hannaramaa,

How explosive a Moon-Pluto aspect is for a person depends on how tight the aspect is and what other planets are in aspect with Moon, etc. Can`t determine an `explosive` personality by one aspect or by sign quality alone.

Moon can also make parallel and contra-parallel aspects (and frequently does) with Pluto out of sync with the usual sign relationships (longitude). Moon in low north declination in Virgo was parallel Pluto in low north declination in Libra for many people`s birth charts. Moon in low southern declination in Pisces was parallel Pluto in low southern declination in Scorpio. Now that apparent trine or near trine isn`t justflowing, but far more intense due to the parallel aspect.

Moon`s soli-lunar cycle that expands and tightens its north-south orbital path, and Pluto`s orbit tilted far from the ecliptic allows for many more of these aspects to happen off-kilter from the usual sign-based relationships seen on the flat wheel chart, which is a very poor representation of the sky -- sort of like believing the earth is flat.

I have the square and it can be hard. To me, I just feel everything so much. Feelings can be like life or death.

I also have a Moon-Mercury aspect, so talking about how I feel to someone I trust helps.

I have my Pisces Moon trine Pluto in Scorpio both in water houses (12th and 8th) and it is definitely an aspect I can feel (0 degree orb). I feel things very, very deeply, but since it's a trine I am able to be at ease with it. It's hard to describe in words as Pluto's energies are very powerful. I tend to take things to heart, and I sometimes get in very bad mood swings due to the intensity of how I feel in the moment. I guess an easier way of putting it is that I feel the extremes of all emotions.

I have it in a grand water trine with Mercury in Cancer (2 degree orb) and it helps me in aiding my creativity. I need a creative outlet to fuel my inner turmoil and I do so through painting and other various forms of art. I have also found that listening to music, doing yoga, and spending a lot of time alone introspecting has helped in alleviating such strong emotions that are prominent within this aspect.

Wow, it's pretty eerie that I see some similarities in myself in what you wrote. As another fellow Pisces moon, I also have an interest in the occult, yoga, surrealism, etc. I never had dreams of predicting earthquakes though, sounds pretty incredible. Actually, a lot in what I'm reading in this thread I can relate to. So cool!

I want to thank Kannon and hannaramaa for their insights.

I also have a Taurus Moon - Scorpio Pluto opposition (2 degree orb), and it also squares (by a 3 degree orb) my Venus - Ascendant conjunction in Aquarius.

The fear of loss is definitely a big marker of this placement. I remember being aware of death since my earliest childhood memories - I would stay awake at night in fear that my parents would die one day, and I would also be desperate to fix arguments and disagreements quickly because I would be scared that the other person (usually a parent/ grand-parent) would die suddenly and our last interaction would have been an argument. Definitely not a typical behaviour for a 3 year old!

I'll only add that Moon-Pluto tends to be highly receptive to the external environment, so the tidal waves of emotions are not always our own. For me personally, it took a long time to be able to differentiate, and stop identifying with other people's emotions.

I have moon trine Pluto. Everytime I feel sad I cry a lot and I feel like I'm 'dying' but then when I stop crying everything is fine, I feel alive and I forget about my sadness. I don't know if this is how Moon-Pluto works but...
I'm strong. Emotionally strong.

Thanks for all the other conttibutions. They help out a lot. The bit where it was mentioned that often one can be confused by whos emotions they're feeling (others' or my own feelings) is something that surprised me. Perhaps I can work with this and see where I get.
