I thought having Chiron on Sun was worst than Asc. Can someone explain to me the difference please I don’t really get itThis question was asked by a lovely lady. It is a great question! First of all, we need to break down the nature of the Ascendant and the nature of the Sun. The Ascendant is our “self” that interfaces with our every day world. I am a Libra Ascendant. I appear balanced( I hope). I am soft spoken and refined( I hope). I dress simply and with good taste( I hope, once again) These are traits with which I IDENTIFY as part of who I am, with respect to the self you will see when you meet me. Is the Ascendant the CORE of me? NO. If you know me well, do you see me as my Ascendant? Most likely, not. You will see traces of that, of course, but my DEEPER self will shine through because my deeper, more intimate self is not my Ascendant. It would be my Sun and Moon. Chiron is the planet of pain. Chiron conjunct the Ascendant will be bullied, in the cases I have seen(There are a small number of cases in which this has not happened, but it is a small number) My theory as to why this Chiron placement is bullied is that many, many people respond to pain with meanness. The people who do this will argue the most about it, so save your words, so as not to identify yourself. I think Chiron conjunct the Ascendant is one of the hardest aspects, bar none. Chiron conjunct the Sun is very different. The Sun represents one’s father, as well as one’s own ego/sense of identity. This aspect shows a VERY painful relationship with the father and one that greatly hurt the native. The closer the orb, the harder the relationship. I hope I have answered this question to your satisfaction. That is, always, my goal! ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? I have the conjunction to my Sun. I have a great relationship with my father, so I can't relate to that. My sister has Chiron in her first house, but not conjunct the ascendant. IP: Logged |

Chiron conjunct Ascendant here, I was bullied in school, not so much in high school (there was a few rumors) and not before 2nd grade. I wonder what triggers the bullying?------------------ "Do not let the behavior of others destroy your inner peace." -Dalai Lama IP: Logged |

In doing thousands of charts, I have found that a close aspect of Chiron and the Sun is pain with the father BUT if I find a case in which that is not true, which I have not yet, I would need to really study other aspects to the Sun to see why. With Chiron conjunct the Asc, in doing many, many charts, one girl was not bullied. She has Dejanira conj Pluto which is the person who STANDS up to bullies. I have this and I do stand up and hate bullying with a passion lol ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

I think it's my tightest aspect. I did have problems with a few of my mother's boyfriends, though, when my parents were divorced. IP: Logged |

You would have to study your entire chart, teasel, to see the entirety of your relationship with your dad vs your relationship with men, in general, which is,also, the Sun. ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

I don't do transits, I. To do them right, they are their own extensive study and not as simple as they may appear at a fast glance. They give me the creeps and make me too paranoid lol My next step in Astrology is medical Astrology. I think this is what I, always, was supposed to do. ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

I have the conjunction to the Sun and my relationship with my father isn't painful, but my father IS in fact very distant and aloof and sometimes I feel as I am emotionally disconnected from him. He has a better relationship with my little brother. In addition to Sun conj Chiron, I also have a Sun/Nep square which could also contribute to having a distant father. I also have Chiron Square Ascendant, I don't know what that means though. IP: Logged |

Egggzackly The good thing about those aspects is that I'm able to heal others and I genuinely care about people. I have problems of my own, but end up helping people with theirs and sometimes that's okay with me. IP: Logged |

Ami, I am not convinced that Chiron conjunct ascendant makes for someone who is bullied. imo, Chiron conjunct the ascendant can give the person the aura of Chiron, that is, someone who is able to express/represent collective pain or emotions (usually through their art or work). People with this aspect can actually be well liked and tend to be popular with the masses. Chiron not conjunct ascendant but locating in the 1st confers the same quality, albeit a little more subdued. Chiron in the 1st: Oprah Winfrey, Bill Clinton, Bono, Shakira, Barak Obama, Serena Williams, Richard Burton, Carrie Fisher, James Stewart, Sally Field. Chiron conjunct the ascendant (0 to 4 degree orb) Linda Goodman Martin Scorsese Wilhem Dafoe Tchaikovski Fred Astaire Peter O'Toole Art Garfunkel Rudolf Valentino etc... IP: Logged |

Here is the thing, BI base my theories on the thousands of charts I have done in 7 years. If I see the same thing over and over, I form a theory. All the Chiron conj the ASCs *I* have seen, except for one, and there have been many, have been bullied. Kate Middleton has this and she says she was bullied.
About the list of famous people, we don't KNOW them. One would have to have an intimate relationship with them, so to speak, to really know. ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE.

The other thing, B, is that the closer to the ASC the Chiron is, the worse the bullying seems to be.The degrees are very important here. ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE. http://www.mychristianpsychic.com/

Ami, please show me someone who can honestly say, I have never been bullied. They will be in a minority. I have been bullied for a short time in my youth. During that time, Chiron was not conjunct my ascendant. I have recently gone through a Chiron conjunct ascendant transit and I don't recall being bullied... For bullyism to be a marker for natal Chiron conjunct Ascendant, it should be something that has defined the person's life and CONTINUES to define it, as planets conjunct ascendant have lifelong impact. I don't see Kate Middleton's life playing out as a bully victim. Do you? IP: Logged |

I think we have had these discussions before in one form or another. You always give Chiron a very bad rap. Yes Chiron symbolizes a wound that doesn't heal, but Chiron is ALSO a healer. With all due respect to the thousands of charts you have done over the past 5 years, you are not the only person who has done charts. I have been looking at people's charts for the past 20 years, and I have been studying Chiron since 2000. I do not pretend to know Chiron very well, but I do know that portraying this planet as purely negative is a misunderstanding of its qualities. IP: Logged |

I have Chiron in Pisces in my first house opposite Pluto and trine my Sun and Moon. There had been times when people tried to bully me, but with permission (parents), I fought back. What I also think is significant about the first house is that it is one of "pioneering"--the Aries influence, so with a positive direction, the possibilities are endless. IP: Logged |

Kate was bullied as a CHILD.
There is a life Theme of bullying, often as a child, with this Chiron placement that I have found in my chart readings. That is my findings and my opinion. We can differ and still be friends, B ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? Check Me Out, DUDE.

Of course we can still be friend, Ami. My libra moon is going to argue with your moon in cancer, but I do have a lot of respect for the way your mind works, and for all that you have achieved and learned in the field of astrology in record time. IP: Logged |

I get the bullying with Chiron conjunct Sun in Aries. You would think Aries would be strong enough to withstand it, but not when it keeps happening. The constant blows to self-esteem build up. My dad didn't cause that, though. It's in my 6th house of daily crap, so I guess that explains it. IP: Logged |
