I don't know if I agree that Quaoar means brilliance. I like the thoughts of Aleksander on it. He had several key phrases to describe Quaoar’s action:

After something bad, comes something new, some new expansion of consciousness
A price must be paid, a painful process, before something new happens
A break with something, a break with the past, so that we can move onto something new
Something must die first and then something happens, something new that is beyond death.
Because of the Tongva association, the symbolism of Quaoar may be connected with “creating through dance or rhythmic creations.”

Or this:

And let us note, Quaoar is north of the ecliptic in Ophiuchus, not south in the Scorpion. This stellar positioning suggests its appearance may be motivating the willingness to challenge existing political structural systems to re-align with the laws of the natural world—but not to fall into battle from mere malevolence, hatred, vengeance, or undermining spite but to take a stand for a greater attainment of evolutionary freedom.

Interesting points, H!

I have Quaoar semi-sextile Mercury - I guess that means I'm only a little bit intelligent since it's not a sextile, haha!

Ami, where do you get your info about Quaoar? I can't find any articles on it, I have it in Scorpio, 12th house, opposite Mars.

I don't remember where I got it but they cited the examples I did.

My use of Uranian TYPES was for types, which are examples of CONCEPTS, not for aspects, per se

The aspects were as I said, McCartney, Einstein and Mohammud Ali.

I thought that would be clear to intelligent people, as most are on LL, but I guess some people need it spelled out more, which I added

Last time I checked my IQ was 130. That is quite high. I dont see myself as a genius or brilliant and having such IQ didnt help me either in life. Simply because, in our world, people dont like smart people ( so I have been told, especially at work).

Great report, R. Thank you

Ah, Ami, I came here sparkling with hope that maybe, maybe, I'll discover some indicators towards the secret chamber with the holy grail of mental powers in my chart, but no, all hope died as of this moment

I won't even look Quaoar up, I bet it wasn't even on the sky at that point in time.

Hope you will create the "Nine MORE aspects that show intelligence" thread and then if not, I'll emigrate to some amazonian jungle where no one knows I'm a Virgo sun without any intelligent aspect in my chart so I won't be a shame to my clan. Thank you.

(Joking but also suffering from Neptune square Mercury and insomnia )

You got a point with the trines. The Sun/Uranus conjunction is BRILLIANT but there is a big price to pay with an electric mind but I can do an article on Brilliance with a Price. Does that sound good?

PS There are MANY forms of intelligence. Emotional intelligence can be much more important than intellectual. I should do an article on Emotional Intelligence-- Nine and a Half Aspects for Emotional Intelligence. In fact, I will

Yes that sounds good and i`ll be looking forward to reading it 👍 hehe. And yes you should definitely do an article on emotional intelligence been wanting to hear more about this area of intelligence and what might show this in a chart.

I would much rather have a LOT of emotional intelligence than be a total egghead lol

I know a girl. She is a doll. She is a literal rocket scientist but she is dumb about figuring out emotional situations.

That is not worth it at all/ You know what I mean?

Same thing--a positive vibe. You make other people feel good by the things you say! Nice aspect, CV!

Keep in mind, anyone can make lists like yours. They're completely arbitrary.

It doesn't take any effort to say, "Mercury trine Uranus reminds me of Sasha Cohen." You don't even have to bother checking the chart.

Which is lazy. And a missed opportunity to show how the aspects actually play out.

It shows a lack of respect for real astrology.

There is a form of intelligence which is social/emotional intelligence and I will put this on that list

You had a valid request, my Friend. I have these few haters who follow me around to my various threads. You had nothing to do with it.

ANYHOO, let' move on. I have a few new articles on my agenda

1. Lists for emotional intelligence

2. Lists for social intelligence, which is really the same, so they would be combined lol

3. Each sign has it's own sort of intelligence, so I may make a list for that like Virgo is very good with systems.

Pisces is very good with sensitivity etc

I'm not a hater and I don't follow you around.

I was just curious if you bothered to get your facts straight, since you have a tendency to screw up on purpose just to invite people coming in correcting you, just so you have an excuse to call them haters.

You love war.

I guess it's an unevolved Gemini thing. To outwardly manifest dualities:

Me versus you
Us versus them
Those whose a$$es you kiss, those you disparage

I marvel that you never get tired of this child's play.

Ohh dont be discouraged, I bet you are plenty smart. My partner has an IQ of 150 and he doesn't have any of those aspects but maybe he has one of the ones that come with a price, I can totally see that .

He has mercury trine moon in cancer in the second and sextile Venus, he loves accumulating knowledge on a daily basis, he has a very restless mind no doubt. He also has mercury quintile exact north node and amor in the 9H for love of learning.
