Topic: Transit saturn square ASC did you end relationships during this time?

I have had this transit for almost a year now and it is making me get rid of relationships i have known for a long time must end at one point. I feel distant and not connected too, and i have been more responsible and realistic. Been lots of responsibility thrown at me in the last year. How was it for you when you had this transit, did relationships end esp relationships you have known for a while must end? If so, Did you or did circumstances force it to end and are or were you more realistic during this time ? IP: Logged |

Hmm, now that i look this up...yes!
When Saturn was exactly square my Ascendant an important relationship ended.
There was a lot of dishonesty that i had been putting up for quite some time and i couldn't take any more of it so i called it off.
We got back together a year and a half later, only to break up again when Saturn transited my Venus and opposed my Moon.  IP: Logged |

Same here. While I've always done this sort of thing, (Saturn in 11th?) When transit Saturn was trine I started with a clean slate outside of 2 or 3 friends. IP: Logged |

Yes, I did. It was in summer/fall 2001, and the woman I was dating (first ever) broke it off with me. I was also having difficulty in relation to my family at that time, and just about everyone around me. But don't take that as indicative of what one is 'supposed' to experience during this transit, because I was also experiencing Pluto in transit square my Asc. Rough!headintheclouds91, what Asc figure are you using as the basis for this? And if you don't mind, what was the start (first event, nature of it) and ending/climactic point (and nature of the event)? ------------------

For a long time i knew deep in my heart i had to give up my dog to give her a better life but i kept on convincing myself that it (me) would get better. It was not until saturn squared my rising that i really started opening my eyes and came to my senses, and last week i gave her to her new owner. I`ll admit circumstances gave me a kick in the butt too regarding her. When i read earlier this year about saturn square ASC and how a separation might happen during this time little did i know it would be between me and my dog even though the thought of giving her up has been there for a while. I have had other reality checks regarding other relationships/people/myself during this time too but this reality check was the hardest to face. She is my gal and always will be ❤ I ended a friendship too that i knew wasn`t good. I saw red flags with this friend from the get go but i enjoyed talking with him but i knew this guy runs his mouth and was not to be trusted too so i knew eventually that friendship must end at some point. Didn`t like how he would talk about other connections in his life and people and not think about how some of those people might want to keep things private. I could see from miiiiiles away that this dude one day would run his mouth on me too. Don`t quote please  IP: Logged |

In my rectified chart Saturn was on my MC squaring my AC and DC and conjuncting valentine while Neptune was on my IC, atropos on my saturn, and jupiter on my southnode when I met my husband which was around when I decided to completely let go of the idea of getting back with my ex and around the time when I also distanced myself from some friendships I felt I needed to let go of. Transit nodes were on my mercury opposite moon as well when I met him...So saturn can mean letting go of some people and meeting someone new too.. IP: Logged |

I was towards the end of obtaining my bachelor's degree and shortly after I got my degree I got my first job working with the elderly as a social worker and all while transit Saturn was in my 10th I worked there then towards the beginning of its transit in the 11th I moved to Colorado when it was conjuncting my sun while transit Uranus was opposing my sun. I have it progressed. I'm DEFINITELY pushing hard for structure at work. I'm probably quite irritating for some as the habits for years has been just doing the minimum necessary to get by and go home.
Even direct leadership may find it irritating but ultimately I think we all understand it's importance and impact so I don't catch much crap for it. IP: Logged |

Sometimes Saturn transits fix relationships or make them more mature but in a very strange way. I was contacted by an old flame during Saturn square ASC (Rx). There had been some unfinished business between us and when we recontacted we managed to get some kind of closure but it became clear that we’ll never get back together. There seemed to be a lot of good will on both sides though.
I think we might keep in touch as friends, in the future, maybe. IP: Logged |

I've never ended a relationship when transit Saturn was square my Ascendant. At least, I doubt I have. I ended a relationship when transit Saturn was conjunct my Pluto though.IP: Logged |

The last time I experienced this transit I was 3 or 4 years old. Now at 33, I've been on the other side of divorce since this transit has started. But I am not interested in dating or at least the guys who are interested in me make me feel too much pressure. I do believe in twin flames. But he was messing with my head so much one of the last times I saw him...I just can't right now in the physical. Though I get constant signs about him multiple times a day. Today I am feeling really down. I got to experience not working but had an awful spouse. It just sucks having to work full time and pretty much be exploited for it. This transit just started for me and I already can't wait for it to be over. IP: Logged |

Oh yeah family stuff, while things have been better. It's still really hard for me to be around them. Plus I moved back in with them when I left my husband. While this is better than being with my husband. It really does impact my self esteem living with my parents. I don't like it. I miss being "invisible" on my terms. Plus I just learned to lower expectations with my parents. They are pretty "dismissive" people when it comes to my feelings. Emotionally they are not supportive.I am really missing my old job today. Like yesterday after my 10 hour shift I had to tell my mom to back off because when I got home she just wanted me bombard me with all this chatter. IP: Logged |

When Saturn entered Leo or Aquarius... the latter was just recently, 2020/2021. Relationships with anyone believing certain conspiracy theories were/are volatile. Saturn was square my Uranus/ascendant, after squaring my Ceres/Chiron/Sun and mercury, along with Pluto, for years. I feel very strongly, and am more certain now, which doesn't sit well with people I mentioned above. IP: Logged |
