I have an issue with this, I know many people equate intelligence with abstract thinking, so then everything Sag and 9th house seems to be infusing tons of intelligence in the native. But intelligence is much more complex I think, not to mention that every society defines their own kind of ideal way to be intelligent. Western societies are obsessed with the little arrow going up and bang, getting the one and only logical answer. But if we'd lived in a tribal, more matriarchy-based context, I bet intelligence would have meant something completely different, maybe more related to intuition, emotional intelligence. Not saying one is better than the other, just saying it's socially defined. IP: Logged |

There's different types of intelligence. Bookish intelligence would be strong Mercury, Virgo, Gemini. Water signs are emotionally intelligent. The 9th house is the philosopher's house. I have Sun and Moon in 9th. I'm curious about how people live, what they eat, what they believe, how they go about their day. Comparing cultures. Socio-economic, racial, geographical diversity. How physiology dictates behavior, and behavior shapes psychology. IP: Logged |

I was just checking Ben Goertzel's chart. He is is an artificial intelligence researcher and the chief scientist at a company that created the AI robot Sophia. Ben is a true innovator and a visionary in the field. I was surprised to not see any planets in aquarius, but he does have Pholus in there and who knows perhaps his ascendant is aquarius but I don't have his exact brith time. I'm going by Ami's list: 1/ no 2/ not a trine, but he does have Mercury sextile Uranus 3/ Sun is not trine, but makes a bi-novile aspect with Uranus 4/ Quaoar does have a prominent place, but it is conjunct his Moon 5/ don't know his AC 6/ Check! 7/ no 8/ no 9/ no Interesting asteroids: Hybris (where one goes into extremes) conjunct Mercury Sapienta (above average wisdom?) conjunct his South Node Wikipedia conjunct his Moon Apollo conjunct his Juno (Apollo:God of prophecy and healing) Pythia conjunct his North Node (Pythia: Oracle of Delphi)(> he already makes predictions by which year we will be using AI robots and how smart they will be) Sophrosyne conjunct his Venus: Sophrosyne is an ancient Greek concept of an ideal of excellence of character and soundness of mind. It is the virtue of being reasonable and moderate and having self-control. It is considered the opposite of hubris (hybris). Mathesis conjunct Varuna conjunct Algol:
Mathesis: Indicates an incredibly studious or academic individual; someone devoted to the pursuits of intellect or the mind and Varuna (according to Ami Anne is It is charisma said through words, like speeches. It is a great leadership quality such that people will follow the personal power of the individual.) Elsewhere I read about Varuna: Varuna is that he exists on a very large scale and has the feeling of being so far beyond the human realm that he might as well be a deity-alien in a different dimension. So this sounds like a genius aspect to me .. IP: Logged |

My sun has quaoar exactly on his ascendant. He also has an exact cazimi with sun/mercury in scorpio. They're only seconds apart. IP: Logged | |
