My family isn't rich, but I think we're somewhere in the upper middle class. On my own, however, I'm currently very poor. Still, I have what I need, and with age, I have grown to prefer practical things that will last a while over buying a bunch of things I don't need simply because I want it. Food, of course, is one of the exceptions.

When I grew up though, my parents didn't have much money. My dad still doesn't, but my mom makes enough money to support everyone and I'm grateful for all that she does. Additionally, from what I've seen of my brother's artwork, I can see him becoming an accomplished artist one day.

So based on this thread alone, and the 2 Libra IC stories that were shared, there is sort of a mirage of wealth. And many Libran things to go with it: parties, luxuries, etc. That is really fascinating to me.

Yes I love this thread, it also appears that perhaps IC in Taurus and Leo tend to come from well off families.

I think it appears that way for Taurus IC because it starts at the foundation or "family core".

Having a good loving home and family members that will bend there back for each other is the first step.

Even if a family isn't well off to begin with if every family member contributes evenly in the long run they will be able to catch up.

I ask this question all the time with seniors that worry about there retirement. Whats your relationship with your children like?

What happened to the I support my children to go to school, doesn't necessarily have to be financial and then they appreciate it then they look after me later?

Very blue collar background. Lower middle class, with an emphasis on lower and not so much middle class. My parents always made sure we had the basics (food, clothes, roof over our heads). My parents didn't go to college but they worked very, very hard to make sure we were okay.

I grew up with a single mom who worked in restaurants making minimum wage - so my family was not well off.

my close friend has a Capricorn IC, opposite of mine, and his family struggles financially yet they are all pretty close emotionally. his family is smart and theyve all been great at school but for some reason never seem to have money, lack of ambition in the family or maybe poor business common sense lol. unfortunately i feel like his going to end up like this too. sighhhhhhhh. ive looked at his family harts and they all have a capricorn influence in some type of way...they dont seem to have emotional problems either besides the mom

funny how things are the exact opposite....youd think a capricorn IC family would have money

@etherealsaturn....funny you mention your relationship with your mom. mine was exactly like that too. i was super super close to my mom growing up. we were inseperable, but once i turned 12 we started fighting a lot and grew apart. she wanted to lay down the rules and i wasnt having it.
