Emotional Intelligence is the ability to understand the psychological workings of one’s own emotions and those of others. Emotional intelligence allows one the ability of putting oneself in the shoes of others. This facility will be shown in the charts, as are all our gifts and struggles. No one has everything. No one has nothing. We are, each, a combination of gifts and struggles. Some charts are very much harder than others. No one on earth can answer as to why. Only God knows and God is love. 1. Personal planets in the element of water.
The element of water enables us to RELATE to other people i.e be empathetic.The Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars and Venus are personal planets. 2. Unaspected Moon
The Unaspected Moon was not nurtured properly, as a child. However, conversely, he is very empathetic and can nurture others. 3. Unaspected Venus
The Unaspected Venus is gifted, socially. She is able to understand the workings of social dynamics, which enables her to understanding human nature in all it’s vagaries. 4 Sun trine Moon
This native has an excellent rapport between his head and his heart. He understands his own emotions. Hence, he is sensitive to the emotions of others. 5. Cancer Moon
Cancer Moon is the sign of the mother. The mother must understand the non verbal cries of her child. By the same token, the Cancer Moon is an empathetic person, in general.

These natives have a keen understanding of human nature. They are natural managers of people because they understand the workings of the human ego. 7. I think I've emotional intelligence as a receiver - I can put myself in another's place, feel what they are etc. But I've less in output. I can't convey what I'm experiencing.I've no personal planets in water signs or in a water house. However, I've Mercury trine Neptune & sometimes I think moon quintile Pluto does do something important. IP: Logged |

Yes, Florence, I can feel you as a receiver, just as you said. What did you mean that you can't express emotion, as much as receive it? Did I get that right?------------------

I can't express what I am emotionally aware of in others or even respond to it appropriately.My mum was once crying and by the end she was laughing but it was because my words of comfort were so bad lol made it worse. But usually I don't try because I can't vocalise what I'm feeling in the other. I'm better being a Taurus and quietly being sympathetic Not sure why this is but I've a feeling Uranus and Saturn are involved. It could also be Mercury opp pluto which I think is potentially a bit autistic IP: Logged |

Sounds like the water void, Florence. The voids make us kind of "foreign" in the element and people can see us as 'weird"I will give you an example. I had someone help me clean. One day, I asked her to help me organize a something. I was just standing there looking at all and could not figure out what to do with it. I could hear her mind thinking "what an idiot this chick is" I was frozen trying to do something very simple. That is the void lol Can you relate, Florence?

Yes I can relate to that. I can see A (what's wrong), C (what will comfort because I can see that even though it gets lost in translation - I get anxious and merc/Pluto makes me mute) but getting there is not natural to me at all. Also Venus square Saturn which makes expression aridIP: Logged |
