What in the natal can point to arrogance? A real distorted view of one's own significance? Particularly when a person wants to make a show of it and bask in said "brilliance."I know a guy who really views himself above everyone else. He likes to talk down to people in a condescending tone, belittling them. Though, I don't think he realizes that people notice this....as if they are too dumb to catch on and he is just way too clever. I remember when I first met him not understanding how he could have any friends. The friends he had, although I was not super close with, I thought highly of. I couldn't understand why such smart, kind, talented people would choose to spend time with someone so delusional and manipulative. Turns out, they all ended up seeing what I saw three years later. Sadly, one of them had to get real hurt before coming to that conclusion. Anyways, I'm starting to realize this guy isn't a special snowflake and there are lots of people out there like him. I wish I new his time of birth. Thoughts? Personal experiences? ------------------

Alot of people have great aspects in their chart , but still have a sense of superiority that would not justify anything around the natal chart. I think it could be rather karmic , and the possibilities of those karmic stories from the past could be numerous if one determines the north node and aspects to the north node. Some of the intense signs of the zodiac could have a sense of superiority due to feelings of mistrust mostly but they attach the feeling to their intuition, intellect or value system. I do not feel that is the case, I feel like the feeling of superiority can be more deep seated than that or if they chose lessons that are mostly misunderstood. Ignorance or deep trauma leading to more complexities, Either they hide it, or it becomes a trigger and they are reactive, or they are in denial of this. Suppose someone operated from malice in the past and now they are more reactionary and protective, often judgemental. The energy continues from the past differently. They have not broken the cycle though.
Sometimes people are just aloof or impersonal and that can be mistaken as superiority as well. Air signs like Aquarius can be impersonal.
North node aspects, especially planets square north node could tell a karmic story from the past. IP: Logged |

I know a couple of Capricorns who talk down at people and think themselves "above" everyone. Capricorn really does have a hierarchical perspective on the world IME. Many won't respect you if you haven't made "something" of yourself i.e become a success in something materialistic or the other. Another one is Leo. Yeah I went to sleep and woke up to read the rest of that thread and what was said. Beyond disturbing..... Like I said, if someone's determined to disagree, they'll disagree no matter what is said, as was clearly the case here. That's why no point engaging with them. And to threaten women behind a computer screen is pretty cowardly IMO.I've known an Aquarius and a Gemini who have acted superior, but unfortunately I never knew their birthdays, only their signs and the year they were born in, so I can't state what aspects they had that might have contributed to this superiority complex  . This kind of person is CLUELESS to themselves. They insult, attack and demean others and when they are not liked, they have NO CLUE why not.
This person is a Malignant Narcissist. Scott Peck calls then 'evil" in his book "People of the Lie" I think they are born this way and I think the chart shows this. I have articles on it from an astrological perspective. You really, really want to hate this person but their PRISON of their own making and what they suffer is punishment enough, even though people, being human, really, really, really hate them lol------------------

The Malignant Narcissist will never ever, ever face themselves. They really have no CLUE i.e CLUELESS what they are doing when they others and act totally obnoxious in other such ways. They think they are right and other people are to blame when others don't see how right they are and how superior *cough*They have a small number of people to whom they "suck up" These people are used to make them look good, so not everyone will "see" them and despise them The most important thing to know is they will never change unless there is a true miracle from God. Hence, it is hopeless to be upset by them, engage with them or, basically, worry about them at all, other than to LEARN and then to be free of them. ------------------
