I will say that I personally have just learned to ignore Ami's posts. I don't take her opinion seriously and think she is inaccurate and highly biased the majority of the time.

HOWEVER, if she opens a thread, people have the right to disagree. People have the right to post their opinions, to argue with her, to try and correct her if she's posting something false. That's why this is an astrology board.

Please do not play me a violin about someone being "ganged up on". People are not arguing with her without provocation. What you're seeing is someone who tries to have a monopoly on this board by making seemingly authoritative articles and people disagreeing with her and adding their two cents, especially when it seems like her so-called knowledge is actually very shaky or overly subjective. It only looks like people are "following her around" because she posts so many times!

If a person can't truly take in that others have a difference in opinion and engage in a productive discussion, maybe they shouldn't make posts in the first place. It's not as simple as to say "just ignore her posts!" Plus, yes, she does have a history of being very manipulative, passive-aggressive, and a master projector. So, that does definitely play into these threads and people's reactions to her. I've been on this board since 2012 and I have seen this happen numerous times.

I think Ami likes to use this board as sort of like a second blog. She curiously does not post regularly on her actual blog but is on here with these "lists" all the time. This is not her blog. Her posts are not a "be all, end all". It should be about a discussion, not a lecture from someone, especially if that person is frequently wrong.

It is always like this! Its is just to make the person who is alone feel more alone and feel like **** and lose their temper.
Then people say "oh you see he/she is crazy"

They use the behaviour of the person as a excuse for their cruelty.

So...you didn't look at the links, then? I'll assume not. I do generally ignore her posts, and have stuck up for her on numerous occasions, actually.

I would still stick up for Ami if/when I believed someone was actually being unkind to her (it has happened when she brings up her personal stuff, I don't find it fair to judge her on her struggles that she's very open about).

I think that you're missing a few crucial details here, but so be it. If you choose to comment on a situation you don't fully understand, it's certainly your right.

I don't see anyone threatening her or insulting her. It's just disagreement. It's gotten quite passionate and, sure, some people have made fun of her a little. But, nonetheless, it's disagreement in a place where disagreement should be expected to happen.

I remember posting in that long thread about the election a while ago. For quite a few PAGES, several people were vigorously disagreeing with my political views left and right. But, you didn't hear me complaining about being "bullied". Nor did you hear people stop and say, "Hey, everyone, leave the89freespirit alone. You're ganging up on him!" Nor would I have wanted anyone to because it was just a discussion.

Plus, I entered that thread and I was the one who started the fire because everyone else was all, "Eh, I don't want to argue" and I came out swinging.

But, I didn't even start that thread and it was hardly even astrology-related. So, when the ORIGINAL POSTER is called out on an astrology board for their ideas about astrology, which have been proven to be wrong and which that person cannot accept, please tell me how that person is being ganged up on?

Let's not shun personal responsibility here. And maybe people don't feel like "just ignoring her", like I've learned to do, because she posts so frequently and they feel the need to speak out about what they think of her posts. Like I said, this is not her blog. If she posts something we don't agree with, we get to say it. Even if this were her blog, we'd still be able to say it.

This playing or assigning the role of the victim really needs to stop.
