I'm going to comment on another thread that references this thread, but for this one I just wanted to say that People of the Lie: The Hope for Healing Human Evil is an excellent book. I know that I myself would avoid reading it given how often Ami Anne promotes it, and that would be a shame. It's very insightful and not at all like anything Ami would write. Furthermore, Ami is a textbook example of what Peck was describing as one of the People of the Lie, and I suspect that Ami learned of it because someone once pointed out to her how much Peck nailed people like her in that book.IP: Logged |
