The Ninth House is the house of the mind/ the intellect. The Ninth House is the house of God. The Ninth House is the house of long distance travel. The Ninth House is the house of higher education. the Ninth House is the house of Astrology.

Where the subject gets tricky is that some planets help one to achieve Ninth House goals and others impede or delay it.

Planets in the Ninth House

Pluto—-There will, likely, be ups and downs in Ninth House domains. For example, the native may not have an easy route to obtaining a college degree. Another example I, often, see is a native who struggles to find God.

Uranus—-There will likely be erratic changes and abrupt beginnings and endings in Ninth house areas. Also, the native may have eccentricities in any of the Ninth House domains, such as being attracted to a cult, for one example. On the other hand, the native could change colleges several times.

Neptune—-Neptune clouds that which it touches. This native may feel confused about God. He may be confused about whether or nor he wants to attend college. He may feel unsure of the values he wants to adopt for his life.

Sun—–The Sun in any house makes it a focal point house. I have the Sun here. A Ninth House Sun is, usually, a prodigious reader. Reading allows one to travel long distance in one’s mind, making it a perfect Ninth House activity.

Moon—–The Moon in any house reveals the focal point of the heart of the native. Moon in the Ninth House, likely, loves learning!

Mars—-Mars in any house reveals drive to succeed in that house. It reveals a goal to meet the agenda of that house. In the Ninth House case, it may be desire for education, long distance travel or to study Astrology.

Venus–Venus in any house reveals that which we love. The Ninth House Venus, likely, loves learning! (There could be aspects to all these planets that could mitigate the simple definitions, but these are not the domain of this article because it will lead to confusion and we don’t need that!)

Mercury—Mercury in any house shows the topics which, likely, occupy the mind of the native. In this case, the native would, likely, be an excellent student!

Jupiter–Jupiter sprinkles fairy dust on that which he touches. In this case, the native may be blessed with opportunity in any of the Ninth House spheres.

Chiron–Chiron brings pain to the house which it touches. I have seen these native unable to finish college. I have seen pain upon moving to a foreign land. If one’s Chiron in in the Ninth House, study the Ninth House descriptions to find the one that fits. Usually, it is just one or, mainly, one Ninth House domain.

Saturn–Saturn delays in the house in which it resides. It delays, so that one will learn maturity. Hence, if one has discipline and applies oneself, one will succeed in the House in which Saturn resides. This native may struggle to finish college. He may struggle to find God. However, he will, likely, prevail in a wonderful way, if he defers gratification.

The Make Up of the Stellium
I have what could be called a blessed Ninth House stellium. The planets are the Sun, Moon, Mercury in Venus. Hence, I find great joy and ease in Ninth House arenas. I love reading and studying. The other unusual thing I have is that I am never bored. I think it is, simply, the nature of this Ninth House stellium and the planets therein.

If one has Pluto, Uranus, Saturn or Chiron here, one may expect struggles of the manner I described earlier. Hence, the Ninth House may not be the kind of refuge for you that it is for me.

If one has Jupiter in the Ninth House, one will, likely, enjoy Ninth house activities,excel therein and have many opportunities such as a scholarship to college, for one example.

So glad that we share this placement lol

I hope I do finish college, I seem to be doing very well so far. I am in my second year now. I have Sun, Moon, Mercury, North Node & Chiron all in the 9th house.

Chiron and NN in the same house is a bit confusing. Haha!

But I generally do love 9th house matters.

My 9th house ruler also receives a VERY STRONG trine from Jupiter, so I think that maybe this may make my chances of finishing college on time much easier.

I just wanted to add something quick. Not to interfere or anything.

I have both of these in the 9th house. I went to varsity,was supposed to be there for 3,stayed for 6

I kept changing majors and second-guessing if I really want to finish at all. But I eventually did finish. Thank goodness!!
