Thanks, Isa

I mostly hear about separations during a SR with Pluto on the DSC. Glad to know yours was the good transformation!

Similar to Isa I left an abusive relationship and entered a new, transformative (in a positive way) one. Went from being with someone who wanted to control my every move to realizing that finding someone you can be fully vulnerable/comfortable with and still trust is the only way to actually be happy in a relationship.. (common sense really lol thanks pluto for teaching me the hard way)

Don't worry! Sometimes we worry too much and everything happens in opposite direction. I thought I would be alone and single and would make money with my career, but it was the opposite, hahaha.
Also, in Whole Signs, Jupiter was going through my 7th conjunct my moon in transits, so that helped. I would definetly pay more attention to transits and progressions than to SR.

Is this for your current year or your upcoming year? I feel like this could signify more of the emotions associated with your relationship. I'm really only familiar with Moon on MC or IC.

Yes this year. April 2016-April 2017. So far there hasn't been any huge emotional drama, but we have only been dating since October, so I guess from now until my next bday in April there could be emotional turmoil, but I hope not

Yes, I hope not. I actually see Moon in 7th as a positive thing. Whats your 7th like for your upcoming SR?

I'm not sure if I'm staying here or traveling 8 hours away for my bday, but my SR if I stay home has a super distinct and clear grand earth trine, but doesn't involve any planets in the 7th. My 2017 SR 7th house if I stay home has Aquarius at 0 degrees on the 7th cusp and Aquarius' modern ruler Uranus in the 10th in a 5 degree (a little wide of an orb for me) conjunction the the MC, it's traditional ruler Saturn is part of the distinct earth trine and is at the very end of the 5th house basically conjuncting the 6th house cusp by 2 degrees. Both rulers are trine each other by 3 degrees and are applying too.

Saturn is quintile Jupiter which seems to mean expressing myself creatively in a larger than life way but not going overboard.

If I travel to San Francisco 8 hours away then the DC changes to 28 Capricorn but the ruler is Saturn which is also the 7th ruler if I stay home. In the travel chart Saturn exactly conjuncts the 6th house cusp.

Oh interesting! How do you calculate different locations for solar returns? I use astro.com...

And I just want to clarify that my personal experiences with solar returns are overlayed with my natal chart

I use astro also. Just look at where it says "location" and change it.

I just checked mine for when I bought my home and moved.

I had Uranus right on top of my IC.

Wait... For the SR you use your current location and not your birthplace, right? I had my birthplace in the settings all along. That would change everything!

Yes, I look at both but if you're going to be in that new location most of the year.. it makes sense to change it. Don't know if that's the "correct" way of doing it but it does seem to be very telling in my experience.

Or for those of us vagabonds who drift from place to place I would first look at the location your SR actually takes place, then look at the chart for the place you're considering moving.

On astro.com go to where it says "default settings" then click on modify reference place and change the city..
