EmGem,

Your topic title and opening line grabbed me like the start of a good novel might.

From personal experience, I can tell you the Libra/Scorpio zone is difficult territory to handle, both for the native and for those attempting relationships with him/her.

You've got Libra weighing all the options, doing his/her usual balance act. Quite naturally, the need for a love/parntership connection is powerful. Rarely is it decisive, though. If it is, expect it to take time while the subject vacillates.

Meanwhile, you've got all the dark corners, deep currents, and hidden thoughts of Scorpio to deal with, never an easy task even with a Venus compatible to the rest of the subject's chart.

One of my early attempts at reading charts involved a young woman with such a mix – don't recall the exact placements. However, it included several personal planets in Scorpio and Libra. It was no place for a beginner, and I threw in the towel after several attempts to understand her.

Later I got into handwriting analysis and saw the confusing puzzle I had tried to solve.

Your subject could be playing games with you, or he could not be. Bank on this, though: his head and heart are most likely playing games within him, and it might not be a game he's enjoying.

You said he's 38? If my math is correct, that is the year of the Horse. In your shoes, I'd take a look at what the Chinese have to say about that animal. Not infrequently, Horse people lack in follow-through, which might not be the end of the world provided you can, and are willing to, take the reins.

My cousin was born before this guy maybe 2 days? He's a libra moon

He's about to get married to his gf of 20 yrs next year lol.... so they do want a solid relationship but the actual commitment might take a while.

For air and sag ppl, you need to have your own life, go do your own thing. Consider them just one option among many other existing ones. I mean aren't you a Gemini?

Speaking as a girl with that mix ^, I think GrandFireT is on the money.

Thank you SO much for your reply. I can see what you mean. There's this tension in him.
When we met he was SUPER nervous around me. He admitted after that when we locked eyes it was really intense and sexy.
My clairevoyant friend thinks we have the potential to be something pretty solid but that we need to take time to get to know each other otherwise it'll crash and burn. i'm not so disciplined in the holding off from sex part.
The desire is so strong for us. It's almost bordering on danger. But I can see he's SO nervous around me. We hugged for what seemed like such a long time and he was trembling. It was pretty cute I must admit but i also felt for him too. He later said that all he wanted to do was rip my clothes off.

Grand Fire T, we are both Horses, the same age I've been able to be very committed in my relationships despite what the Chinese say about us. my longest relationship lasted 10 years.
When you say his head and heart might be playing a game he's not enjoying, what do you mean? Like, wanting freedom vs closeness type thing?

@theunknown, yes I'm a gemini so having my own life is very much a priority. Being a scoprio ascendant I have that need for intense closeness too. Although uranus sits on my ascendant too.
