Inspired by another topic where a user asked about a man with Virgo in Mars but not specifically about the sexuality of this placement, I thought I’d create a thread dedicated to the sexuality of Virgo Mars men. I for one am very interested in this placement and how it usually manifests in a man. So if you are a Virgo Mars man or have been involved with one:How do they approach a love interest?
What turns them on?
Are they faithful?
Kinky/prude?
What are they attracted to in a woman? Looks/behavior. I should probably be able to answer this myself since the majority of men I've been involved with has had this placement (my Virgo Moon apparently loves a Virgo Mars). I am a woman with Virgo Mars conj Asc and parallel Pluto. I like:
Cleanliness! I shower 2-3 times per day..
Raw passion without words/gadgets/role play
Naked bodies and warmth
Someone that makes me feel like I want to "rip him apart" and vice versa..
Dark haired men I DO NOT LIKE:
Being chased ie chill with the texts/calls/dates etc
Dirty talk
Overt kinkiness
Vulgarity I am very loyal until proven it's a waste of my time. Then all bets are off!

I can only speak for the one I dated. My brother is Virgo Mars and he and I are friends, but I don't want to think of his sexuality really. LOL But he does have certain things in common with my ex (always clean and well-dressed, for one thing.) 1. How do they approach a love interest? My college boyfriend (on/off four years) wrote me a letter expressing his interest, so I knew he liked me before I ever saw him. I realize this is not typical or useful information. 2. What turns them on? What doesn't? Kidding, I don't know. edit 3. Are they faithful? Mine was, I think. Can't be 100% certain but he wanted to spend like every minute together, so I'm guessing he was. 4. Kinky/prude? Not too kinky 5. What are they attracted to in a woman? Looks/behavior. *edit Composure, intelligence, uniqueness, politeness, cleanliness (obviously)...sense of humor. My ex was turned off by tattoos and the only time he ever threatened to break up with me was when I said I was getting a tattoo. Absolute deal-breaker. Wow. Same here ! Especially the cleanliness and he showering part. Bad breath repulses me and I'm a bit OCD about it. ( years ago I was sooo attracted to this man but I could not get past his bad breath and do nothing ever happened) I can appear "prudish" I guess, but am actually quite passionate when with the right person. That's when it comes out. I have always been selective about my sexual encounters and partners , and was never one to be promiscuous. I'm in my thirties and have only had 4 lovers. Faith, I read your unedited post on the subway and I think it was spot on. Sounds exactly like the Virgo Mars man I have in mind. He seems to be impressed with intellectual women who are into the arts. I agree with politeness, that’s my impression as well. As for appearance, do they like petite women, perhaps? Maybe I just think that because I’m petite myself and have been involved with so many Virgo Mars’s. It could just be due to my Virgo Moon though. Nonetheless, I was involved with a Virgo Venus/Mars once and he wasn’t very intellectual, hence, not very enchanted by intellectual women. And a bit of a slob (I say that lovingly). I’ve been trying to figure out how these placements suited him. He did have a street-smart kind of intelligence. Hmm … But we were very young. Thanks, charlie! It will be interesting to compare how the placement affects women vs men, if any Virgo Mars men share their preferences in the thread. I'm trying to apply your Virgo Mars preferences to my Virgo Moon, because I know I'm very influenced by my Moon in my choice of partners.Of course I like clean men, but it annoys me if someone is too pedantic with their home/hygiene. I think you have to make room for living and messing around a bit (I'm Gemini Sun though). Ah you're so welcome. My ex and my brother both were/are strictly into thin women. I've heard comments from both like "She's so pretty, but her thighs are too big." On the other hand I've seen comments by Virgo Mars men on this site that they prefer curvy so...I don't know. IP: Logged |

I am currently having a fling with one and dated a Venus/Mars conjunct in Virgo in the past.Both are gay and so I don't know if it will be of much use. The one from the past didn't care much for intimacy. Didn't care for sex and found it a "dirty" business . The current one is very kinky. LOVES to be touched(Taurus Moon) and finds physical intimacy very necessary to his very existence. I think Virgo energy(like Scorpio) can manifest in two ways; the prude or the porn star  I have yet to meet someone whom is in-between. IP: Logged |

Wouldn`t the Venus placement be more indicative of what a man likes in a woman? At least it would have to be read as combo I think. Mars usually depicts the sexual style, yes, but not necessarily describes the type they are attracted to, though there are exceptions of course. IP: Logged |

The Virgo Mars that I know prefer curvy women. Or partners with "solid" bodies. Rearly see one with a waif type lady. That is for the Venus in Libra guys. Their women always look a little sloppy, and in need of fixing. Another thing, they're attracted to women who work in the Healthcare field. IP: Logged |

Ha I probably created the buzz of th beast of Virgo Mars. I recently met a Virgo Mars conjunction Jupiter with Sag sun. Dude has a high sex drive and we are actually oddly sexually compatible even tho I have Aries Mars. But I do have Gemini Venus - so I'm mercurial as well. IP: Logged |

I haven't studied astrology for very long, but my impression is that both Venus and Mars play a part in what men are attracted to. Two sides of the same coin, so to speak. And since Mars should be what I, as a woman, am attracted to, yet, I'm far more attracted to my Moon/Jupiter I figured it's an interplay of some sort, for both men and women. IP: Logged |

Thanks for sharing, Astra!One thing that seems to be recurring is the intelligence theme. I've seen that in Virgo Mars men as well. A good friend of mine is Virgo Sun but has both Venus/Mars in Leo and he's definitely more drawn to a woman's appearance. Intelligence is appreciated but secondary to him, I believe. Hmm, well, I'm a Virgo Mars male but I don't date ladies, though. I have Mercury in Virgo conjunct my Mars and also Venus in Virgo. But, Venus is too far away to be conjunct either. I have Mars in the 7th, so I honestly couldn't be in a relationship where the sexual chemistry wasn't there or dried up over time. That's a very important part of the relationship to me. If the sex isn't good, then I am seeking the next exit! Haha. But, that's just because it brings passion and keeps it alive. When I'm turned on, I'm highly turned on and when I'm not, I can just be thinking "Blah, this is so boring." I'm very specific sexually. So, one wrong move can throw the entire thing off. It's not quite as bad as it sounds. I'm very vocal about my likes and dislikes, so I give him a chance to learn and catch up. I often feel like I have to teach my sexual partner how to please me. If he doesn't get it, it's a surefire way for me to lose interest. I can be a lot of work in the bedroom. I'm not really easy to please sexually. But, I'm extremely pleased when you get there. I'm not a prude.  I'm quite casual about sex actually. But, I also like to keep it pretty classy. So, I'm not wildly casual about sex, either. I'm definitely not on hook-up apps all the time or anything. I actually really need to intellectually connect before anything sexual happens (which is also due to Mercury being conjunct Mars, as well). We need to engage in good conversation and I need to know that he can make me laugh or interest me, in person and right on the spot. That's part of the reason why I don't do online dating. I need to pick your brain in person and see if you pass the test. Also, I'm really not kinky. Toys and fetishes and stuff like that just don't do it for me. You'd think my sex drive would be on the weirder side since Mars is trine my Uranus. But, I just see that aspect reflecting how on-and-off, hot-and-cold my sexuality can be. I do love dirty talk though because, when done right, I think it's really amazing and makes it so much better. Again, I think it's because Mercury is conjunct. ------------------
