be trying to figure you out. Look at your synastry and composite to see if there's anything that will be actually bringing you together.IP: Logged |

This is very interesting for me to read, in particular as it`s just have been dawning on me that I am being at least a bit of a target of the "Virgo-Mars-observation". I let myself get blinded by the Sagittarius-luminaries, but always am surprised about how much attention he pays to the random details I let slip. And apparently takes mental notes of some of these strange details. lolIP: Logged |

Ha! These all make a lot of sense to me. I can even relate to Faith's story. It's amusing to read them all. 😁The mental note taking. I feel like it couldn't be stopped if we tried. It's not so much intentional as it is simply the way it operates. I personally feel like I couldn't prevent the mental note taking if I tried. Things just stick, mentally. IP: Logged |

Asking you out, then not meeting up. Sigh. Idk, that doesn't sound like being cautious or shy to me. That sounds like troubles. ---my s.o has virgo mars/venus/moon. Him: Like what you see? Me: *charging*. I liked him first n made the moves. He was responsive to my advances and always let me know about his intentions and interest. If he didn't, I'd have looked for another playmate. But yeah, that didn't happen. He liked playing coy though. If it were up to him, the dance might have dragged out for longer. Even now, he still likes playing these little dances. Definitely more into seducing/teasing than outright pursuing. IP: Logged |

Th is is all so interesting to read! I am not pushing anything on him. In fact, he may be questioning whether or not i really like him. I dont respond with enthusiasm when he asks me out. I just nod and say "Yeah maybe we could do that" ...i don't talk to him much but I do wave and smile. He has asked two of my coworkers if I still worked there when we go long periods wi th out seeing each other...our work environment is outside in a huge refinery so we aren't always in close proximity. Anyway, Mars in Virgo is an observer, it seems..from what you've all said. I can see how Mars in Virgo might want to play it safe. Obviously other planets and aspects influence this. His Mars opposes his Moon, trines Jupiter, and squares Neptune. IP: Logged |

Faith, that`s something that is important to him, too. Genuine interest and being impressed for specific things he does. General "You`re so amazing" is nice to hear for him, but does not mean anything really. Which is maybe because he was looking up when I was talking to him for the first time about his performance, as being a teacher I can`t help it I ALWAYS not simply praise something but always give a specific reason why I think something was good or improveworthy. I'm a Mars in Virgo. Conj Asc. 1: observe 2: attack 3: wait for response 4: if negative, I get turned off. If positive, great! IP: Logged |

Loving this thread! Yeah, they do observe - but they usually use their powers for good. In F.R.I.E.N.D.S, remember when Ross gets Rachel that brooch as a present? She'd said *one* sentence about it, months ago. While looking at it in a store window. He didn't just listen. He listened, he remembered...and he got it for her! That's just precious. Warms my friggin' Virgo Venus heart. The best part is - and here's how it's easy to tell if they're into you -- they'll do things for you without being asked. Every Virgo energy person will most likely help you out if out if you ask, or if it falls within common decency to help you out. But these folks go above n beyond - they'll think of you before you think of yourself, even. Mostly, the feeling I get is..'hey, I wouldn't even do that for myself'. Plus, they have a weird kind of patience. Or they have a weird relationship with patience. Real-life glitches and things not going smoothly or efficiently as planned, even the smallest ones - tick them off like anything. They can be the nervous-irritable types. On the other hand, they'll sit patiently through my most raging silences. (Which, honestly, is when literally everyone else avoids me.) So, I'm inclined to think they won't give up too easily if they do like you. Haven't tested that theory though, so, can't tell.. IP: Logged |

I've read some things about Mars in Virgo being secretly super kinky. A contrast to the symbol of the Virgin. What do you all think about that? IP: Logged |

I'm not super-kinky--not even really slightly kinky--secretly or otherwise. My Virgo Mars ex was even more vanilla! Virgo is an earth sign, so I think delicate Virgo Suns are often sexually earthier than you might expect....but not sure about the Mars. IP: Logged |
