I think we all struggle to feel worthwhile. I do. I don't think I am alone because many people seem to be interested in these articles. The bottom line is that God loves us. I think life is about finding Him and then, trying to do His will for your life. When a person embraces God's loves one, it helps one to accept one's flaws. In this article, I will talk about five 12th House placements. The 12th House could be called the house of hiding. 1. Moon in the 12th House The Moon is one's deepest heart. The 12th House turns inward, as a child would, as he faces the wall in a time out corner. The Moon in the 12th House may be afraid to express her/his emotions, for fear of looking silly or being rebuked. The Moon is very sensitive. It is, simply, much more sensitive in the 12th House. I think the real problem with the Moon in the 12th House is that when one hides one's feelings, it makes one feel more alone. However, the level of trust that it takes to share one's feeling may make one leery of doing so.The 12th House Moon may tell himself that that he is DIFFERENT and WEIRD. However, if he shared all that "weirdness" with others, she would, likely, find that she is the same as everyone else. 2. Mercury in the 12th House Mercury is the mind. A happy mind is one that expressed itself freely. The 12th House suppresses. Hence, this native may not feel comfortable expressing his thoughts. He may feel his thoughts are silly or his thoughts may bring rejection. I think that a happy person can be authentic. We, all, struggle to be authentic. This is due to the fact that if we expose ourselves and get hurt, it hurts very badly. However, if we hide, the safety we try to garner is an illusion and we have made our own prisons.
3. Saturn in the 12th House Saturn in the 12th reminds me of a child sitting by himself in the cafeteria. There is the table with the "popular" kids. He wants to join so badly, but he is afraid. The fear of the ridicule that may occur if he is rejected may stop him from venturing forth. Hence, he may never know that many people would have accepted him. This aspect, as well as most aspects, reveal our lens on life. That lens is what stops us from achieving our dreams. YET, it is so very difficult to jettison that lens. 4. Mars in the 12th House Mars is the male principle, which is drive. Mars represents how we go after what we want. Mars represents our ability to be direct, such as the ability to be assertive. The Mars in the 12th House native may suppress his drives. It is very life vitiating to suppress oneself. Hence, one may feel very angry at oneself for not standing up and honoring oneself. 5. Pluto in the 12th House Pluto is P-O-W-E-R. In the 12h House, it may become suppressed power. Pluto in the 12th House is a hard one, due to Pluto being such a powerhouse planet. Pluto very much needs to be expressed, not suppressed. hence, the naive may suffer a variety of conditions related to suppressed emotions, such as anxiety, depression, headaches and other such maladies. ------------------ Want to Read Simple, Fun,Sexy Articles on Astrology? I either know people with loaded 12th houses or very little in their 12th. Usually Jupiter, Sun, or Mercury standing alone or Sun and Mercury standing together. Sun/ Merc definitely makes people a bit more shy. Even my Leo friends that are out in the public eye still have a shy quality about them. Both my partner (sag sun) and my youngest (gem sun) have sun and mercury in the 12th. They are both extremely extroverted when they feel comfortable but super shy / quiet when they don't know you. the aspect I found that struggle the most with their self worth is definitely Sun square Saturn. Everyone I know with this aspect has some sort of problem with themselves, hidden or not. Cannot believe you didnt include that aspect though, not even in this one, as it is MUCH stronger than for an example mars in the 12... IP: Logged |

I don't have it myself, but I believe that when saturn has to do with restrictions, work and discipline and the sun to do with your self, your way of showing your identity/shining through somehow, and when there is a conflict between these to.... I believe the result is someone who is struggling a lot with finding out how to move forward in life... I mostly see it connected with their career and in job-situations. But that is exactly the kind of situations where you dont want to become too critical with yourself or too restricted. I really think it's a shame whenever I see people with this aspect...they got high ambitions, without doubt, but it really takes them many years to sort this square out....On the other hand I believe that people with the trine are much better of, and seem to have a much more realistic picture of who they are and what they can achieve. My 10-year-old has Sun, Mercury, and Uranus in 12th. Your description fits my daughter, as well. She comes across very shy but when comfortable she never shuts up. IP: Logged |

I've got Pluto in the 12th house. I do get anxiety and become depressed often. Also, it's so difficult to express anger or happiness, I'm just so reserved when inside I feel everything intensely. IP: Logged |

I'm having pretty big struggles with my self worth right at the moment, but it's been a strong running theme throughout my existence. I think it has a large part to do with the relationship with my mother - I think her coldness and inability to nuture left a permanent imprint which leaves me feeling unlovable and like I'm on an island a lot during my adulthood. I have moon square Neptune; Venus in Scorpio; and Chiron conjunct the MC; along with moon, sun, Saturn, Jupiter and Pluto in the second house. I think these aspects and placements make me really sensitive. I feel weird and alone and unloveable and even invisible a lot. I don't really feel like I fit. I think I have a lot of work to do around my self worth, but I don't know where to start. IP: Logged |
