@Elysia

Oh it's fine to quote that...I was worried about someone quoting the whole post before I was finished.

Glad you like it!

Thanks for adding music.

Aha! How about this to synergize the energies of all three?

(music) Les Berceaux. Op. 23 Nº1 (Gabriel Faure, 1879; poem by Sully-Prudhomme; Gerard Souzay 1960, lyrics w trnsl engl) [2:53] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7n8zsxygheg

Elysia... I remember we had a thread where we did your username song... from Faure's Requiem. In Paradisium... ? Now we just have to find the Sabian for you. LOL

(music) In Paradisium (Faure, Requiem) [3:02] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zuQXGA_BwY4

Faith... I LOVE folk-Cowboy Songs too!!! *looks*
Streets of Laredo ... was a favorite (privately played) on my guitar.

This is a beaut!

What I was trying there was to see which Sabian matched Faith's cowboy song best (the melancholy one).
I ended up in typical #LibranConfusion between some options. "Me wants pink candy. No, me wants blue. How about green?"

Hell yes, I remember!! I was so flattered you would think of a song for moi.

Makes absolute sense that my theme song is a requiem. Couldn't have picked one better myself.

P.S. Can we hear your guitar version someday?

Oh goody!!
Yeah, no pressure.. It's for your viewing (listening) pleasure.

I'm just adding stuff here when I think of something that seems to go well with it's Sabian..

Faith, I'd like to suggest a song you might not have 'imagined' (Neptune word) as pertaining to your Sabian and Neptune? Neptune also represents Higher-Love, Higher-Ideals, and spirituality-- even sacrificial service?

We don't always know the direct (or indirect) influence our lives have had on another person. We can 'do good' and never realize it-- never be recognized or acknowledged?

Some day, when you're older, there might be individuals who approach you, during a time you would need it most, who might sing this to you at a time you need consolations-- in your (Sabian) "Widow's" time of grief.

(music) Because You Loved Me (Celine Dion, lyrics) [4:35] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6DIVB4OUP7M

{ty for pointing out I had wrong url... I usually check my work. It's now fixed on Feb4 at 200pm}

For the Streets of Laredo?

Thank you! I love these! The man singing the song many years later, looking back on the memory of watching the cowboy dying, thinking of his own mortality. Beautiful, in such a sad way.

Wow....so happy there are subtitles. This is the kind of thing I never listen to...but I'm amazed at how easily I can get in the mood for it and enjoy it. A Pisces moon is good for some things, after all.

Oooo that's better, mirage. Thanks for the insight.

So glad it did! I hope I'm not bringing it down again by talking too much.

Just wanted to spend a lazy morning listening and chatting about music. And drinking so much coffee that at least half my sentences end in exclamation points! Caffeine punctuates its own way.

Blast from the past-- Roy Rogers! haha. Watched him every Saturday morning. Was one of my first memories, very young. I liked the way his daughter would climb onto an airplane wing and pose there a bit-- then actually get in and fly it!

As far as performing in front of others?

I want to mention that Elysia was sooo kind when she asked. (Didn't want to 'put her off' at all.) I've seen LL'ers post audio sound-clouds, yt's, etc. I was truly honored.

I don't like performing in front of others, unless I'm part of a small group, or duet... Or, I have a scripted part as a cast-member in a play.

I love to try to choose good URL's from yt, though.
